Chapter 79: lonely breakfast

I tossed on my bed and dragged my pillow as I used it to cover my eyes, the sunlight from the window was disturbing my sleep. "Argh," I said as I stood up from my bed reluctantly and made my way to the window, I dropped the curtain and walked back to the bed, I sighed as I claimed on my bed, I was satisfied now and I could go back to sleep

I tossed and tossed on my bed trying to fall asleep but it was like an impossible mission, I couldn't fall back asleep but I was also convinced that my body needed more rest because I had stressed myself for a few days now. I expected Adam to knock on my door this morning, like a gentleman just as Maxwell also did before we got married but Adam was somewhere far from my door

I sighed knowing that things could no longer be the same and this made me wonder if it was all my fault but I didn't do the whole mess, Adam did, his father did and I have to suffer for it and I have to judge myself every single day. I feel happy that I can finally be with Adam, that I can finally be back to this back and live my dream, my dream of being the Luna of this pack, my dream of being an idol to a lot of women in this pack and even the orphans and I am still holding on to that dream, I'm not ready to let it go now, I've come too far and I don't want to go back to Maxwell, even If I did, things will never be like it used to

I wanted to be with Adam and I had to make it happen, I needed a way to get the wolf bane poison out of my body so that I could bear my wolf but I haven't heard of any situation where anyone Injected with wolf bane bears their wolf again, but I have to try maybe they is a way that I don't know of because I know that without my wolf I won't be respected any more

I claimed down from the bed and walked to the mirror, I stood in front of it as I looked at my face in the mirror, I immediately pulled on my dress and walked into the bathroom, after brushing my teeth, I had my bath and I wrapped a towel on my body as I walked out of the shower, I sat on the chair opposite my mirror as I dried my hair. After drying my hair, I combed it

I stood up from the chair and made my way to my closet, I pulled out a blue jeans and a green shirt, I immediately put them on and then I walked back to the mirror

"Should I let my hair fall or should I pack it" I whispered to myself as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. After contemplating for a while, I finally packed the hair and picked up my phone from the bed and I walked out of the room, I saw Adam's beta and I threw a smile at him

"Good morning miss" He greeted with a straight face. I'm not yet the Luna so it was normal for him to greet me like this, but when I became the Luna, the servants, and everyone had to stop and now slightly while I pass, it's not like that is what I want but that is the treatment every other person in authority receives

"Good morning, can I get one of the keys to Adam's car, Please I need the least expensive one," I said, I didn't want to draw attention while I drove through the streets.

"Okay, please hold on a minute," He said and walked down the hall, I pulled my phone out of my pocket, I didn't know if I should send Maxwell a message or not, I sighed and finally decided not to send him any message

"Please come with me," Adam's beta said and then I followed him to the underground garage and pointed the car for me and then he gave me the keys

"This one looks low-key rich" I whispered to myself. I took the keys from him and made my way back into the mansion to have my breakfast. I walked into the dining room, It was past breakfast time and I didn't know if Adam was here for breakfast but I was glad that I didn't have to see him and his father now, not until I got back the children from Maxwell

I sat on the chair as I waited for my breakfast to be served, "Good morning miss" A pretty blonde hair girl greeted

"Good morning," I said with a smile

"What would you like for breakfast, there's toast, chicken pasta or would you prefer something else?" She said

"No, let me have the chicken pasta and juice" I replied

"Okay," She said with a smile and walked back to the kitchen, The dining table was empty and I patiently waited for her to bring my food as I stared at the empty seats
