Admitted to the Hospital!

As Ray rushes towards me, my father and mother gaze at him with clear curiosity radiating from their faces. My father asks with a questioning and tense voice, "Who are you?"

Without answering, disappointment is clearly depicted in Ray's voice and expression as he witnesses how my parents treat me. Ray looks at my parents and says sadly, "You all..."

However, Ray focuses more on my well-being than answering my father's question. He shows his concern, "Naina, are you okay?" he says with a saddened tone.

"Ray, I..." Before I can answer, my mother pulls me behind her, preventing me from speaking.

Seeing the situation, Ray says, "Actually, what's wrong with Naina? Why are you treating her like this?" His voice is filled with escalating emotions. I know Ray is trying to restrain his feelings because it's my parents who are acting this way.

My mother and father furrow their brows, appearing confused. My mother asks, "Naina, do you know this person?"

"Mother, he..."

"I am Ray Anderson, Naina's future husband!" Ray proudly declares, standing tall with confidence.

"Future husband!" My mother and father exclaim simultaneously, expressing their surprise. Their faces show astonishment.

My father's face immediately turns angry, and as he is about to say something, he suddenly stops. "Wait! R-Ray Anderson?" My father says, looking at Ray. His eyes widen instantly, and his facial expression turns to fear.

"That's right! I am Ray Anderson. So, can I ask Ma'am to let go of Naina?" Ray says, with dominance clearly emanating from his voice.

At that moment, my mother's eyes widen spontaneously. She is incredibly surprised and immediately releases my hand.

Ray approaches me gently, his face filled with concern. "Naina, how are you? Are you hurt, are you in pain? Tell me," he says without pause. His eyes are on the verge of tears, and his worry is palpable.

After Ray arrives, my heart feels a great sense of relief. Despite feeling weak in my body and suddenly dizzy in my head, I smile and respond, "Ray, thank you. I'm fine."

However, the pain in my head intensifies. My vision blurs as I look at Ray, and everything turns dark. In that moment, I faint instantly.

Ray folded his hands. "Yes! She is your sister-in-law now. We will be getting married next week," Ray answered casually, introducing Naina as his future wife.

"What!" A cry of surprise echoed in the room, including from myself. This turn of events felt sudden and unexpected.

Ray continued, "Of course, I will check on Naina's condition first."

Amidst the confusion and shock, Hans finally raised his hand to his chest with a sense of relief. "Thank goodness, this cruel brother is getting married," he exclaimed with a sense of relief, referring to himself.

"Cruel?" I murmured softly, not understanding what Hans meant.

At that moment, Ray immediately covered Hans's mouth in annoyance. "Naina, don't listen to him, Hans! Let's go outside," he said firmly, leading Hans out.

"Uh-uh-uh, I want to talk to my brother-in-law," Hans mumbled with a stutter. Hans couldn't express his intentions properly as Ray covered his mouth.

"That's enough, don't cause a scene here, let's go," Ray said sternly, taking Hans away.

Before Ray left, the nurse who was standing behind the door suddenly tripped and fell to the floor.

Ray and Hans were startled and exchanged glances. It seemed like an unlucky day for the nurse. Shortly after, the hospital door swiftly opened again, and the nurse's body was pushed aside, causing her pain.

Someone emerged from the room. This time, it was a beautiful and cheerful-looking woman. Worry was evident on her face as she saw Ray, and she ran towards him, accidentally stepping on the fallen nurse's hand.

However, the girl didn't notice and continued to approach Ray. "Brother!" she called out enthusiastically, then hugged Ray.

"Thump!" My heartbeat quickened inexplicably. Seeing Ray being embraced by another woman made me feel uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I tried to smile and ignore those feelings.

When I woke up, I found myself in a room at the hospital. I glanced around the place. The room was luxurious, and from its appearance, I knew it was a VIP room.

As my gaze swept to the side, I saw Ray sleeping there, tightly holding my hand. I whispered his name softly, afraid to wake him. But as I tried to sit up, my head still ached, and I reluctantly lay back down.

"Ouch, it hurts so much," I exclaimed with a small groan, expressing the pain I felt.

Unexpectedly, my small groan woke Ray up from his sleep beside me. His eyes looked red and puffy. Was this man crying? I wondered for a moment.

"Naina, you're awake!" Ray exclaimed with a bright face when he realized I was already awake.

"I'll call the doctor!" Ray said hastily, trying to stand up, but I held onto his hand to prevent him.

"Ray, calm down, I'm fine," I said gently, trying to calm the worry that radiated from his face.

After I said that, Ray's face looked relieved. "Thank goodness!" he said with a relieved tone.

Suddenly, the room door opened, and my parents entered. Their faces looked full of guilt. I called out to them softly, "Mom, Dad."

They looked surprised and immediately lifted their faces, seeing me awake. Their expressions turned joyful in an instant. However, soon after, their faces changed again, and I could see the guilt enveloping them. They even tried to avoid looking into my eyes.

My mother and father approached me cautiously. "I-I will call the doctor," my mother said with a slightly stuttering voice as she went to search for the doctor.

My mother slowly approached, her face filled with guilt. "Naina, I'm truly sorry. How could I be so foolish? I shouldn't have done that to you," she said with deep regret.

I gently reached for my mother's hand, "Mom, how could I possibly blame you? You are my mother, and you surely want the best for me. It's just ... Mom!"
