Dream Walking

'You need to call him,' Ashley said, startled by my thoughts.

'How can I do that?' I asked, feeling a surge of anxiety.

'He is our mate, dear. He will know that you are longing for him.' I hesitated, unsure of how to approach him after so long. But Ashley's words reassured me, and I mustered up the courage to reach out to him.

'I don't want him to think I'm desperate,' I replied, my voice filled with uncertainty. Ashley smiled reassuringly and said, 'Calling him doesn't necessarily mean you're desperate. It's just a way to express your feelings and let him know that you miss him.' Taking a deep breath, I decided to follow Ashley's advice.

'We have a goal to understand how dream walking works. It's just a trail. Think about our goal of getting to know about your parents.' Ashley reminds me of my ultimate purpose for wanting to reach out to our mate.

'Okay, I will call him. How do I do that?' I asked, eager to take Ashley's advice. Ashley pulled out her phone and began explaining the steps to me, making sure I understood each one. She emphasised the importance of being genuine and honest when expressing my feelings to him.

I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm my racing heart.

Looking at the moon "Max I am waiting for you. I hope you can understand the significance of this moment for me," I whispered. The moonlight seemed to amplify the anticipation and nervousness that filled the air. I could feel Ashley's supportive presence beside me, giving me the courage I needed to finally open up to Max. With her guidance, I knew I was ready to take this leap of faith and be vulnerable with him.

I waited some more time, yet he did not arrive.

"I want to exit. How do I exit?" I asked Ashley. Alone tear rolled down my cheek as I realized Max may never show up. With Ashley's comforting hand on my shoulder, I took a deep breath and decided to leave.

"I don't want to keep waiting if he's not coming." Ashley looked at me sympathetically and replied, "Sometimes, we have to make tough decisions for our own well-being. If you feel like it's time to leave, trust your instincts and do what feels right for you."

I looked at the beautiful moon. I wanted to see him once. Maybe he was not asleep enough to reach me.

I took a deep breath and made up my mind. "You're right, Ashley," I said with determination. "I think it's time for me to go. Waiting any longer won't change anything." With a mix of sadness and relief, I turned away from the moonlit night and began to walk towards the hill, ready to let go of the anticipation and nervousness that had consumed me for far too long.

As I began to walk, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders. The cool night air brushed against my face, bringing a sense of clarity and freedom. I knew that by leaving, I was finally taking control of my own happiness and moving forward with my life.

When I woke up, it was almost noon.

"What the hell?" I quickly realized that I had overslept, and panic started to set in as I frantically checked the time. I felt so exhausted and drained.

“You tried to dream walk?” Elizibeth asked as if she knew what I was doing yesterday.

“Yeah. It’s a failure.” I sighed. I slumped into the sofa.

“You can try on me. We are both near each other. We can try under anyone’s supervision.”

Elizibeth raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the idea. "Maybe we can figure out what went wrong together," she suggested with a smile.

"Plus, it could be fun to explore dream walking together," I added, feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of sharing this experience with her. Elizibeth nodded in agreement, her curiosity piqued as we both contemplated the possibilities of what we could discover.

As we sat there discussing our plan, I couldn't help but feel grateful for her willingness to help me through this. It was comforting to know that I wasn't alone in trying to unravel the mystery of my failed attempt at dream walking.

“My wolf wants to meet him,” I said the truth.

Elizabeth's eyes widened in surprise at my revelation, a mixture of concern and intrigue crossing her face. It was clear that she was fully invested in this journey with me, ready to face whatever challenges may come our way.

“And you?” Elizibeth’s question had raised numerous doubts. I hesitated, unsure of how to answer. Elizabeth's offer to help with dream walking made me feel both relieved and anxious at the same time.

"I...I'm not sure," I finally admitted, feeling a wave of uncertainty wash over me. Elizabeth nodded understandingly, her expression softening with compassion.

"Take your time," she said gently, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

"He might want to see you. Why don't you call him?" Elizabeth suggested, her eyes filled with curiosity.

I appreciated Elizabeth's concern, but the thought of reaching out to him made my heart race with apprehension. Despite my inner turmoil, I knew deep down that Elizabeth was right - it was time to face my fears and confront the past.

