Chapter 294 This Tiger Will Definitely Eat People
After Ollie finished speaking, he didn't even want to look at Isabella, his face full of mockery and disgust.
Isabella couldn't be bothered to waste words with him. She pulled out the Powell family crest ring. "Whether I can go in to see Pippa isn't up to you. Gwyneth told me this crest ring grants access to anywhere, including here."
Ollie's expression immediately changed when he saw it. "Why is this crest ring still in your hands?"
Hadn't Gwyneth confiscated the crest ring?
"This is mine to begin with. If it's not in my hands, whose hands should it be in?" Isabella sneered.
Ollie immediately clenched his teeth. "Shameless!"
She stole the Powell family's crest ring and still dared to be so arrogant.
He really couldn't understand why Gwyneth would allow such an important crest ring to remain in Isabella's hands. Isabella didn't deserve to hold their Powell family's crest ring at all.
Isabella glanced at him and urged coldly, "What are you standing there for? Hurry up and open the door for me."
Ollie's face looked terrible. Though clearly displeased, he eventually opened the stone door.
He glared viciously at Isabella. "You're the one who wants to go in and see the white tiger. If it hurts you, I can only say you deserve it!"
The cave was very large. Ollie led Isabella inside, and after walking some distance, he stopped and said, "Pippa is just ahead. Go by yourself. I don't want to deal with that tiger!"
Then he added coldly, "You only get ten minutes. After ten minutes, you must come out!"
"Got it."
Seeing Isabella boldly walking toward the depths of the cave, Ollie frowned. "Foolish thing! Actually daring to get close to a vicious beast that bites!"
With that, Ollie walked straight out of the cave.
He looked down at his watch, keeping track of the time.
Suddenly, a voice sounded in his ear: "Ollie, was that Isabella who just went in?"
Ollie looked up and saw it was Kismet. He immediately said respectfully, "Ms. Kismet Powell, yes, Isabella came to see that tiger."
Hearing this, Kismet immediately said coldly, "Since she likes that tiger so much, let her stay with it."
Ollie didn't understand. "Ms. Kismet Powell, what do you mean?"
"Close this stone door. Without my orders, don't let her out!" Kismet commanded in a deep voice.
"Pippa can't go hungry. It eats a lot at each meal, and raw meat too, right?" The corners of Kismet's lips curved up, her eyes full of cunning. "Don't open the door to feed it at mealtime either. One meal at noon, one in the evening. Missing two meals, this tiger will definitely eat people."
Hearing Kismet's words, Ollie immediately understood.
This was to make Pippa eat Isabella alive when it was starving.
It had to be said, this was a very good plan.
After all, Isabella herself wanted to go in to see Pippa, so even if Isabella was bitten to death, it had nothing to do with him, and besides, he had already warned her.
Ollie immediately had people close the stone door and sneered, "You all heard what Ms. Kismet Powell just said, right? From now on, we don't need to feed this tiger anymore."
He figured that since this tiger could bite Kismet, it had clearly lost its mind. A tiger that's lost its mind would definitely eat people when starving!
Ollie smiled smugly. He looked forward to Isabella being bitten to death. Who told her not to know better and insist on going in?
Kismet also left satisfied.
Let Isabella also experience what it feels like to be torn apart by a tiger.
——
Isabella knew nothing about this.
She took a big fat fish from the basket and tossed it in front of Pippa. "Pippa, look what I brought you?"
Pippa was dozing and opened her eyes to see Isabella. She immediately got up from the ground and walked quickly toward Isabella, visibly happy.
"Eat the fish quickly. Dane told me you love fish the most."
Pippa swallowed the fish whole, bones and all.
"Pippa, why did you bite Kismet?" Isabella stroked her head and murmured, "Do you also think she's not a good person?"
Isabella wasn't really asking Pippa. She just wanted to say something, but unexpectedly, Pippa actually nodded at her.
Isabella was startled and her eyes widened. "You can understand what I'm saying?"
Pippa nodded again.
Isabella's worldview was immediately shaken.
This tiger could actually understand human speech!
This was amazing!
"Then let me ask you, does one plus one equal two?"
Pippa nodded.
"Does three plus two equal four?"
Pippa shook her head.
Isabella was shocked.
Pippa could not only understand human speech but could also do math?
"So when you bit Kismet, were you helping me?"
Pippa nodded.
"Why did you help me?"
Pippa: "..."
Isabella hugged her fluffy neck. "Okay, I get it. Anyway, you meant well, right? But now it looks like you're locked in this dark cave and lost your freedom because of me..."
Isabella sighed and comforted her, "But don't worry, I'll go ask Gwyneth to show you mercy, try to reduce your sentence, and get you released early."
Pippa wagged her tail, seeming very happy.
"Alright, it's about time. I should go. I'll come see you again tomorrow. The fish in the basket are all for you as snacks. Eat them while they're fresh, okay?"
Isabella smoothed Pippa's fur before reluctantly getting up to leave.
Pippa also got up and followed her out, looking like she intended to personally see her off.
"You're quite polite." Isabella smiled.
Pippa and Isabella came to the cave entrance, only to discover that the stone door had somehow been closed.
Isabella knocked on the stone door. "Ollie! Open the door!"
No response.
To be precise, she couldn't hear any response.
Because it was used to confine Pippa, this stone door was extremely heavy, able to block almost all sound and couldn't be broken. Without using the mechanism, there was no way to open it.
Isabella called out a few more times with no answer and immediately understood.
That bastard Ollie did this on purpose!
Deliberately locking her in here?
And then what? What did he want to do by locking her in here?
If Ollie had the guts, he'd better never let her out!
Isabella helplessly led Pippa back, explaining as they walked, "That bastard Ollie deliberately locked me in here. I can't get out now."
"But he can't possibly never open the door. I figure at the latest by tonight, he'll definitely come open it."
Back at Pippa's den, Isabella lay down to sleep.
Pippa quietly watched over her from the side.
