ALEXIA

I am staring at Sally and I honestly don't know what she had become. The more I look at her, the more confused I am. It's like she had grown a second pair of head because I'm not understanding why and how she manages to do all this.

She was sweet. A very sweet person that I have learnt to love and trust. She was the very first person that accepted me in this pack. I thought that we had a good thing going on. How did she manage to pull all this?

Is it that she has always been like this but I was too blinded to see it? Or maybe I just didn't care?

Heavens! You should've just told me that I was born to be the villain despite everything I try to do to go against it. You should've just left me mateless cause this is just too much for me to handle alone.

"Cat got your tongue Alexia?" She drawled and took slow but steady strides towards me. I receded till I almost hit the wall but I stumbled on my chains and fell down to my face.

She chuckles.

Even her laugh is different. When did she change so much? How did she change so drastically. The more I think about it, the more I find it hard to believe.

"Sally..."

"It's Nika. Adronika" she corrects me.

"Why?" I asked painfully "Why did you do all of this? To me. I thought we were friends."

"I also wanted to believe that too but friends don't lie. You and I have nothing in common" she points out frostily.

I smile in disbelief "Where's the lie there?"

"What do you want with me?" I ask instead because I don't intend to chit chat. She's made it absolutely clear that we mean nothing to each other. That we're strangers and I was the bigger fool for believing that someone would ever like me genuinely.

"Nothing." She replies with a shrug

"And go through all this trouble to have me here?"

"You're just a pawn on the chessboard my dear." She squats and holds my chin, lifting my face to meet her eyes. I pull away from her touch. They suddenly repulsed me.

"When did you change?"

"I have always been like this. You just didn't realize it because you were just too good. Made the whole thing a lot easier for me."

"What are you even talking about?" I ask not understanding a single word she just uttered.

She rose to her feet and walked around my dungeon.

"And why did you free Alpha Jed?" I growled at her "Why would you help him to destroy your pack? You mean nothing to him. You have no connection whatsoever to him. He's just going to use you and dump you like he does to everyone" I yelled at her.

She turned and faced with a serious look which was soon replaced by a shrill of laughter. Why is she laughing?

"He's going to dump you.." she mimicked me in a childlike voice that seems to agitate my wolf who refuses to get involve with this woman.

"Alpha Jed and I are more alike than you think" she remarks after her enormous outburst of laughter.

"What?" I scoffed "You fuck him? He promised you the entire kingdom of the Knight Moon pack? What lies did he feed you with?"

She looked me dead in the eye with an expression that I couldn't decipher.

"That he is my father and that I am helping my bloodline"

Shocked registers on my face. What?

Alpha Jed has a daughter? How come no one knew about it? How come no one even suspected. Is that why she tried to get close to me? Oh my goodness. If what this woman just said is true then Asher and Fred are in serious trouble now.

"Alpha Jed doesn't have a daughter" I snapped at her in an attempt to get her talking. I will find out everything I have to find out about her today. I just have to be brave and not get scared even though I feel like peeing my pants off.

"Is that what he preached to the entire pack?" She Snickers "Even you don't believe that do you?"

"He led us ever since I was born." I protest "There wasn't a record of any child"

"Just like there wasn't any record of proof that he tried to take advantage of you that day"

She smiled when she realized that her words has somehow managed to get to me. My mind played back to the incident of that night. How come she knows all this when she wasn't even there that day?

"I know more than you think I know Alexia" her voice jolts me back to reality.

"Jed was a cheat. A big time flirt like Asher."

"Don't you dare call his name!" I warned frostily.

She raised both hands up in surrender. "Or should I call you the flirt?" She whispers and I stare at her wide-eyed. "Does anyone know that you sleep with both brothers? And pretend like it's nothing?"

I gulped nervously. Not able to say anything. "How...h-how d-did you m-manage"

"Oh please" she brushed me off "You gave it away yourself and now thanks to you, I'll have my revenge on both of them" she chuckles devilishly.

"They will come for you...they will find out that you're lying"

"Tsk! Tsk!! Tsk!!!" She clicks her tongue. "I really want them to but how can they do that when everyone thinks that you did it and not me?"

"Fred trusts me" I tell her boldly. Suddenly feeling grateful for that particular fact.

"Fred might trust you but Asher doesn't. And even if he does then he won't be able to do anything about it." She brings down her face to mine and whispers into my ears "Because Asher is the Alpha and his word is law compared to your Fred. There's no turning away from this Alexia. You will die and my father will get his revenge no matter who comes short."

She stood up and picked Fred's robe from the ground and wore it.

"I will visit you soon but until then..." She waves her hands at me and I suddenly felt lightheaded. "Have a good night rest"

I saw her change back to Fred and that was the only image I got before I fell asleep on the cold hard ground.
