Chapter 130 0130
Chapter 130 0130
The two packs clashed violently against each other as the battlefield turned into complete chaos. Loud growls, painful screams, and the terrifying sound of weapons crashing together filled the entire night. Warriors from both Silver Pack and Shadowfang Pack attacked fiercely without mercy, their swords cutting through the cold air while blood splashed across the ground. Wolves shifted into their beast forms, leaping wildly at each other with deadly claws and sharp fangs. The floor was soaked in blood and death. Torches burned brightly around the area, their flames dancing wildly with the night wind as bodies continued falling one after another.
At the center of the battlefield stood Asher and Drevan, fighting each other like two furious beasts consumed by rage. Their swords clashed repeatedly with terrifying force, creating loud metallic sounds every single time their weapons collided. Sparks flew into the air as they attacked and blocked each other endlessly. Both men moved fast, dodging every deadly strike aimed at them. Their faces were cold and filled with years of hatred and pain. Drevan’s eyes burned with revenge while Asher’s burned with fury and determination to protect his family and pack. Neither of them planned on backing down tonight.
“Drevan, stop this madness!” Asher roared angrily between the fight as he swung his sword hard toward Drevan’s chest.
Drevan quickly stepped aside and blocked the strike with his own blade before glaring murderously at Asher. “No! You killed my mate, and now it is finally time for you to pay for everything!” Drevan shouted.
Asher’s face darkened instantly. “Then don’t blame me for your death tonight,” he growled coldly before attacking again.
The two men continued fighting while warriors battled all around them. Suddenly, Asher moved quickly and pulled out a small hidden knife from the side of his warrior belt. Before Drevan could react, Asher stabbed the knife deeply into Drevan’s arm.
“Ahhh!” Drevan screamed painfully as blood instantly poured from the wound. He staggered backward, breathing heavily while glaring at the knife buried inside his flesh. Rage filled his face as he slowly lifted his burning eyes back toward Asher, who stood there coldly staring at him like a merciless king.
“I won’t warn you again,” Asher shouted furiously. “Leave my pack and stay away from my family!”
Drevan gritted his teeth painfully before grabbing the knife and pulling it out of his bleeding arm. Blood splattered onto the ground as he threw the knife away carelessly.
“Never!” Drevan screamed madly before charging toward Asher again.
Ignoring the blood flowing heavily from his injured arm, Drevan attacked wildly while Asher blocked his strikes repeatedly. The fight between them became even more dangerous as their anger exploded completely. Around them, warriors continued killing each other mercilessly. The battlefield was now covered in blood, broken weapons, and lifeless bodies. Some injured warriors cried painfully on the floor while others continued fighting despite their wounds.
Not too far away, Dax was fighting fiercely against several Shadowfang warriors at once. His clothes were already stained with blood, and a deep wound had been stabbed into his leg earlier during the battle, yet he refused to stop fighting. Breathing heavily, he swung his sword hard and killed another warrior who tried attacking him from behind. Sweat rolled down his face while pain shot violently through his injured leg, but he ignored it completely.
Suddenly, Dax’s eyes widened when he spotted one of the Shadowfang warriors sneaking toward the pack house while carrying a burning torch. The warrior quickly threw the fire toward one side of the building, trying to set the pack house ablaze.
“Damn it!” Dax shouted angrily.
Without wasting another second, he forced himself to run despite the pain in his injured leg. The moment he reached the warrior, Dax raised his sword and stabbed him in the stomach. The Shadowfang warrior coughed up blood before collapsing lifelessly onto the ground.
Before Dax could even catch his breath, two more enemy warriors rushed toward him with their weapons raised high. Dax immediately blocked one attack before kicking the other warrior hard backward.
As the battle continued outside, several Shadowfang warriors had already started forcing their way into the pack house itself, trying to reach the hidden underground area where Mira and Zane were staying.
Dax’s eyes widened in horror the moment he realized their target.
“Quickly! Protect Princess Mira!” Dax yelled loudly toward the nearby Silver Pack warriors.
Immediately, several warriors rushed toward the house.
