Chapter 19 Be my boyfriend

He stared at Vivian, whose beauty rivaled Lily's, and with a figure even more alluring. Could it be that she actually knew the necklace was the Heart of Ocean, but didn't mention it and instead wanted him to be her boyfriend? Or was it for tonight...

Could it be that this beauty was lonely and longing?

Should he accept or not accept?

Thinking about the recent encounter, he felt incredibly frustrated and held his breath!

He decided to just agree.

However, Vivian continued, "Here's the thing, I have a classmate gathering tonight, but... there's a guy who wants to pursue me, and I find him annoying. I want you to pretend to be my boyfriend and resolve the trouble for me. I just don't know if you're willing or not."

Vivian knew that George had been married before. Due to her recognition of his character, she made this request. She wouldn't be at ease if she were to ask someone else instead.

George was momentarily stunned but smiled, "So, I'll be your scapegoat. No problem, I will help you with this favor."

After speaking, he glanced at her enticing figure.

For some reason, he felt a twinge of regret.

Uh... what was he thinking!

Just then, Lily called.

This was already the thirteenth call from her, but George didn't want to pick up any of them. Whenever he thought of her nodding, he felt extremely frustrated.

So, he simply turned off his phone!

Vivian saw everything and smiled as she said, "George, what's going on between you and your wife? Until now, haven't you two been intimate?"

George's expression froze, "Did Daisy tell you?"

Vivian nodded.

George replied irritably, "She's the most gossip-mongering person. Why haven't I seen her today?"

Vivian shook her head, "I don't know. I heard she accidentally got injured and took sick leave."

George laughed and understood why she took sick leave.

That night, she was slapped so hard by the security guard at Starry Jewelry that her face turned swollen like a pig. Later, she got into a fight with her greasy boyfriend, probably getting injured!

Serves her right!

Vivian said, "Actually, I think you should have an open and honest conversation with your wife. If you can make it work, then live a good life together. If you can't, it's better to divorce. Your current relationship situation is holding both of you back."

George forced a bitter smile, not knowing how to respond.

Finally it was six o’clock, Vivian could leave work.

She asked George to wait for a moment while she changed her clothes.

Ten minutes later, when they met again, George couldn't believe his eyes.

At this moment, Vivian had taken off her white coat and changed into a black striped pencil skirt. Her long hair was let down, revealing her slender legs, and she wore the Heart of Ocean necklace.

She was simply the goddess of all goddesses.

Especially considering her extraordinary figure, wearing this outfit, she was truly...a man's poison.

Clearly, she had prepared this outfit in advance for today's reunion.

Seeing George looking dumbfounded, Vivian blushed and said, "What are you staring at? Are you dumbstruck?"

George wiped his chin, thinking he had drooled, "Dr. Tudson, you are...too beautiful."

She grunted, "From now on, you'll pretend to be my boyfriend and call me Vivian."

"Okay!"

The two of them left.

When they got on the elevator, it was particularly crowded.

When they reached the fifth floor, a delivery person rushed in, pushing the crowd forcefully. Vivian lost her balance and fell back, bumping into George.

In that instant, George felt happiness knocking on his door.

He couldn't help but think, could it be that his earlier misfortune is a blessing in disguise?

Vivian wanted to move away from him, but she couldn't. Her face blushed with embarrassment.

They continued being in this state of embarrassment and awkwardness until they reached the ground floor.

When they stepped out of the elevator, Vivian glared at him and whispered, "If you continue to cause trouble, I'll teach you a lesson!"

George felt wronged, "Yao...Vivian, you can't blame me. You stole my thunder."

At half-past five, the two of them arrived at a restaurant called Culinary Delights Eatery. There weren't many people here, but all the cars parked outside were luxury cars, some of them were even worth a few worth millions.

"Culinary Delights Eatery, the second most expensive place in Riverdale."

"Your class reunion is being held here, and everyone seems to be wealthy!"

George said with a smile.

Vivian rolled her eyes, "There's an annoying guy who's treating us tonight, the class enemy you have to deal with."

George responded with a nod, immediately understanding who that person was.

"So it's the one pursuing Vivian," he thought to himself.

Just then, someone called out from behind them, "Vivian!"

A young man in a suit appeared, looking thin and nervous, yet excited at the same time.

"You're... Liam?" George asked.

"Yes, yes, you actually remember me! I'm so glad. And who is..." Liam looked at George, feeling a bit awkward.

It was apparent that Liam was a bit shy, avoiding direct eye contact with Vivian.

George noticed that Liam's suit wasn't anything extravagant, just an ordinary one that seemed slightly faded from washing which is an indication of his limited financial means.

Vivian introduced, "This is my friend, George."

"Hello, hello. I'm Liam," he greeted.

George gave a slight handshake, saying, "Nice to meet you."

Vivian couldn't help but gossip, "Liam, are you here alone? Didn't you say you found a girlfriend?"

"We broke up! And this... is your boyfriend, right?" Liam replied.

Vivian smiled and linked her arm with George's, confirming his question.

However, George could sense something unusual from the touch on his arm, causing his steps to feel unsteady.

Liam glanced at George and sighed inwardly.

As a male classmate who had a secret crush, how could he not feel melancholy knowing that the class goddess had a boyfriend?

Later on.

Guided by the waiter, they quickly arrived at the private room for their class reunion. As soon as Liam entered the room, he excitedly exclaimed, "Ding dong ding dong, classmates, look who I brought!"

Someone immediately shouted, "Liam, what are you making a fuss about? Why are you so excited? I'll believe it when you bring Vivian, Vivian, the goddess."

Just as those words were spoken, Vivian entered from behind, greeting everyone with a smile, "Hello, everybody!"

In the next moment, the room erupted into boisterous cheers and shouts from the men.

"Vivian, Vivian, the goddess, is it really you?"

"Ah, our class's number one goddess, it's been so long. We've missed you."

"Come, come, sit next to Noah. Noah has been missing you, he was just talking about whether you'd come or not!"

"This meal is Noah's treat, or else we wouldn't be able to afford Culinary Delights Eatery. I heard it's the best restaurant owned by the Fonda Group."

The crowd cheered and encouraged Vivian to sit next to Noah, which made her expressions a bit awkward.

George followed behind Vivian and glanced at Noah, who exuded an air of sophistication and composure. His eyes were fixed on Vivian without restraint, filled with a sense of superiority.

Just then, a female voice came from behind, "Hey, hey, hey, you bunch of smelly men! You guys claim Vivian to be your goddess, but what about me, Miranda? Am I not?"

"Who is your goddess?"

It was a slightly chubby woman who came, with an average appearance. While speaking, she forcefully pushed George aside and disdainfully said, "Get out of my way, cleaner. Roll out quickly. I'll call for you when I need your service. You have no eyesight at all."

George furrowed his brows slightly.

Vivian grabbed George's arm and complained, "Miranda, he's not a cleaner. He's my boyfriend."

Miranda was taken aback, "Boyfriend?"

At the same moment, Noah's eyes were filled with cold hostility.
