Lena POV 

I felt sick but Aaron and the rest were beside me to make sure I was fine.

I felt pampered as they took care of me but I knew they were grooming me for tomorrow, after the games.

I'd gone to the rinks, to play with the players, appreciated Aaron and yes, Adam showed up but just a brief seconds.

Like he was being chased. Yet his eyes didn't leave me for a fleeting seconds.

I guess that's why he doesn't want me, because of his brothers, they'd hurt him and it's best we maintained this distance.

Well, except if Athena wants to spend time with her.

I'd returned back to the palace as usual but then only got hit by something cold and unwelcoming.

A grunt slipped from my lips as I raised my face to see the raging bitch before me.

Two guards at position ran to hold her back but I gestured to them to leave because this was between me.

"You lied! I know I saw you! And now you made the boys burn my properties!"

I scoffed at her, my eyes brimming as she looked furious the more.

Stepping closer, I lowered my lips to her ears and said;

"I told you not to mess with you. You took my players, tarnished my image on social media, do you think I'd let you go?"

She grunt pushing me back and I slapped her in defense.

"I've let you touch me with your filthy hands, now that grace is over!" I barked at her.

She was too startled to speak.

"If you don't want me to execute you in front of them, you had better accept the condition I offer. You know I'm the only one who can really save you from the boys"

Her palm was rubbed her cheek as she gnashed her teeth.

"You aren't even the alpha yet, just a mere title that can be taken away!"

"If I win the games and I am going to win it!" I retort as she mellowed down, like a stray dog which had been taught her place.

"What's the condition?" She surrendered and a wicked smile crept on my lips.

"Leave the palace and I don't want to see you at the rink tomorrow" I petitioned narrowing my eyes at her.

She went still as her jaw dropped.

"I have to support Aaron!"

Oh, the Aaron that doesn't even value her?

"The Aaron who cheats on you with another?"

She was fuming now, hands clenched like she'd punch me in the face for that.

"No! He wouldn't!" She protested as I heaved a sigh.

"Want me to show you evidence?"

"I don't believe. Besides you claim the video of omega onslaughter was a lie when you and I know you posted it"

I broke into a chuckle and then curved my lips upward.

"Prove it. You and me. Who do the boys believe?" I asked running my fingers through her button and pulled a chip.

She was recording. Really bitch. She gasped, petrified to know how I knew.

Thanks to Athena, she'd signal me first, to watch my words.

"Me. If the rest doesn't Aaron will!" She fought back, I'd sensed fear in her voice now.

"Oh, where was he when the boys were destroying your properties..."

"The court won't take this likely"

I crossed my arms over my chest as she'd seem like one who had power over me.

"Really?" I muttered as she sounded funny.

If only she knew I had the council's decisions in my hand. The contract I'd made the boys sign indicates they submit every crime sheet relating to the council.

Ace who'd always have a reason to ask why did. I just simply told them, I needed to know who I was working with.

Anyone who goes against my suggestion, I'd hold him accountable for their crimes and when it's out, the public will come at them.

They wouldn't want that.

"Oh I see, Daddy little's girl have been planning huh? To set up a meeting to talk about this"

"You're a witch! Watch what the council does to an alpha who's not yet coronated. You touched my father's assets! You'd definitely pay" she confidently lashed, as her anger brewed up as tears in her eyes.

Now I'm definitely acting like Adam and she hates that.

"Xandra!!" A husky matured voice called. I didn't need to look but then xandra ran to him.

Her father.

I stood where I was and turned slight to look at him.

"Dad? Why are you here alone? I thought you were coming with the council members"

Her father glanced at me and gave a bow, baffling his daughter who lost her breath.

"I'm sorry alpha, for my daughter's behavior. We wouldn't mess with you again"

She tried form words, her eyes widened.

"Dad, what are you doing? She isn't even the alpha properly! She let her brother's..."

"Shut up!!" He silenced her making xandra flinched as she looked at him, like he was a different person entirely.

"Apologize to the alpha"

"I won't!"

I watched their little drama as her father scolded her. She wouldn't even look at me because of shame.

"Do it all you'd have all of us locked in jail!" He whispered but it was loud enough to be heard by another.

When she'd turn to look at me, there was tears in her eyes, and there was a smile on my lips.

"Apologize! Don't put us in more trouble! Spoilt girl!"

I doubt if he had ever shouted on her and she looked too heartbroken.

She bowed her head, slightly, that was forced on her.

"Sorry Lena"

"She has a title!" Her father screeches as I rolled my eyes, still waiting for her correction.

"I'm sorry alpha Lena!!" She yelled turning her back against me and began to run away.

"I will send you the video of Aaron!!" I screamed just so she she'd hear me and she raised her middle finger at my face.
