Ray, rest ....

Ray looked at me and tried to explain, "Naina, don't think too much about it. Hans is a bit peculiar, and maybe the nickname is too exaggerated for him!" He said instantly.

I thought about it again. It was too extraordinary! How could his nickname be too exaggerated? Hans was another living legend!

What's really going on here, I wondered.

Legends gathered here! It was amazing.

Ray and Hans, both of them were not ordinary people. And it seemed that the little girl was also not ordinary.

"Huh! Brother, you're ruining everyone's fun. You're so jealous that you don't let them enjoy the nickname. Aren't you just envious?" Hans said in a playful tone.

Seeing Hans' behavior, Ray just shook his head, treating him the same way he treated Mity.

"But you can trust him, Naina. His hands are truly extraordinary!" Ray said again.

Hearing Ray say that, Hans felt delighted. "Wow, Brother, amazing! Did love change you? Previously, you never praised anyone," Hans said while trying to hug Ray.

However, Ray quickly stopped him by pushing Hans' face away.

"Pffft!" Seeing their antics, I chuckled softly.

At that moment, I accidentally looked at Mity, and she seemed lost in thought. Our eyes briefly

met. Although it was only for a moment, I saw her displeasure directed towards me. But quickly, Mity tried to change her expression.

Mity suddenly lifted her head cheerfully and agilely, "Oh no! How could I forget? I have a class today! Since you don't mind, I'll go now! See you later!"

"Hey, Mity, where are you going? Wait for me!" Hans said while running after her.

Hans still had time to tease Ray, "Good luck, Bro!"

"Go away!" Ray replied with a hint of annoyance, kicking Hans' behind.

Hans was slightly surprised by Ray's kick, but he quickly continued his steps to chase after Mity. His face was full of enthusiasm and joy, as if he was unaffected by Ray's teasing.

"Ouch!" Ray groaned while holding the part of his body that was kicked by Ray. Although it seemed painful, Hans continued his efforts to chase Mity with unwavering enthusiasm.

As Hans chased after Mity, their voices became fainter in the distance. I saw Mity look back with a frustrated and hurried expression.

"Hey, you cruel girl, wait for me!" Ray called out, shaking his head.

Mity turned with a sharp gaze and angrily retorted, "Don't follow me, you parrot! Stay away from me!"

Hans grinned mischievously and casually replied, "Hey, don't be angry. You'll age quickly!"

Mity exclaimed in frustration, "Hans!"

This scene made me smile. They looked like children playfully bickering. Despite their banter, I could see a strong bond and familiarity between them.

Their voices slowly faded away, and there I was, with Ray and my parents. Just like before, silence filled the room.

"Thank goodness, those two troublemakers are gone," Ray said, flashing his smile in front of me.

I smiled back at Ray.

As I looked at Ray and we exchanged glances, my parents slowly left the room, giving us our own moment. For a moment, silence and tranquility filled the space.

When I accidentally looked at where my parents had been earlier, they were no longer there. "Huh? Dad, Mom? They're gone," I thought to myself.

"What's wrong, Naina?" Ray asked, noticing my confusion.

I turned my gaze away from where my parents were and smiled at Ray. "Oh, it's nothing," I replied.

Ray looked at me with warm, attentive eyes. His gaze made me feel comfortable, as if I was embraced in a safe and protected haven. He truly was like a guardian angel sent by God for me. In my restlessness and chaotic thoughts, his presence always brought tranquility.

I tilted my head up and smiled at him shyly, blushing with gratitude. "Ray, thank you," I said softly, expressing my sincere feelings of appreciation for his unwavering support and presence.

"Mhm," Ray replied with a small nod, returning my smile with gentleness.

As I gazed at Ray, observing his less-than-ideal condition, a sense of guilt washed over me. "Ray, do you always take care of me all the time? Are you eating properly?" I asked, revealing the concern in my heart.

"Oh, that," Ray replied, brushing off my worries. "Don't worry about me, Naina. I'm strong enough! What matters is your well-being!" he replied, turning the question back to me, even though I knew his own condition wasn't good. Ray, clearly exhausted, was pretending to be fine. Did he think I didn't notice?

"Ray, you must not underestimate your current condition. You seem very tired. How about you go home and rest?" I spoke gently, seeing his current state and worrying that Ray wasn't getting enough rest because he was constantly taking care of me. I wanted to make sure he was okay.

But unexpectedly, his face showed disappointment upon hearing my words. "Naina, aren't you happy that I'm here?" he asked with a sad tone.

Why do I suddenly feel guilty? I was only concerned about him. This man! What is actually going through his mind? Did my question hurt his feelings?

I stared at Ray as he lowered his head with a saddened expression. "Pffft! He looks like a cute white kitten, pouting with its adorableness," I thought to myself.

"You foolish man! Silly sea creature! I'm just worried about you. It's as if I'm hurting you," I said with frustration.

Then, in a softer voice, I continued, "I'm also happy when you're here, but you need to take care of yourself too. How can we get married if you're not in good health?"

Upon hearing that, Ray's face immediately lit up. The one who had previously looked down with sadness transformed into pure joy.

Then, with enthusiasm, he said to me, "Naina, wait a minute. I, it's Naina. You," he stumbled over his words.

"Hmm, should that perhaps be postponed?" I joked with a serious tone, glancing over at Ray.

"What?! Postponed? Why should we delay something as important as this because of me? Our wedding must proceed," Ray replied with strong determination.
