Chapter 174 You Were Used
Bianca shook hands with him.
Donald offered to step out for a while, and only then did Terrence continue.
"Mr. Simmons is the heir of the Simmons family. As for Ramon and Mia, who appeared around Blair, they're just two illegitimate children trying to use Blair, but ended up being used by her instead."
Bianca nodded in a daze.
So when Terrence mentioned some cooperation, he actually brought in the heir of the Simmons family to deal with those two?
If that's the case, then Mia and the others probably won't be much of a problem.
Bianca's heart finally settled down.
With the office empty, Terrence pulled her into his arms again.
Blair was resting at home. She drifted off on the couch without realizing it, and when she woke up, she was drenched in sweat.
Blair woke from her dream again, her forehead covered in cold sweat.
Ever since being disciplined by the school, she'd been having dreams every night.
Sometimes she dreamed of Bianca completely breaking down under her pressure, sometimes she dreamed of Bianca and Terrence dying together.
The same dreams kept coming back. At first, Blair thought it was just stress, but later she realized—those scenes were things that were actually going to happen.
So she clung to Ramon and Mia even more desperately, wanting to use their power against Bianca.
But this time, she dreamed that after Bianca died, she and Samuel had some good days, but then Ramon and Mia were arrested, and the two of them ended up in prison too—and all of this was a trap Terrence had set up before he died.
"No! That's not my future."
"I need to make Bianca die right now!"
Blair went to her attic and searched until she finally found what she was looking for.
Donald's appearance did put Bianca's mind at ease. When she left the company, she walked out with a lighter step.
She even made plans to have dinner with Jasmine. Just as she dialed the phone, someone suddenly grabbed her hand. She turned and saw Samuel's worn, tired face.
Bianca’s instincts screamed—why would Samuel be here? He should still be in prison!
"Bianca, let's talk." Samuel forcefully dragged her toward a car. Bianca stepped hard on his foot. Samuel winced in pain but didn't let go.
Seeing Bianca struggle too much, Samuel gritted his teeth and pulled out a spray, aiming it at her face. Bianca's body immediately went limp.
Samuel looked at her face darkly. "Bianca, you can't blame me. I want to live. I don't want to spend my whole life in prison."
"Mr. Anderson, Samuel has been rescued by people from the Simmons family."
Barry immediately informed Terrence after receiving the news.
Terrence waved his fingers lightly. "Tell Mr. Simmons to keep his people on a leash."
He then asked, "Has Bianca gone back?"
Barry shook his head. "Not yet."
After Barry left, Terrence dialed Bianca's number.
The call couldn't connect.
At the same time, Terrence's phone rang. A man's threatening voice came through. "Mr. Anderson, your wife is in my hands. We can talk about a deal."
After Ramon hung up, he slapped Blair across the face.
"You useless fool, how dare you use us to do something like this! If the plan goes wrong, I'll take your life!"
Blair covered her swollen face and kept her head down without speaking.
"Nothing can happen to Bianca, or else when that lunatic Terrence goes crazy, no one can handle it. Understand?"
Ramon asked again.
Blair nodded, but she hadn't given up in her heart.
She'd spent so much effort and even got Samuel out—how could she let Bianca go? She wanted everything to return to its original track, to make everything in her dreams happen again.
Since the Simmons family was going to put her in prison, Ramon and Mia might as well die together.
When Bianca slowly woke up, she found herself in an underground warehouse with dim lighting and Samuel standing beside her.
Samuel was smoking a cheap cigarette. He clearly hadn't slept well in who knows how long—his whole appearance was a mess.
"Samuel, you grabbed me like this—do you think Terrence will let you go?"
"I'll give you money. Take it and leave. I guarantee Terrence won't come after you. That's your best option."
Bianca propped herself up and looked at him seriously.
Samuel finally laughed.
"Bianca, you turned me into a rat hiding in the gutter. You think I'll let you go?"
He took a deep drag of his cigarette and blew out the smoke, a smile on his lips. "Besides, I'm not the one who had you brought here."
There was a noise from above. Blair came down the stairs and stood in front of Bianca.
"It's you? What do you want?" Bianca frowned.
"To make everything go back to how it should be, of course."
Blair sneered. Her next words made Bianca's eyes widen.
"You should be hurt by those vile men, then die together with Terrence. That's the ending for you two."
Blair aimed at Bianca's face and slapped her hard twice.
"Enough!" Samuel spoke up.
Blair looked at him. "What, feeling sorry for her now? Don't forget, if it weren't for me, you'd still be in prison. All of this is because of her."
Samuel looked at Blair quietly. "I got arrested—didn't you have something to do with that, too?"
"Samuel, right now you can only rely on me. Otherwise, you have nothing. You understand?"
Samuel fell silent. Blair pulled out a new phone and dialed Terrence's number.
"Hello." Terrence's low voice came through.
Blair punched Bianca in the face. Bianca cried out in pain.
"Bianca!" Terrence immediately shouted.
Bianca gritted her teeth. "Terrence, don't worry about me, and don't listen to anything they say!"
She was now certain—Blair must have been reborn, otherwise there was no way she could know about things from the previous life.
The current Blair was crazier than in the previous life. She absolutely couldn't let anything happen to Terrence, absolutely not!
Blair left with Samuel. Bianca sat on the bed, looking around.
This was a basement. Except for the door they came through, there was no other exit.
Fortunately, Blair didn't want to starve Bianca to death for now. Every day, Samuel would bring her one meal and a cup of water.
"Samuel, what I said before still stands. Let me go, and I'll let you go too. Do you want to be an insect that never sees the light of day for the rest of your life?"
Samuel's steps paused. Sharp pain came from behind him. He turned and saw Bianca holding a brick with blood on it.
Then he completely passed out.
When Bianca got out, she discovered this was a hilltop villa. There was only one road down the mountain, and no other people were around. She had no idea how Blair found this place.
She could only grit her teeth and drag her exhausted, starving body down the mountain.
She didn't dare take the main road, only following small paths.
But she didn't stop. She had only one thought—
She had to get down the mountain and contact Terrence as soon as possible. She couldn't let him die for her again.
And Terrence received a message from Blair.
"Want to see Bianca? Meet me here."
Terrence looked up at Ramon and Mia kneeling before him and Donald.
"Looks like you've been used."
