Chapter 175 Peace of Mind
Chapter 175 Peace of Mind
Ramon and Mia both looked terrible.
They hadn't even made a move before they were caught.
Right then, they utterly despised Blair.
Blair had planned to use them from the very beginning.
Ramon had lost his former air of mystery and arrogance in front of Terrence. He was hunched over, looking pathetic.
"Mr. Anderson, let me handle these two," Donald volunteered.
Seeing that Terrence didn't object, Donald understood he probably agreed.
Donald looked at his two half-siblings and gave a faint smile. "Break their legs. No need for treatment. They can spend the rest of their lives in bed. The Simmons family can afford to support them."
Both their faces instantly turned ashen. Mia realized that the only person who could save them now was Terrence.
She crawled to Terrence's feet and grabbed his leg.
"Mr. Anderson, Mr. Anderson, I know I was wrong. Please let me go. I'll do anything. I'll be your servant forever... Ah!"
Terrence kicked her hard in the chest.
Mia clutched her chest and fell to the ground, then was dragged away.
Ramon finally snapped out of it and shouted urgently, "It was Blair! She was behind it all. She used us. This has nothing to do with us."
His words had no effect. With one word from Donald, they were taken away. Outside, the two could be heard crying out in pain and begging for help.
Donald apologized again. Terrence said coldly, "Find Blair first."
After Donald left, Terrence sat on the sofa, leaning back a little. "Bianca, you can't be in trouble. I won't let anything happen to you."
When Terrence arrived at the address from the text message, there wasn't a single person behind him.
He finally saw Blair.
"Where's Bianca?" His face was full of coldness. Blair stood with her arms crossed, looking at him.
"Inside. Mr. Anderson, if you want to find her, go on in."
The warehouse door was pushed open. No lights were on inside. The darkness was suffocating.
When Bianca woke up, she found herself in the hospital. Barry was standing nearby, looking anxious. When he saw her wake up, he immediately came closer.
"Mrs. Anderson, are you alright?"
Bianca was also anxious, but she was anxious for Terrence.
"Where's Terrence? How is he?"
"Mr. Anderson received a message and went to find you. After we found you, we tried to contact him but couldn't reach him."
"What's the address?"
When she learned the address, Bianca's expression changed repeatedly.
"He went there without bringing anyone!"
Barry said, "Mr. Anderson was worried that if you were really in Blair's hands, and he brought people, Blair would harm you."
"I have to go save him!" Bianca said seriously.
"Call the police immediately, and our own people will set out right away too."
Bianca saw the warehouse where she had died in her previous life. From a distance, it loomed like a predator.
She only hesitated for a moment, then rushed forward with her people without hesitation.
"Terrence, you have a day like this, too? Aren't you supposed to be high and mighty? Hahaha!"
Terrence was tied up with injuries on his body. In front of him was the crazed Blair.
He suddenly spoke, "Bianca isn't in your hands, is she?"
Blair's movements froze, then she said, "So what if she is? So what if she isn't? As long as you're in my hands, that's enough."
Terrence thought for a moment, and his expression relaxed considerably.
Blair noticed Terrence's emotional change. "Terrence, don't be happy too soon. You and Bianca will have the same fate."
"What do you mean?" Terrence frowned.
Blair laughed loudly. A delicate black remote control appeared in her hand. "What do I mean? Your and Bianca's destiny is like this. You can never change it. If you want to know the truth... go to hell and ask Bianca. She'll tell you."
At that moment, the warehouse door was kicked open. Bianca stood at the entrance with her people, making direct eye contact with Blair.
The moment Blair saw Bianca, unexpected wild joy flashed in her eyes.
No one here today is getting away.
Terrence and Bianca both have to die. Die, all of you!
"Blair!" Bianca called out through gritted teeth. "If you dare move, I'll take your life!"
Blair sneered, holding the remote control. "Come to Terrence right now, or I'll make him die in front of you."
"Don't come over!" Terrence shouted without hesitation.
Bianca barely paused. In a few steps, she reached Terrence's side and tried to untie the ropes on him.
But there was no time.
"Hahaha, you're dead! You're dead!"
Blair pressed the remote control, tilting her head back, picturing Terrence and Bianca being blown apart.
However, the air remained silent.
Nothing happened.
Barry rushed in with people and pinned Blair down.
"No, it's not supposed to be like this. How could nothing happen?"
Blair's pupils dilated, her face full of disbelief.
At this moment, Bianca had already untied Terrence's ropes. Terrence stood up. Barry walked behind him, and two more people came forward to dismantle the bomb under the chair.
"How could it not be possible? Did you really think I'd use the Simmons family's people as your own?"
Donald walked in from outside, arms folded, his gaze full of mockery.
As Blair nearly collapsed, Donald said to Terrence, "Sorry, Mr. Anderson, for causing you trouble."
Terrence shook his head to indicate it was fine. Someone immediately restrained Blair.
Blair struggled desperately but to no effect. As she was taken away, she kept repeating, "It's not supposed to be like this, it shouldn't be like this!"
Terrence caught Bianca as she fell.
"I'm fine. Are you okay?" Bianca looked at Terrence, but her hands and feet were trembling.
Tonight mirrored the darkest moments of her past life. The nightmares from her memories appeared again, but they didn't just include death—they also included Samuel and Blair's humiliation of her.
"There's also Samuel," Bianca said. "He's in the basement of the hilltop villa."
In her rush to find Terrence, she hadn't had time to deal with Samuel.
"Mrs. Anderson, when we found you, Samuel was also taken away."
"Good." The weight on Bianca's heart finally eased. The strength that had sustained her until now disappeared, and she completely fell into Terrence's arms.
