CHAPTER 28

Cammy sucked in a deep breath as she took a look at him . She could tell from his heavy breathing that he was seconds away from lashing out on her and she had to play it cool.

But she didn't even know or understand why he was so upset at her. “I am leaving.” She said to him in a calm tone. She watched as he let out a loud venous growl that caused a shiver to run down her spine.

"and why would you do that? Do you really expect that you could come here and announce that you ran off with my daughter and you would think that I would simply allow you to go.” He howled as he took large strides towards her.

She was taken aback for a moment but she didn't have enough time to move away from him as he was quick to close up the distance between them again. “You aren't going anywhere. I am not going to let you”. He said to her in a hissing tone.

She tried to pull away from him again as she sent him a deep glare. "well that isn't up to you. As you can see this arrangement of ours isn't working out. I can't stay with you any longer. I have to go back to my old life and try to get back to normal. I can't live with you forever”. She said to him in a hissing tone.

She watched as several emotions flashed before his eyes as a smirk made its way onto his features. “You really do enjoy teasing me don't you. Like I told you you aren't going anywhere. And your business is my business. It had been my business from the moment I learnt you were my mate and even more so now that I know that you were keeping things from me.” He said to her in a welcoming tone.

She gulped as she felt a sense of anger fome over her. She wasn't going to allow him to get to her and she refused to apologize for keeping her daughter a secret from him. “I kept my daughter away from you because I wanted her to live a happy life. I didn't want her to know that her father was a monster and he was the one who had thrown us out”. He said to him in a hissing tone.

She watched as he sighed as his eyes flashed a golden color once more. He knew that she was right. “That wasn't my fault I had a reason for what I did and if I had known that you were pregnant at the time I would have never gone through with it. It would have never done anything to hurt you.” he said to her firmly.

But she didn't believe him . She never would again. “Don't you get it. It doesn't matter what you say or do to me now. It doesn't matter how well you cover up your flaws, I will not believe you . I don't trust you anymore and I never will. You have already managed to ruin that for me. So I guess maybe what I should be telling you is congratulations”. She said to him in a butter tone.

“You may hate me all you want but the last thing that you will do is to leave me.” He said to her in a hissing tone. He watched as her eyes swirled with several emotions as she sent him a light smirk.

“Oh really. And how do you plan on-” she started to say but she was cut off when she felt him lean in and pull her close and without warning he slammed his lips against her own. She felt her skin warm up to the feeling and she felt her body shudder when she felt these sparks ignite inside of her.

She found herself struggling to function as the only thing that she found herself able to think of was the feeling of his lips loving against her own. She had missed this. She had found herself missing it for a long time. And yet now that it would happen if she didn't know how to feel.

She tried to resist him for a moment but she found herself quickly losing the battle to it. As she slowly gave in. She felt almost embarrassed how easily she had let him take over and after a few minutes she felt him slowly pull away for her. She didn't miss the deep smirk that was on his features but for her she felt as though she was going to throw up.

She couldn't believe that she had allowed him to do that to her. She felt sick as her hand trembled and she raised her hand to touch her swollen lips.

“You see. Your face may deny it and your tongue may do it too but your body never will. You are mine and the only place that you belong is right here with me". He said to her and she didn't miss the possessive growl that he let out at the end.

She felt a sudden sense of anger come over her as she closed up the space that was between the two of them. She reached out her hand into the air and without another thought she landed a firm slap against his cheek.

She watched as his face turned towards the side and she tried to control the tears that threatened to spil l from her eyes. “How dare you. Declare me as your s and kiss me without my consent”. Sue roared.

He didn't say anything at first before she watched as he let out a light chuckle from his lips and he was quick to fix his jaw. “We are mates after all.” He said to her.

She was done with this. She was done with him. She didn't answer him again after that. Without warning she grabbed the hold of her suitcase as she began to make her way towards the door.

“If you try to follow me I will disappear and you will never see me again." she hissed at him. She turned to look at him one last time as she watched the smirk slowly call off his features.

“Take one last good look at me because this will be the last time that you see me. If you try to interfere I will not hesitate to sever our ties with each other for good.” She said to him.