Meanwhile, inside the pack house, Mira sat on the floor beside the bed while tightly hugging Zane against her chest. Her entire body trembled badly as the terrifying sounds of war echoed loudly from outside. Every clash of weapons, every painful scream, and every angry growl made her heart shake harder with fear. The walls of the room seemed to tremble from the violence happening outside, and each passing second only made her more terrified. Tears continuously rolled down her cheeks as she imagined Asher outside fighting against Drevan. The thought of something happening to him made it difficult for her to breathe properly. She could not bear the idea of losing him.
Mira closed her eyes tightly for a moment, silently praying to the Moon Goddess to protect Asher. Her hands shook as she held Zane closer against herself. She wished desperately that she could help in the fight somehow, but she knew she could not fight like the warriors outside. All she could do was remain hidden and pray for the nightmare to end soon.
She wanted everything to end already. She wanted peace. She wanted a life where she, Asher, and Zane could finally live happily together without fear, bloodshed, or enemies chasing after them.
“Mom… I want Dad,” Zane cried while holding tightly onto Mira’s dress with his tiny fingers. His small body trembled from fear as tears filled his innocent eyes.
Mira quickly forced a weak smile despite the tears running down her face. She gently covered his ears with her hands, trying to block out the terrifying noises outside. “Dad will come back soon, baby… okay?” she whispered while kissing his forehead.
Suddenly
BANG!
A loud, heavy sound slammed against the bedroom door. Mira instantly froze in fear. Her heart jumped painfully inside her chest as another loud bang shook the entire room again. Someone was trying to break the door down.
Her breathing immediately became uneven as panic spread through her whole body. She quickly hid Zane behind her while staring fearfully at the shaking door. Every hit against it sounded louder and more dangerous than the last.
BANG!
The wood cracked loudly.
Mira looked around the room desperately, trying to think of somewhere to hide Zane before the attackers got inside. Her mind raced wildly, but fear made it difficult for her to think clearly. Before she could even move another step.
CRASH!
The door broke apart and slammed heavily onto the floor.
Mira screamed in fear and quickly covered Zane’s eyes with one hand while backing away. Dust filled the air as several armed warriors stepped into the room. Standing in front of them was Griffin.
“Princess Mira,” Griffin called mockingly as a wicked smirk spread across his lips while his cold eyes locked onto her frightened face.
“Stay away from my son and me!” Mira shouted angrily, though fear still trembled in her voice.
Without wasting another second, Griffin turned toward the warriors beside him. “Get them,” he ordered coldly.
Immediately, the warriors rushed toward Mira and Zane with their weapons raised.
But before they could even touch her, a powerful silver light exploded from Mira’s eyes. A terrifying force burst out from her body and struck the warriors heavily before they could reach her.
BOOM!
The warriors were thrown across the room like rag dolls. Their bodies slammed hard against the walls with sickening force before crashing lifelessly onto the floor. Blood splattered everywhere as the room shook from the power released by Mira.
Griffin’s eyes widened completely in horror. He stared at Mira like he was seeing a monster for the very first time. Fear instantly filled his face.
“You… you’re….”
Before he could finish his sentence, Mira’s glowing eyes landed directly on him. Another powerful blast shot toward Griffin and struck him straight in the chest.
“AHHH!” Griffin screamed painfully as his body flew backward through the broken doorway. He crashed hard against the hallway wall before falling lifelessly onto the ground.
Silence filled the room for a brief moment.
Quickly, Mira carried Zane into her arms and rushed out of the destroyed room. She held his face tightly against her shoulder so he would not see the blood and lifeless bodies behind them. Her heart pounded wildly as she ran through the hallway searching desperately for another place to hide.
But the moment she stepped further into the hallway, her footsteps suddenly stopped.
Her eyes widened in horror.
Standing ahead of her were several Shadowfang warriors blocking the entire hallway. Their sharp weapons glowed beneath the torchlight as they stared coldly at her.
Mira clutched Zane tighter against herself as fear rushed through her body once again.
She was surrounded.
