Chapter 350 Clearing Data
The Powell family, one of the seven great clans, could directly decide the outcome of the Thirty-Six Nobles' election.
Hearing the name of the Powell family, no one would dare show disrespect.
"That's Yasmin, I couldn't be wrong." Isolde was certain. "Before I came to school, my mom specifically told me that Wilder's granddaughter Yasmin is in the Class of 88 in the Physics Department. She also told me that if I get a chance to connect with her, I must do it!"
Wilder already held a high position within the Powell family.
It was said that the auctions held by the Powell family were all managed by Wilder. For the nobles, being able to build a good relationship with Wilder meant gaining first-hand information and resources from the Northern Ice Empire's top auction venues.
Of course, Wilder's power didn't stop there.
In short, getting to know Yasmin meant having one more path for the future.
Seeing Isabella and Yasmin coming out of the restaurant together, they were all a bit surprised.
"Could Isabella actually know Yasmin?"
"She knows Yasmin?" Saskia bit her lip when she heard this and said in a low voice, "That shouldn't be possible."
"Maybe she just happened to go to the same restaurant as Yasmin to eat. Besides, didn't you see? They didn't say a word when they came out, and they were so far apart from each other. They didn't look like they knew each other at all."
Hearing Saskia put it this way, Isolde also thought it made sense. "True."
She was really overthinking it.
How could Isabella possibly know Yasmin?
——
Isabella went straight back to Villa Dorm 112 after leaving the restaurant.
When she left the restaurant, she naturally saw Isolde, Saskia, and the others, but she didn't pay them any mind.
Kennedy saw Isabella return and asked, "Isabella, is your Experiment 134 almost finished too?"
Isabella nodded. "Tomorrow we'll compile everyone's data and prepare the report, then we can submit it."
Tomorrow was the last day of the submission deadline.
They were finishing right on schedule.
Kennedy's Experiment Group 122 had progressed much faster - Kennedy had submitted the lab report three days ago.
"So for the next experiment, which one are you planning to choose?" Kennedy asked.
"I don't know, haven't thought about it yet."
Isabella said, glancing at Kennedy. "Why? Is something wrong?"
"I want to say that for the next experiment, you should work with me. Don't team up with other people."
Kennedy had been watching Isabella these past few days and felt sorry for her - being targeted and excluded by team members during an experiment, and being harassed by Delmar.
Although Isolde from Experiment Group 134 seemed decent enough, Isolde and Saskia were good friends for years, so even if she appeared fair on the surface, she definitely favored Saskia in her heart.
And the fact that Experiment 134 dragged on until today to barely finish, Kennedy felt it had a lot to do with the atmosphere in the experiment group.
She wished she had done Experiment 134 with Isabella from the start, instead of letting Isabella team up with others and suffer so much.
"But I haven't decided what to do for the next experiment yet," Isabella said.
"That's okay."
Kennedy didn't mind.
"Next time, whichever experiment you want to do, I'll do it with you. If we don't have enough people, we'll find others. We'll choose the team members ourselves, pick reliable ones."
Hearing Kennedy say this, Isabella naturally understood that Kennedy didn't want her to be excluded again.
"Thank you, Kennedy." Isabella said sincerely.
Her experience doing this experiment was indeed quite bad, and it had seriously affected her mood.
"Then let me wish us a happy cooperation in advance." Kennedy extended her hand to her.
Isabella looked at Kennedy solemnly extending her hand, shook it, and couldn't help laughing. "It's just an experiment. If someone didn't know better, they'd think we just closed a multi-million dollar deal!"
Kennedy couldn't help but smile too.
——
Nine o'clock at night.
Experiment Group 134's laboratory.
The lab door opened.
Saskia put away her access card, walked into the lab, and locked the door behind her.
She looked directly at Isabella's computer.
Each person's experimental data was saved on their computer.
Saskia pressed her lips together, walked over, and turned on the computer.
"Please enter password"
Saskia knew Isabella's computer password because she had deliberately peeked when Isabella logged in.
She quickly entered the password.
Sure enough, the screen flashed and went straight to the desktop.
Saskia quickly found the experimental data files Isabella had stored on the computer, smirked, and completely deleted them.
The kind that couldn't be recovered.
After completing this series of actions, Saskia returned the mouse and keyboard to their original positions before leaving the lab.
The experiment grade wasn't that important to her.
Compared to those three points, she wanted more to see Isabella being blamed and resented by everyone in the group.
And if other students knew it was Isabella's fault that led to the failure of Experiment 134, no one would ever be willing to team up with Isabella again.
Saskia let out a cold laugh, feeling inexplicably good.
——
The next day.
Isabella came to the lab as usual.
The others had all arrived too.
Today's task was to compile everyone's experimental data into the final report.
The written part of the report was already done; now they just needed the data.
"Isabella, you came at the right time. We're compiling the data. Open up your portion of the data too." Isolde looked at Isabella and said.
Isabella nodded, came to her computer, turned it on, and clicked into the cloud storage where the files were saved.
It was completely empty.
Isabella's eyes narrowed slightly, a cold gleam passing through them.
Isolde saw Isabella's expression change and walked over. "What's wrong? Is something not right?"
"My data is gone," Isabella said.
"What?"
Everyone present changed their expressions.
They all immediately gathered around.
"What do you mean? How could the experimental data be gone?"
Isabella stared at the screen, her expression darkening. "I saved the experimental data in this cloud storage, but now there's nothing in it."
Isolde's face immediately became anxious. She really hadn't expected that at this final moment, Isabella's data would be gone.
"Isabella, what's going on with you? The experimental data is so important, how did you manage it?"
Brad frowned slightly, his tone also carrying some blame. "How could you lose something so important?"
"You all think I lost the experimental data?" Isabella looked up at them, her eyes somewhat cold.
"What else?" Saskia spoke up, glancing at her with some dissatisfaction. "The experimental data was on your computer. If you didn't lose it, who did?"
Isabella's dark eyes fixed on Saskia, and she let out an ambiguous light laugh.
Saskia heard Isabella's cold laugh and said with a stern face, reproachfully, "Isabella, you still have the nerve to laugh? Why don't you tell us what to do now? The data is lost, we can't write the report. You've really ruined us!"
Isolde and Brad also looked at Isabella with some blame and disgust in their eyes.