"I like him. He is my mate. I want him to understand that I'm a person and that I need my place and independence in this relationship. He needs to accept me for who I am. He rejected me first and then started accepting me. Now he wants to mark me because I have a wolf. I can't trust him. I want to know if he truly cares about me or just sees me as a possession. I need to figure out where I stand with him before moving forward in this relationship."

"You know what you want. Yet you cannot defend the bond."

"You need to have an open and honest conversation with him about your feelings and concerns. Both of you need to communicate openly and establish boundaries in the relationship."

"Uhm," Aira said, listening silently to Elizibeth's words.

"Many Luna's have been attacked in the last few months. Few people died because of their brutal attacks. Many alphas are restless; a few went mad with grief and anger. The pack needs unity and strength to protect their own."

"Alpha, it's best you mark her." "Alpha, it's crucial for the safety of Luna and the pack that you mark her as soon as possible. This will establish your bond and protect her from potential threats." his beta advice

Max's face was cold he had seen the consequences of delaying the marking process before. "I will take care of it," Max responded, determination in his voice.

"No one can find her in the coven. It is well protected." Max's words were met with a nod of approval from the beta, who knew the importance of keeping Luna safe. The alpha's responsibility weighed heavily on his shoulders as he prepared to mark her and solidify their bond.

"She hates me." Max's voice was filled with regret as he thought about Aira's feelings towards him. Despite her resistance, he knew that marking her was necessary for both their safety and well-being. He vowed to do whatever it took to win her trust and protect her from any harm.

"Court her." The beta's suggestion caught Max off guard, but he knew it was the right thing to do. He needed to show Aira that his intentions were genuine and that he would always put her needs first. Max made a mental note to start courting her in a way that would make her feel loved and cherished.

Alpha Luis gathered his most trusted men in the heart of the pack territory, his voice carrying the weight of authority and determination. "I need every available resource dedicated to finding out about the white wolf," he commanded, his gaze piercing through the assembled warriors.

His eyes locked with each of theirs, conveying the seriousness of the situation and the importance of their mission. The pack knew that this task was crucial for their survival and unity.

The urgency in his tone left no room for hesitation as Alpha Luis reiterated the importance of the task at hand. "This is not a request; it is an order," he declared, his words echoing with the force of his resolve.

The men, seasoned warriors loyal to their Alpha, nodded in silent acknowledgment of their leader's directive. Each understood the significance of uncovering information about the mysterious white wolf that had emerged in their territory.

With a sense of purpose and determination, Alpha Luis's men dispersed, scattering like shadows into the depths of the forest. Their mission was clear: to uncover the truth behind the enigmatic creature that had captured their Alpha's attention.

As they ventured forth into the unknown, Alpha Luis's words lingered in their minds, fueling their determination to succeed. They knew that the task ahead would not be easy, but they were prepared to face any challenge in service to their pack and their Alpha.

"Alpha, we have tortured available Luna; no one is a white wolf. "

"Alpha, we must proceed with caution," one of the men whispered as they crept through the dense foliage. The group remained silent, their senses heightened as the Alpha Luis Aura suppressed them for submission.

Alpha Luis's aura of power and dominance hung heavy in the air, pushing the pack members to stay focused and alert. They knew that failure was not an option, as their Alpha's expectations were high and they were determined to prove their loyalty.

"Any suggestions?" he asked in a cold and commanding tone, his piercing gaze scanning the group for any signs of weakness. The pack members exchanged nervous glances before one finally spoke up, suggesting a new strategy to track down the elusive white wolf.

"Maybe she is not a Luna? Perhaps she is a lone wolf, seeking refuge or independence away from a pack. We should consider all possibilities before moving forward with our plan."

"Let's wait till the full moon, spread the spies in every corner of the forest, and then we strike," he declared, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. The pack members nodded in agreement, ready to execute the plan with precision and determination.

"She will shift into her wolf form under the full moon, and that's when we'll have our chance to capture her," another member added confidently. The tension in the air was palpable as they prepared for the upcoming mission.
