CHAPTER 105
SASHA'S POV
Peace does not last forever in our world. It is like you're always waiting for the other shoe to fall. Quin, Lucas, and Nole went to Alpha Colts pack to go for a good run on the pack lands, letting their wolves run free when they were attacked by five rouges. None of them got hurt too bad. dad told them not to go without warriors from on. Then, in the middle of the gate, we had four guards hurt when rogues threw Molotov cocktails bombs over the metal gates Dad started investigating. The first question was how they knew they were out. It was a last-minute decision to go.
So, it had to be someone in our pack or dads. But why? was the main question. I think when Nancy called, I upset her. I thought she knew about not being able to fly.
"Quin, has your dad called with any information?" I asked.
"No, nothing, I don't understand it. I have been working with everyone on their requests." Quin said
"Well, whoever they are there is a mole in one of the packs. Have you noticed anyone acting differently?" I asked.
"No, not really, but I have been so busy with paperwork and the council you know how Lucas and I have been trying to set affairs settled." Quin said.
"The fact that it is rouges has me wondering if the Rouge King. Is up to something. " Lucas said.
"You would think he learned from last time." Quin said.
"Ah, but dear, King, you forget we had they Lycan King's army here now we don't." Lucas reminded Quin. I sat and listened to them. I, too, had a feeling it was the Rouge King, but now he was not after me but one or both of my girls. I dare not suggest it, Quin would I was going nuts or thing I was exaggerating.
Either way would not look good on me. I needed to go see grandmother and grandfather. I got up and told them I was checking the babies. Leaving them to speculate. I went and checked on the babies. The nannies said they just fed them, and they were sleeping. I called grandmother and asked if I could come and talk to them or if they were busy. Grandmother said she would come and get me. I did not expect her to be so quick. But there the car was waiting for me. By the time I got outside, the driver had the door open for me. We went through the fog and mist coming out at the Lycan Kings Castle. Grandmother was waiting for me.
"Sasha, we are all out in the garden. Come with me. We went to the back of the castle to the gardens. Grandfather was outside with Sebastian. I went over and hugged Grandfather and Sebastian, then grandmother, and I sat down to tea with them.
"Sasha, you sounded like you're upset about something. What is it?" Grandmother asked.
"You know about the attacks on Quin and the castle?" I asked.
"Yes, we just heard." Sebastian said.
"Have they any idea yet who it could be?" Grandfather asked.
"I personally think it's the Rouge King." I told them.
"But why would he after all this time?" Sebastian asked.
"You could be right. The girls are what fourteen now?" Grandmother asked.
"In two weeks." I said.
"Oh dear, this is very serious. Have you told Quin?" Sebastian asked. Grandfather had been very quiet. The Rouge King had led the attack on his pack many years ago.
"He will not believe me unless I have some kind of proof." I said.
"The girls will be of age they will have their wolves, and their powers will start to develop we need to go to Alpha Colt right away, Sebastian." Grandmother told him.
"You're right. We should go now. Sebastian said, getting up.
"I'm coming too," Grandfather said.
"No, Henry. You can not let anyone know you lived. Sebastian told him.
"I will be damaged if I just sit here and do nothing when my family is at risk. I'm perfectly healed. That bastard will not get my granddaughters." Grandfather said. He got up and walked over to me, taking my arm.
"Let's go, Sasha, it is about time I met this Alpha Colt." He said. I could see the worry on Sebastian and Grandmother's faces.
"We are wasting time just standing here." Grandfather said. Sebastian and Grandmother nodded. I opened a door to just in front of Alpha Colts' office. The four of us stepped through the doorway. Then the door disappeared. Grandfather knocked on Alpha's door. Then, he walked in. We followed. Alpha Colt and Robert were in shock
They both bowed.
"Get up, boys. I'm not king anymore. Your son is Colt." Grandfather said, chuckling.
"How?" Robert asked.
"A story for another time." Grandfather told them.
"We came to talk about the Rouge King." Sebastian said. Alpha Colt and Robert looked at each other.
"What about him?" Alpha Colt asked.
"We are sure he is behind the attacks." I said.
"Why would he attack now? He has nothing to gain from it."
"That is where you are wrong, Alpha Colt. He is after my granddaughters. They are of age now, they may not be able to shift for another year, but they have their wolves." Grandfather told him.
"They are only fourteen, is that not too young?" Robert asked.
"Not if your parents are the King and the Orcel." Sebastian said.
"What about Sasha? Why did she and Nole, for that matter, not get their wolves until 18?" Colt asked.
"Their father never met his true mate. Their mother was human." Grandmother said.
"Are you telling me he wants to mate with them?" Robert asked.
"He wants the power he can obtain from them." Grandfather said.
"How can we stop him?" Colt asked.
My phone started to ring, it was Quin. I excused myself and went out into the hallway to answer it.
"Quin?" I said. All I could hear were the sirens going off.
"Quin????" I yelled into the phone and got nothing but the sirens going off. And someone fighting. I ran back into the office and put the phone on speaker.
"Quin,” I told them. Now, there were wolves fighting and the sirens. Someone picked up Quin's phone.
"Sasha, get to Alpha Colt's. The children are safe go now."
"Rollin, what is going on there." I asked, but the phone went quiet.
