CHAPTER 190
"Nancy dear, here is my clip board and pen, would you be so kind as to write down everything I tell you too?" He asked her.
"Of course, " Nancy said taking the board and pen.
"I'm sure Jaxson or I could do that," I said.
"It would be better if both of you are seeing what I'm finding, if you get tired of being on your feet Nancy just let me know." Thomas said.
"I will be fine, but thank you," Nancy said. Then Tomas started looking at all the machinery. He would pull tools out of the tool belt he had on and do thing and tell Nancy things to write down. I was shocked at what he was finding. He pulled out a set of tweezers from his belt at the vat that had ruptured. He bent underneath the vat and pulled off a metal plate that had come lose by the fire. Underneath was another plate.
"As I expected, Tyson and Jaxson bend down here and read what this says." He told us we both looked as he told Nancy to write something down. It was almost noon when we finished at Jaxson’s.
"Well I believe it will be lunch, Nancy," Thomas said.
"I thought I would be," Nancy laughed. We all went to Nancy and my house for lunch and a good hour of relaxing. Nancy to my surprise had lunch prepped so it was ready in no time.
After I helping Nancy clear the table Thomas came into the kitchen.
"I thought I would have a look at the wonderful kitchen you told me your mate built for you," he said to Nancy. My back went up I had put so much into this kitchen to make it perfect for her. He look at everything even the walk-in fridge.
"Alpha Tyson, I must say you did a wonderful job with this kitchen, it would be any cook’s dream. You're a lucky girl Nancy; your mate knows his stuff." Thomas said. Ok I was not going to kill him now.
"Thank you, Thomas," I said instead. We took thermos of coffee and headed to the wineries. As he did at Jaxson’s he had Nancy write thing down for him. He had gotten to the one vat we had issues with yesterday.
"Alpha Tyson, I'm sorry to tell you the wine in this vat is contaminated." He told me. I grabbed a glass and opened the seal and pit in the tap, then put some of the wine in a glass. It smelled ok. Then I drank some and spit it back into the glass.
"How?" I asked him.
"You see this part that you have been replacing." He said. I nodded.
"It is degraded, do you have the box this came from?" He asked. I had one of the workers get the box. We had just received it last week. I passed him the box and e pulled out the remainder of the parts that were in the box then he examined the box. There was a sticker on the box that he pealed off.
These parts are all defective, you see what it says under the sticker I took off. I took the box and looked. 'Defective - to be destroyed.' Was stamped on the box. I showed Jaxson. By the time we were done, and he checked our inventories of both packs we had him stay for dinner Jaxson called and had Lisa join us. Lance was watching his pups so his mate could visit her mother in another pack she would not be back for a couple more days.
It was late when I drove Thomas back to his car. He was going to investigate the company's we bought from. He would also find us some reputable manufacturers we could buy from. Everything we had bought had to be replaced. On the drive home by myself I realized we were going to need a lot more money from Nancy. I was just going to have to accept we needed her help.
When I got home she was sitting on the porch with a cold beer in her hand, she reached down and got one out of the cooler for me and handed it to me as I sat on the floor of the porch in front of her chair with my beer. We both sat quiet for a while.
"Everything will work out ok, Tyson." Nancy said.
"Thanks to you, beautiful," I told her.
"I'm just happy Thomas came to help us." She said. We finished our beer and went inside. After checking on the pups we said good night to Sussie who was watching a late movie and went up to bed.

SEBASTIAN'S POV

Tonight was the Beta Ceremony for Nole I was excited about it. My ministers on the other hand complained every chance they got that I was making a lowly werewolf my Beta. Some said they would down right refuse to take orders from him. Well, let them try I will demote them to omegas in a heartbeat. Nole was not just any werewolf he was to sit as Alpha King if something happened to Quin. He was also King Henry's grandson making him a prince and Bre a princess.
"Your Highness, the package you were asking about has just arrived." Minister Philip said coming into my office with a box. He passed it to me.
"Thank you Philip, tell me something, why have you not come to me complaining about Nole?" I asked him as I open the box and took out the contents.
"Your Highness, I don't understand what you mean," he said.
"Just about every other minister has come complaining about me making Nole my Beta. Yet you have not said a word about it." I told him holding up the medallion I was presenting to Nole tonight examining it.
"I have no issue with you make Nole your Beta, he is a good strong man, comes from a good family. It is my pleasure to serve under him." Philip said.
"I find it amusing that you my first minster would have no issue yet those under you have complained none stop and said they refuse to take orders from him." I said as I pulled out the two metals from the box. One was for Noles official uniform the other was actually for Philip for his fifty years of service to me.
"You need not worry about the others Your Highness, they will be delt with harshly. Let them not tow the line." Philip said. I smiled. This is why he had been my first minister for so long. He never questioned any decisions I had ever made, and he was not afraid to speak his mind or discipline those under him.
"Thank you Philip, remember you are to wear you dress uniform this evening. I told him.
"As you wish Your Highness, if you will excuse me I must check on things for tonight." He said and left. If only they all could be like him I would have a happy court.
