Chapter 176 Isabella Found a Poor Loser as a Boyfriend

Chapter 176 Isabella Found a Poor Loser as a Boyfriend

Zachary was still lost in thought when a male student came in to tell him that Bianca was looking for him.

Zachary looked outside, and sure enough, Bianca was standing right there.

He frowned.

What happened at the calligraphy competition was really unexpected.

He never imagined that Isabella's calligraphy skills would impress even Cillian, and he certainly didn't expect Bianca would steal something.

Isabella was impressive, while Bianca had become a joke.

Everyone was talking about how Bianca looked pure and innocent on the surface, but was actually vicious underneath.

She wasn't good enough for him.

He didn't want to be influenced by such talk, but he really couldn't understand what Bianca had done.

"Got it." Zachary stood up and walked straight out of the classroom.

When Bianca's messages to Zachary went unanswered, she came to his class to find him. Seeing him come out, she immediately rushed over and hugged him, "Zachary!"

Zachary's brows furrowed deeply as he removed Bianca's hands from his waist.

"Bianca, not in public like this."

Bianca froze.

Not good?

But she used to hug him in public before, and he never said anything against it.

Bianca looked at him, her voice trembling, "Zachary, is it because of what happened at the calligraphy competition? Do you... hate me now?"

Hate?

Not quite.

Zachary sighed, looking at her with some doubt, "Bianca, I just don't understand why you did that."

Why would she switch out Isabella's competition entry?

Was it really like they said, that Bianca was jealous of Isabella's better calligraphy?

"I'm sorry, Zachary, I just care about you too much." Bianca said tearfully.

"Care about me?"

Bianca sobbed, her voice growing weaker, "I was afraid that if I didn't do well at the calligraphy competition, Mom and Dad wouldn't like me and would give the engagement back to my sister. Zachary, I was really scared. I don't want to lose you, and I don't want to give up our engagement, so I..."

"I'm sorry, Zachary, I just lost my head for a moment."

Zachary suddenly understood.

So that was it.

He really didn't expect that Bianca did this because she cared about him.

She was so foolish.

But her foolishness was because her heart was full of him.

Zachary was moved and no longer felt like blaming her, "Bianca, you were too impulsive. Don't you know that you're the only one in my heart? So what if Isabella performs well and is excellent? I won't fall for her, and there's no way I'd ever marry her."

Bianca kept crying, "But I was just afraid, really afraid that I wouldn't be as good as my sister."

"Everyone keeps saying that I'm not the real daughter of the Taylor family, that I'm not good enough for you. The more they say it, the more scared I get."

"Zachary, I don't care about status, but I care about you."

"Who's saying that?" Zachary looked at Bianca crying in his arms, his heart softening a bit, "That's complete nonsense."

"A lot of people are saying it. They also say I'm piggybacking on Isabella's birthday party, calling me shameless, but it's my birthday too."

Zachary saw how heartbroken Bianca was and reached up to wipe her tears, "Don't be afraid. On your birthday, I'll be there to support you. No one will bully you."

"Not even Isabella."

"I'll make sure everyone knows whose birthday party it really is."

——

Third floor cafeteria.

"The food here is really good." Violet ate from her bowl, "Being rich is nice."

She'd gained quite a bit of weight these past few days.

"But your family is really unfair. Your brothers and that Bianca, why do they get to be in the international class? And eat such good food? And you? Poor thing, stuck mixing with people like us. It's not like the Taylor family can't afford your thirty thousand dollars in tuition."

Violet felt indignant for Isabella.

"People like you?" Isabella laughed, "What kind of people are you? I actually think it's pretty good being with you all."

Maybe she just didn't belong in the international class. If she went there, she might actually feel out of place.

Violet let out a small sigh and put down her utensils, "I just think you should be treasured."

"Look at that Bianca, so arrogant. She even went straight to Mr. Hawthorne's office to steal your competition entry. So disgusting. She's only so bold because your parents spoil her—"

Violet suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

Because she saw Bianca.

Bianca walked in with a few other girls and sat down not far from them.

"That's weird." Abigail sat down and suddenly said.

Evelyn looked confused, "What?"

"I heard from people in the class next door that Isabella has a boyfriend."

Hearing this, Bianca's hand holding her utensils paused, "Really?"

"Should be true." Abigail said, "Didn't Louis confess to Isabella before? Isabella said she had a boyfriend. Louis didn't believe it at first, so he brought some people to find Isabella. Guess what happened?"

Everyone was curious and looked at Abigail with surprise.

"Turns out Isabella actually contacted her boyfriend right in front of Louis."

This news came from the people who were with Louis that day.

"So Isabella really does have a boyfriend!" Abigail was shocked. She turned to look at Bianca, "Bianca, do you know who Isabella's boyfriend is?"

Bianca shook her head.

If Abigail hadn't mentioned it, she wouldn't have known Isabella had a boyfriend at all.

"It's so strange. Isabella keeps her relationship so secret that neither you nor I knew about it. I even had someone from Class 11 check, and even Class 11 doesn't know!"

"No one has seen Isabella's boyfriend!"

This was too weird.

"Bianca, when you and Zachary started dating, if not the whole school, at least eighty percent knew about it. And in our class, if anyone starts dating, gossip spreads quickly, right? Even if we don't know the details, we at least know who's with who?"

"But Isabella is different. She's treating it like some underground romance."

"Her boyfriend only exists in rumors."

Abigail's curiosity was really piqued, "Don't you think, with Isabella being so secretive, maybe her boyfriend isn't presentable?"

"Definitely!" Evelyn completely agreed.

"Think about it, if Isabella's boyfriend was presentable, handsome and rich like Zachary, why wouldn't she let everyone know openly? If she's keeping it secret, he must be poor..."

Bianca lowered her eyes.

So Isabella found some poor guy as her boyfriend.

A pleased smile curved her lips, feeling somewhat vindicated.
