"Sasha, Henry, stay here!" Sebastian said.
All the men ran out the door and down the stairs. Grandmother ran after them yelling back, saying she would find Quin and the children. Grandfather and I sat on the couch waiting to hear from someone.
QUIN'S POV
We were sitting in my office when the sirens went off again. Rollin came running in as we were getting up.
"They have breached the gate," he yelled. Then, he ran back out. Lucas and I on his heals. When we got outside, there were at least 20 rogues.
"Rollin, go put all the children in the safe room with the nannies." I told him. He ran back into the castle. Lucas and I joined the fight. Two jumped me at once before I could shift. I was hurt. My leg was bleeding, and I'm sure one took a chunk out of my back. Lucas and one of the warriors grabbed the two of them. I grabbed out my phone. Where was Sasha? I called her phone just as she answered I was attacked from behind. My phone went flying, and I shifted. To fight the wolf that attacked me. When I killed him, I could not find my phone, and I passed out from losing so much blood I was not healing.
I was not sure what happened. But I woke up in dads pack hospital.
ALPHA COLT'S POV
I linked my best warriors to come with us to the foggy mist as we ran Sebastian opened the mist. I instructed ten to stay at the mist and only let in the people from the pack. I grabbed one of the warriors from the castle.
"Where is Quin?" I asked.
"I'm not sure, Alpha, I just came up from securing the children. Let me link my commander." He was quiet for a minute. Then he started running.
"Follow me, Alpha, the King is hurt badly." He said. Sebastian and I ran with him. We found
Three of the castles’ warriors protecting Quin fight off wolves that were trying to still attack him. They saw us and were going to attack. When the warrior with us told them not to attack us. I ran to Quin, and he was unconscious and bleeding.
"Why is he not healing?" I asked Sebastian.
"I don't know. we need to get him to the pack hospital now. Where is it?"
"They don't have one yet. They have been coming to ours. I told him. Sebastian picked him up and ran back to my pack hospital. I stayed until we had killed all but one of the rogues. I sent him to my dungeon. Rollin would take care of the clean-up. I went and got Sasha and took her to the ack hospital.
Quin was in surgery.
NANCY'S POV
When I woke up, I wanted to call mom and dad, but they would still be asleep. I would have to wait until two in the afternoon here before I called. Tyson was already up cooking breakfast. I was not feeling very hungry. The stairs were getting harder to go down now with my belly getting so big. Tyson heard me coming down and came over and helped me the rest of the way down.
"Good morning beautiful, breakfast is almost ready." He said.
"I'm really not very hungry." I told him.
"Are you still upset?" He asked, wrapping his arms around me.
"I want to talk to mom, but I can't call it. It is very late there; I will have to wait until this afternoon." I told him.
"Well, at least have some tea and toast." Tyson said. I nodded and went to sit at the table with him. He brought me my tea and made me toast. I was happy we had a bathroom on the main level. No sooner had I finished eating, and I had to go to the bathroom and throw up. Tyson ran in and saw I was being sick. He grabbed a towel and a glass of water for me as I sat on the bathroom floor. He pulled out his phone and called Leigh.
"Hi, Leigh, can you come to our suite Nancy is throwing up?" Tyson asked.
"Thank you," he said and hung up. Leigh is on her way up, beautiful." I laughed
"Right now, I'm anything but beautiful, Tyson." I told him. He picked me up with ease and took me out to the couch just as Leigh came in the door. She came over to me right away.
"Nancy, have you been feeling sick?" Leigh asked.
"No, it came out of nowhere while I was eating." I told her. She opened her doctors bag and examined me.
"You have a temperature. It is not high, but it is not good. Tyson, we need to take her to the hospital. I have to run some blood tests. I will go get the car." Leigh said as she packed up her bag. Tyson picked me up and followed her.
"Tyson, I can walk." I told him.
"What if I like carrying you?" He asked with a smile.
He gently put me in the front seat of the car and then got in the back. Leigh drove to the hospital in record time. She took us up to the fourth floor and had a nurse put me in a room. They gave me a hospital gown to put on. Once I was in bed, the nurse let Tyson in the room. Then she said she would be back.
"Tyson, I don't feel very good." I told him.
I guess my face turned white because he ran out of the room, yelling for the nurse. The room started spinning, and then I passed out.
TYSON'S POV
I ran to get the nurse Nancy had turned gray when she told me she did not feel good. I was only gone a minute. When I went back into the room, she looked like she was asleep. The nurse came running in.
"How long has she been like this?" She asked.
"I came back in the room and found her this way." I told her. She pushed a red button on the wall, and everyone came running in, including Leigh and Kristen. Leigh took me out of the room.
"No, I want to be with her." I growled.
"Tyson, let them do their job, please." Leigh said.
"What is wrong with Nancy?" I asked.
"We don't know yet. A nurse came running out of the room whispered something to Leigh.
"I have to go in there, Tyson. Please stay here." Leigh said as she ran to the room. Five minutes later, they came out rushing Nancy down the hallway. I went to follow but Kristen grabbed me.
"You can't go with her, Tyson. Go call Luke to come and wait with you." She said. Then she ran down the hall.
