CHAPTER 191
I put the items back in the box and took it with me to my bed chambers I needed to shower and dress guest would be arriving soon. I hoped Zoya would behave. I had not heard from her since they moved out of the castle, but I had talked to Henry a few times.
An hour later I stood outside as Sasha brought everyone threw the mist to my castle. I greeted everyone with Nole, Bre and my first minister at my side doing the same. All the older children accompany their parent. I saw that my Jennifer was holding hands with a young man I had never seen before.
"Papa Sebastian, I would like you to meet my mate, Koda." Jennifer said as she kissed me on the cheek.
"Your mate?" I questioned her looking at Sasha who nodded.
"Your Highness it is a pleasure to meet you," Koda said to me bowing his head. I put out my arm to him, and he clasped arms with me.
"You and I will need to have a few words Koda," I told him.
"Papa Sebastian!" Jennifer said getting upset.
"Jennifer, I just want to get to know the young man. Nothing more." I told her. She gave me a look like she did not believe me. Sasha came over and collected Jennifer and Koda as I continued to greet the other. I started to get a bit nervous as Zoya and Henry were the next people in line. Henry clasped arms with me Zoya bowed her head but said nothing. Once we had greeted everyone we went inside and socialized with everyone for a while the clock struck eight. It was time to start the ceremony. 
I walked up to the podium and waited for the room to become quiet.
"Welcome everyone, tonight marks a special night for my first minister and Prince Nole.
If I could have you both join me?" I asked. I waited as they made their way to the podium.
"As long as I have been King and my father before me we found having our seven Ministers enough to rule the kingdom. But tonight I Sebastian King of all werewolves and Lycan's have decided to do as my grandfather did and make someone my Beta.
It was not a hard decision to whom I would choose for this Job. But before I do that I want to recognize my first Minister for his loyalty, honesty and hard work. Philip can you stand before me?" I asked. Philip had a shocked look on his face. I had not told him of this before hand. He stood before we his hands behind his back his feet slightly apart and his head held high.
"Philip you have served me for fifty years now, your loyalty, honesty and hard work has not gone unnoticed. I present to you this medal of honor." I said as I pinned it onto his uniform. I kissed both his cheeks and he bowed to me. The room erupted with applause. I put up my hand, and the room became silent again. Paul had stepped back and stood beside Nole.
"Now, this decision I have made had raised a lot of controversy with some my Ministers. Though I value everyone's opinion I will not tolerate discrimination in my court or among my subjects. That being said it is time for me to introduce you all to my Beta Nole please come and stand in front of me. Nole walked to stand in front of me I gave him a big smile.
"Prince Nole on this day I request for you to be my Beta, to do loyal, honest and caring to the subjects of our kingdom. Do you accept these responsibilities and do them with the best of your abilities?"
I do Your Highness," Nole said.
I placed the medallion around his neck then pinned the medal on his uniform.
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you Beta Nole. There was a lot of applause, but a very few Lycans did not join in on the acceptance or congratulations, of Nole becoming Beta. If they thought it had gone unnoticed my me they were mistaken. The first minister congratulated Nole and bowed his head to him. Most of the other Ministers did the same.
"Thank you everyone, enjoy the party." I said then went to mingle with everyone. I found Koda and Jennifer talking with their cousins.
"Walk with me in the garden?" I asked them.
"Papa! “Jennifer said. Giving me a look.
"I just want to get to know your mate better, and see what your plans are, I'm going away for almost six months," I told her. We went out into the garden and strolled among the flowers and plants. When we came to a set if benches I sat down and they sat opposite me.
"As I was saying I'm leaving for six months in two days time. So, I will miss your mating ceremony. What would my eldest god daughter like for a gift?" I asked.
"Honestly papa, I don't want to live in a castle or at papa Colts I just want to have my own little home where Koda and I can live and raise our pups." Jennifer said with a huge sigh.
"Have you told your mother this?" I asked.
"No, she already has it arranged that we will live with papa Colt." She told me.
"Yes your mother can be hard to deal with once she has made up her mind about something. Tell me what pack do you want to have this house in?" I asked.
"Well it would have to be Rollin and Sable's pack as Koda and I will have to learn to control our abilities." Jennifer said.
"Then consider it done, I will take care of everything from the house to the tea cups in your kitchen cupboards." I told her.
"Good luck getting mom to listen," Jennifer said. I just laughed.
"So tell me Koda what is it you want to do?" I asked.
"I'm a carpenter, I would still like to do that if I'm allowed." Koda said.
"Consider it done, you will have a work shop behind your home." I told him. Koda smiled.
"When I come home I hope to see some of your fine work, I need to update this old castle." I added.
"That would be best present ever." Jennifer said.
