It was nine in the morning, Adrian could be seen making his way out of his car and entering into the hospital.

"Good morning sir, you are welcome," the two receptionist greeted Adrian in unison as he walked inside the hospital.

"Thank you so much, Adrian said to them before walking away.

"Sir," The voice of one of the receptionist sounded from behind and with that Adrian stopped and turned towards her.

"Yes what is it?" Adrian asked her.

"Do you need anything like coffee or..."

"No I don't need anything, thanks for asking by the way," Adrian said to her before turning and walking away, but suddenly he stopped and walked back to the receptionist.

"Have Dr. Amelia arrived yet?" Adrian asked the receptionists.

"No sir she haven't arrived yet, actually today is her day off, so she won't be coming," The receptionist said to Adrian who furrowed his brows in surprise.

"Really?" Adrian asked the receptionist who nodded in reply.

"Okay thank you," Adrian said to them before turning and walking away, and as he was heading to his office, he brought out his phone and placed a call across Amelia.

"Becky, have you noticed?" Daria one of the receptionist asked her colleague who was typing something on the computer.

"Noticed what?" Becky asked Daria with her gaze still fixed on the screen of the computer.

"It seems like the new boss is crushing on Dr Amelia," Daria said to Becky who raised her head and looked at her.

"And what makes you think that the new boss is crushing on Dr Amelia?" Becky asked her with a furrowed brows.

"Come on Becky, don't pretend as if you don't know what I'm talking about, tell me, have the new boss ever asked about anyone in this hospital except for Dr Amelia?" Daria asked Becky.

"No he haven't, but that still doesn't mean that he's crushing on her, and mind you that Dr Amelia came late the other time and that's how he knew her, if he asked about her this morning, it's just to know if she came late again, so you better stop jumping into conclusions like that, unless you want to get fired," Becky said to Daria.

"Come on Becky, you know very well that I'm saying the truth, didn't you see the disappointed look on his face when we told him that today is Dr Amelia's day off?" Daria asked Becky who sighed heavily.

"Daria, please in the name of everything holy, change the topic, if you want to get fired no problem, but me I don't want to. If you are talking about the boss behind him, it's because you weren't here the first day he came to this hospital, Dr Tony almost got fired and believe me, if you continue talking about him behind his back you are soon going to get fired," Becky said to Daria before returning her gaze towards the computer and continue with what she was doing.

Meanwhile, Adrian on the other hand have been placing a call across Amelia but she her phone number haven't been going through.

Getting to his office, he placed a call across her two more times, and when it still didn't go through, he immediately walked out of his office and started making his way to them exit. On getting outside, he went directly to the car garage and took his car and zoomed off.

After driving for some minutes, Adrian finally pulled over in front of Amelia's appartement, and with that he got down from his car and walked towards the door and placed a knock and after waiting for some minutes and not getting any reply, he placed a knock once again.

"Hey who are you looking for?" A voice sounded from behind as Adrian was still waiting in front of Amelia's appartement, and with that Adrian quickly turned around only to see an old lady who just made her way out of her apartment with the way she was dressed, it was clear that she was going somewhere.

"Hi good morning, please I'm looking for the lady who lives in the apartment," Adrian said to the lady as he walked towards her.

"You mean Amelia?" The old lady asked Adrian.

"Yes Amelia," Adrian said to her.

"Well she's not around, she left earlier this morning," the lady said to Adrian who sighed heavily.

"Ooh, and do you have any idea of where she went?" Adrian asked the old lady.

"No, but if you are looking for her, that means you are familiar with her, so you should have have her phone number," the old lady said to Adrian.

"Yes, I actually have her phone number and I have been calling her but it haven't been going through, that's why I decided to come and see her in person. Thank you so much by the way, when she's back, tell her that Adrian came over," Adrian said to the lady who nodded in reply, and with that he turned and walked back towards his car.

Getting into his car, Adrian placed a call across Amelia once again, and still it didn't go through, and with that he sighed heavily before igniting his car and driving back to the mansion he had bought on getting to the human world.

Getting back home, he was met with met with one of the housekeepers who was busy doing the house chores.

"Sir you are back already?" the housekeeper who was a lady probably in her late forties said to Adrian.

"Yeah, I forgot something," Adrian said to her before climbing the stairs and heading to his room, getting inside he immediately walked towards his bed and took the laptop that was on top and switched it on, and afterwards he began manipulating it.

After manipulating the computer for some minutes, he cursed inwardly before taking his phone and copying what he had found on the computer in his phone, and with that he immediately took his car keys ans rushed out of the mansion.
