      \[TWO DAYS LATER\]

“Guess what kids?” Miguel asked his kids as he drops a plate of pancakes and fruit juice.

“Just tell it to us already, Daddy,” Scott pouted taking a slice from the pancake.

“Can’t you at least guess?” He teased while the kids shook their heads.

“No Daddy, all we can think about is the pancakes on our table,” Scarlett whined, Miguel chuckles.

“Okay, okay, I’m taking to the amusement park after you’re done eating, isn’t that exciting?” He finally spilled the bean.

“Yayhhhh! That’s going to be fun, we should finish this food quickly,” Skyler suggested happily and the other two followed him, they started rushing their foods.

“Take it easy, don’t let that food choke you. The amusement park isn’t running away?” Miguel cautioned them but none of them were listening to him.

Adriana walked in from the balcony, “Miguel?” She called diverting Miguel’s attention to her.

“Yes, my darling?” Miguel answered her.

“Dora just called me, she said she’s coming over for a visit. I don’t think I would be following you to the amusement park,” Adriana told him while Miguel moved closer to her.

“Oh really? It would be nice for me to know her better or should we cancel today’s outing? We-“

“If you and I agrees to it, the kids will never agree to it, they’ve got their minds on it already and I don’t think nothing can change that,” Adriana mumbled and Miguel nod in agreement.

Miguel shrugs his shoulders and said, “Okay, Okay, Tell Dora I said Hi.” He walks back to the kids who were done with their foods.

“We are ready Daddy!” They chorused.

“I will get my car keys, coming,” He said to them, went to take the keys and came back.

“Bye mummy!”

“We love you mummy!” They waved at her and she did the same till they walked out.

“Take care of the house okay, I love you,” Miguel muttered and kissed her forehead before heading out.

Adriana breathed out with a smile and went into the kitchen, “what should I cook for Dora when she comes? Hmm, yeah! Creamy noodles and beef sauce,” She nod.

Few minutes later, she was already chopping the onions and vegetables when the door bell rang, “Oh my, is she here already? Damn! I’m not done cooking?” She muttered and went for the door.

“Dora? Is that you-“ When she opened the door, an unfamiliar spray filled her nostrils instead.

Before Adriana fathom what was going on, she started feeling dizzy and not long after she passed out.

Miguel was still on his way to the amusement park , the kids asleep at the passenger seat.

All of a sudden a white pulled over in front of his car making Miguel step on the breaks abruptly. “Fuck! Who the hell is the driver, huh?” He hissed and got down from his car but before he could go closer to the car, it drove away.

Miguel shook his head and went back into his car, “I don’t know why-“ his words got cut mid-way when he looked at the rear view mirror and his kids are no where to be found.



(Unknown Area- A Building under construction)

A lady’s high heels could be heard from a distant and it became louder when it got close. “Where are they?” She asked one of the guys standing at the door way.

“She’s inside with the kids, Are you sure you wanna do this?” One of the guys replied her but she rolled her eyes and pull out her gun.

“Get your boys out of here, I will take care of it myself,” She instructed dangling the gun in her index finger.

The guys did as told and they left, “Time, Time to play it the way I want it, it’s time for your revenge, Jessica,” She whispered to herself and she opened the door.

“I knew it was you! You wench! What do you get from doing all this?!” Adriana snapped when she saw Jessica coming in.  

Adriana has been tied to a pole with chain on her hand and legs.

Jessica let out an hysterical laugh, “I gave  you too many chances to redeem yourself but what did you do? You chose to walk into your doom and this is it,” Jessica mumbled to her 

“Let go of my kids! Don’t involve them in this, it’s me you want right? Isn’t it?” Adriana said while Jessica shook her head.

“No, no, no, it’s not fun if I don’t bring those little things that brought you and Miguel together. Hehehe, nothing will do them,” Jessica teased.

“I hate you!” Adriana yelled as tears dropped then the door burst open and Miguel came in with worry written over his face.

“Adriana!” He yelled and wanted to run over to her but halted when Jessica fired her gun into the air.

“Stop right there! How dare you Miguel! I even killed Fred for you! You’re mean!” Jessica screamed furiously.

Miguel balled his fist, “I never asked you to do that? You did it all for your selfish interest. You know I don’t love you so why are you hell bent on it?” Miguel snapped but that only infuriates Jessica.

“I make you regret saying that- She’s going to die! “ She was about pulling the trigger at Adriana when  the door flung opened.

“Don’t! Don’t shoot your sister! She’s your sister!” Mrs Alberto screamed helplessly with a DNA test results with her.
