Dr. Magnificent Hans
Mity, who appeared highly irritated, raised one leg in anger. "You annoying parrot!" she uttered while forcefully stepping on Hans' foot. Her face turned red, and her pursed lips displayed her deep frustration.
"Ouch!" Hans winced in pain, his face wrinkling, and he held onto the arm that was just stepped on by Mity.
I felt a little sorry for Hans. Just by looking at him, you could tell it was painful.
It must be really painful, I thought instantly.
"Mity!" Hans yelled angrily, limping due to the pain.
After managing to free herself from Hans, Mity approached Ray again with her agile steps.
Seeing Mity approaching once more, Ray lifted one hand, extended his index finger, and gently pressed it against Mity's forehead. "Mity, stay there," Ray said patiently, facing Mity's childish behavior.
"Aw!" Mity whimpered softly when her forehead was pressed, then her eyes met Ray's. "Cousin-brother!" Mity complained in a soft voice, stomping her foot on the floor, reflecting her remaining frustration.
Ray observed Mity's lingering frustration, but he maintained his calm demeanor. His facial expression mirrored care and understanding, like an older brother patiently listening to and comprehending his younger sibling.
"Is Mity going to argue with big brother?" Ray asked in his calm and understanding voice.
Please note that the dialogue has been translated to English, but there may still be minor grammatical errors or stylistic improvements that could be made.
Finally, Mity reluctantly acquiesced and looked at Ray with a still sullen face. "Alright, Brother!" she said, but there was still a lingering tone of annoyance in her voice.
Hans stumbled his way towards Mity, his foot visibly hurting. He pointed his finger at Mity with a clear expression of resentment on his face. "You're truly cruel," he said with a bitter tone.
Mity stuck out her tongue and mocked Hans, "Oh, feel that, you parrot!" A satisfied expression was clearly visible on her face.
Hans took a deep breath, filled with frustration. He tightly held his injured foot. "You're indeed a heartless girl!" he said, his voice interrupted by the pain he was feeling. "Ouch, it hurts so much."
As I witnessed the situation, it felt funny, and I couldn't hold back a small laugh. "Haha!" My small laughter was audible, and Mity spontaneously turned towards me with a bewildered look.
"Who's laughing?" Mity asked, her face appearing slightly confused.
Trying to hold back my laughter, I replied, "I'm sorry, but this scene is just so adorable!" My statement was accompanied by a little laughter.
Mity looked at me in astonishment, still somewhat puzzled by my presence there. Her eyes tried to grasp an understanding of who I really was.
"Eeeh? But, who are you?"
Mity gazed at me in wonder, still somewhat confused by my presence there.
"I am ..." I was about to speak, but before I could say it, Hans quickly interrupted, "She! She's obviously Ray's future wife!"
I was taken aback by Hans' response, and Mity's gaze suddenly changed. Deep disappointment emanated from her eyes, and I felt a wave of confusion wash over me. "What!" Mity murmured softly.
Why is she reacting like this? I wondered in my mind, confusion filling my thoughts. I felt uneasy seeing the disappointment in Mity's eyes, and I began to doubt my own feelings. Whether this was just my own perception or not.
However, without waiting too long, the expression of disappointment on Mity's face quickly vanished, replaced by a bright smile. "Ohh! So you're my sister-in-law!" she exclaimed cheerfully, approaching me with joyful steps.
I was surprised to see the drastic change in Mity's expression and attitude. Was what I felt earlier just my own feelings? My mind was in turmoil, trying to understand this change.
In my effort to dismiss the doubts, I kept a smile on my face. "Well, thank you," I said cautiously, trying to maintain the excitement. "You and Ray make a great couple."
Mity seemed very enthusiastic and seemed to support our relationship. I chose to ignore the lingering doubt and focus on this moment. However, behind her smile, there was still something that intrigued me. I felt the need to wait for the right time to discuss this with Ray and seek clarification about the relationship between Ray and Mity.
I then asked Ray, "Ray, this girl ...?" I tried to refer to Mity.
Ray understood my confusion and answered, "Oh, she's my sister, Mity."
After Ray said that, I saw the disappointment Mity was trying to conceal. I began to understand that what I had seen earlier was indeed true. I decided that I would clarify this with Ray later.
"Oh, and this is Hans, a surgeon--" Ray was about to finish his sentence when Hans proudly interrupted, "They usually call me Dr. Magnificent! Cool, right, Sister-in-law?"
Upon hearing that, my father suddenly spoke up, raising his hand, "Are you the one known as the Hand of Heaven? Dr. Magnificent Hans!"
Hans came forward, laughing foolishly towards my father, "Hohoho... You're right! That's amazing, are you ..." Hans turned to me, "my sister-in-law?"
"Oh, this is my father," I said, pointing to my father, "and this is my mother," I added, pointing to my mother.
Hans had a gleaming face, "Wow! Amazing! So, you're my parents-in-law!" he exclaimed happily while shaking hands with both of my parents.
"Pleasure to meet you," Hans said with a wide smile.
"We're delighted to meet you too, Hans," my parents said with gentle smiles.
As I recalled who Hans was, I was both surprised and amazed.
Hans was not just an ordinary surgeon. He was a renowned surgeon, a genius in the medical world. The world knew him as Dr. Magnificent. His hands were so skillful, as if possessing magic. He truly deserved the title of Hand of Heaven.
Who would have thought that this Dr. Magnificent could be such a cheerful person? If I imagined his nickname, I used to think Hans was someone very serious and rigid.
I really didn't expect that ....
