Chapter 64 - Dead!

Susan's POV.

“What do you mean she's gone?” I asked, turning to the exact spot where she danced, and behold, she was nowhere to be found.

“What? She isn't there anymore, Christo, we need to find her.” I pretended to show concern but deep down, the joy which erupted from the bottom of my heart was of no measure to any in my life. My foe was captured and she would be dead any time soon. Oh, my dear Isabel.

“Shut the gates!” Christopher ordered and the rest of the pack members who were outside rushed in and had it shut. Everyone wondered and murmured in fear. Noble, the Celebrant came to us at our point, confused.

“I don't understand, what's the meaning of all this?” He asked.

“It's Luna, she's nowhere to be found,'’ Chris answered as he walked past Noble who accompanied him.

“Look, there must be a mistake somewhere, I know I'm telling you, Wolf, you guys have to let the party continue while I double my men to aid in her search, she could be somewhere around, perhaps the study or the music room or maybe.”

“Where are they?” Christo asked, curious and scared.

“First floor.” He answered.

“Good, Mike take two men and me with your eyes on the ground, any signal or suspicious movements, you bring it to my notice. Jeremy, take the back door and begin the search from the backyard, while myself and the rest would be upstairs in search of her, understood?”

“Alright, ahead.”

He almost forgot I had stood there with them for a while.

“Susan?”

“Yes.”

“Make sure you keep your eyes on the ground, look for your friend, the other Lady whom you were with at the time we arrived, what's her name again?”

“You mean Calli…”

“Whatever, let's move.” He ordered three men as they took to the stairs.

I pretended to search for her too but went to a hidden corner and gave me a call.

“Baby girl.”

“Hey, what are you doing? We're almost ready for the kill.”

“What? You should wait, she isn't going to die just like that.”

“What do you mean, just like that?”

“Susan, you're the master planner of all these, you know by right I'm supposed to take the kill and not you, it's my responsibility and at least she has to reveal some certain truths.”

Just as we talked on the phone I realized footsteps coming from the other side of the lobby and I ended the call. I bet this whole DarkVille dominance wouldn't last forking, at least Damon would get to know of it and that was a duty for either myself or his Beta.

I walked straight to the bathroom where I heard some noise, it was a loud moan and these idiots didn't even think it wise to keep their mouths shut while having their sex. It was so loud.

I put a call through to her again at the toilet.

“Hello, where are you guys?”

“We're headed at the outskirts of the town, has the chaos begun?”

“No, not yet, at least they haven't known her whereabouts.”

I heard gunshots come from outside the bathroom and I ended the call for the second time, it seemed the chaos had begun.

The DarkVille wolves were now in some kind of battle with the Wolves of Hilton and as usual, they were no match for us here. Not even close. I stayed put in panic as I wondered what my fate would be. I listened attentively and the bastards in the other bathroom were still having their sex without knowing what was happening outside here. That was how blinded sex could make these youths unconscious.

I ran off the bathroom and peeped through the female convenience, Christopher's men were in a serious conflict in the ballroom as they challenged them for usurping authority over the resident pack.

“Take him on his knees,” Christo commanded as one of the wolves was held steady by the Other DarkVille wolves and a gun was pointed at his mouth.

“Where is she?!” He asked.

“I don't fucking know what you're talking about.”

“What?”

“I said I have no idea.”

Christo almost pulled the trigger but I ran off to the spot. The rest of the people in the ballroom for the birthday party were all on the ground. In fear and panic.

“No, Christopher, don't!”

I rushed and stood in front, my heart racing as I stared into his eyes.

“What are you doing?”

“Trying to find the Luna queen.”

“By pointing a gun at the innocent man?”

“I didn't just point a gun at him, I would have pulled the fucken trigger.”

“Christo this is insane, you have to understand these men are innocent.”

“Innocent you say! Do you know what it means to return to DarkVille without her at hand, dead or alive? The last time we found her wasn't it by the grace of the moon goddess?”

“Chris, I've searched for her everywhere, but she is nowhere to be found, maybe she could have ridden outside with one of the SUVs, remember shelves solitude most times.

“Susan, you still don't get it, as I'm speaking to you the Alpha has heard of the whole thing, it was by his orders that my Men and I are doing this.”

“What?!”

“Yes, I can't go against him and he has given direct orders to make sure Isabel comes back to him in one piece else he'll end the bloodline of the Hilton pack, as I speak to you his flight is already on air has been revered, they'll have an emergency landing in few minutes and he may come down here himself.”

It was at that point that it downed me. If I had known I wouldn't have thought of this, now the whole pack and also innocent friends who came to join my cousin, Noble to celebrate with him were in danger.

I decided I run off to a secret room and there I made a video call instead of the regular voice call that was carried out.

“Hey, baby girl, you decided to do a video call instead?” Calli asked

“Calli, I don't have much time. Listen attentively to me, it seems we'll abort the mission, Damon is mad and would never give up till she is found. As I speak with you he's sending almost the whole pack down to Hilton and you know what that means.”

“What are you talking about Susan? Why tell us now, we already have the job done.”

“Job? What job?” I asked as she turned the video call towards Jason who held a sword in his hands and it was stoned with blood already.

“Hello Susan, the job is done.”

I kept on thinking of what both meant till Calli took the camera closer to the ground; Behold her lifeless body in the pool of her blood, she was beheaded already, ISABEL WAS DEAD.
