I, Alpha Of The Bright Moon Wolf Pack, Reject You, Scarlett O'Hara!

I, Alpha Of The Bright Moon Wolf Pack, Reject You, Scarlett O'Hara!
Scarlett hummed softly as she gently washed her body with rose-scented water. The thought of Simon kissing her a few hours earlier was so hard to get out of her brain. Scarlett chuckled softly as she left the water. She grabbed her robe and exited the bathroom.

The room was exactly as she had left it. Simon hadn't returned yet. Scarlett decided to go look for him in her robe. They weren't able to spend the night together on the night of her wedding, but they would this time. She looked through the library and the office, but he wasn't there. If he had gone to bring the item he had mentioned to her, it had to be in his old room.

She stood in front of the door, took a deep breath, and placed a knock on it. "Simon. Are you in there?" There was no response. Scarlett knocked once more. "Simon?" When there wasn't any response, she placed her hand on the door knob and gently opened the door. She peered in and saw Simon sitting sadly on the chair. His thoughts were elsewhere.

Scarlett flung open the door and stepped inside. "Simon." When she called this time, he looked at her as if he'd awoken from a nightmare. "I waited for you, but you never entered the room. Are you alright?" She approached him, but he stopped her with a raised hand.

"Don't get any closer," Simon warned. He still had that frown on his face, and Scarlett was puzzled. They were both smiling at each other a few minutes ago, and now he was angry with her.

"Simon." Scarlett cracked a smile. "It is me. Your wife. Scarlett."

Simon took a deep breath. Scarlett's previous sense of happiness was no longer present. This time it was all sadness and gloom. "I think you should go home, Scarlett."

"Home? What are you talking about? We intended to spend the night here together." She approached him and placed her hand on his, but she was pushed away. Scarlett couldn't believe what had just happened. "Simon," she couldn't cry either. He was changing into a different person. "Simon." She tried to touch him again, but she hesitated. She sniffed and kept her trembling hands to herself. Holding in her tears.

"You should get out of here, Scarlett." Simon rose to his feet. "You should go."

"Well. I will not leave if you do not tell me what is wrong with you. You need me, Simon."

Simon began to laugh. "I need you?" He shook his head. The last thing he needs is the daughter of a murderer. The daughter of the man who had killed his parents. And the last thing she needs is the man who took her father away from her. She isn't at fault, but he can't be with her unless this great guilt would fall upon him. Simon turned his back on her. "Leave while I'm still being extremely nice to you."

"Simon. Is this some kind of prank? Because if it is, I don't think I'll enjoy this game very much." Scarlett walked to him. "Simon. What is going on?" She took his hands and placed them on her face. "You love me, don't you? You said you loved me, and I love you back. Didn't we say forever? We got married, didn't we?"

Simon worked hard to keep his tears at bay. He was in pain, but he wouldn't show it to her. It was better that they parted ways now rather than continue to hurt each other. "It was all a mistake, Scarlett," he said flatly. "Are you blind? All along, I never wanted you. I was only interested in you for your body. Now that I have gotten it, I am done. I'm sick of you now. It's probably time to move on to the next victim. That is exactly what I do. I hurt people for fun."

Scarlett slapped him right away. After that, she shook her head. "No. I don't believe you."

Simon had his hand on his cheek. He averted his gaze from her. Of course he loved her. Of course, he still loves her, but they can never be together. Whatever they do, this truth will continue to tear them apart. Now that he has found out about her father being a hunter, does that mean her whole family is too? If that's the case, he'll go after them. Scarlett will not forgive him if he kills all of them. After all, it had all been about vengeance all along. It was never in the plan to fall in love.

"Well, Scarlett, you should believe me because I don't love you. I never did, as I previously stated. You were nothing more than a pawn in my chess game. You were simply someone I desired for selfish reasons. Now that I've had it, I'm sick of it. You should leave."

Scarlett felt hurt by his words, but why does none of it sound real? Why does it sound like it was made up? She will not leave until he informs her of what she has done. "You're a coward if you make me walk through that door without explaining why you're upset with me. Don't do this, Simon." She made him look at her. "If I've done something wrong, you should tell me. I will apologise for it. I'll beg you for it, but don't treat me as if I weren't a part of your life. As if I'm not a part of your life."

"You didn't do anything wrong."

"Then why are you acting this way toward me?"

"Because I don't love you, Scarlett!" Simon yelled. He yanked her hands away from his. "Scarlett, I will never love you. From now on, I am rejecting you as my Luna because you will never be my Luna. You and I are never going to be together. Not in this world. Not in another dimension or afterlife. We will never be together because I, Alpha of the Bright Moon Wolf Pack, reject you, Scarlett O'Hara."

Upon hearing those words come out of his mouth, Scarlett stumbled as she lost her balance. It felt like a sharp knife was piercing her chest. As she gazed at him, she gagged as if a large rock was stuck in her throat and she needed to throw it out. "No. No. P-please don't... don't do this, Simon. I love you. I…" She reached for his hand, but he didn't take it. If he took it, he wouldn't have the courage to chase her away from him. While watching her experience pain, he also felt pain. He rejected her, and he was feeling the most pain.

His face became hazy to Scarlett. She fell but was caught before she went unconscious.
