Chapter 102: Don't Push Me Away

Chapter 103: Encounter at the Hotel

Seeing Serenity's very interested look, my eyes turned cold. Before I could speak, Natasha, beside me, stared hard at the hands of Atlas, and I had just shaken.

"Helena, I never thought you'd be such a two-timing woman!"

Natasha pointed at Atlas and me, suddenly realizing, "So the wedding incident was planned by you two together, wasn't it?"

"You deliberately embarrassed Knox that day just to make room for this man, right?"

"Helena, I never knew you could be so scheming!"

Watching her accusations, my expression remained calm. After she finished, I said coolly, "Are you done?"

"Helena, admit it. The wedding incident was deliberate, wasn't it?"

"So what if it was? So what if it wasn't?"

I looked at her coldly, "The video of you and Knox having sex isn't fake, is it? You dared to do it, so are you afraid of others exposing it?"

"You bitch!"

Natasha raised her hand to slap my face in embarrassment and anger. As soon as she raised her hand, a strong palm stopped her.

"This isn't the place for you to make a scene!"

Atlas said, forcefully pushing her away. Natasha stumbled back a few steps and was caught by John, who had just arrived.

Seeing Atlas before him, John's face instantly filled with smiles. "Oh, Mr. Lancaster! Mr. Lancaster, are you here for dinner too?"

Then his eyes fell on me, and he said with a smile, "Look at this mess. This is a family matter, but we're making a scene in front of Mr. Lancaster. How embarrassing for Mr. Lancaster."

"Dad, didn't you hear what Helena said? The wedding incident was deliberate."

"Shut up!"

John snapped at Natasha coldly, "It's all in the past, why bring it up again!"

After speaking, John looked at me with a smile, "Helena, what a coincidence running into Mr. Lancaster here. How about this - today's on me, shall we have a drink together?"

"No need. We've already reserved a private room. Perhaps you can arrange to meet Mr. Lancaster separately another day."

After speaking, I glanced at Atlas, signaling him to go in.

Seeing my look, Atlas nodded slightly and said to John, "Mr. Lockwood, I'll take my leave then."

Just as we were about to leave, I heard Serenity speak up, "Helena, is this a business meeting? Can I come with you?"

I turned to look at her. Serenity looked timid, speaking to me but with her eyes on Atlas.

"I promise I won't disturb you. Helena, I just want to learn from you."

After speaking, she lowered her head shyly, looking pitiful.

I sneered inwardly. Serenity really falls for every man she meets. She really wants to be the center of attention.

But too bad - Atlas isn't Knox. This time, Serenity's plan is going to fail.

Sure enough, before I could speak, Atlas said coldly, "Since you already guessed it's a business meeting, bringing irrelevant parties along would definitely be inconvenient!"

Then he looked down at me, "Let's go."

This time, he didn't give those people any chance to speak and directly pulled my hand, striding away.

Behind us came Natasha's shriek, "Dad, see? I told you they're having an affair. Look!"

"Shut up!"

With John's voice, it instantly became quiet behind me.

In the elevator, I looked up at Atlas and asked, "You did that on purpose?"

"What?"

Atlas pretended to be confused, not taking my question.

I raised my hand, shaking our still-joined hands, "How do you explain this?"

"Helena."

Atlas smiled indulgently, "Please don't be angry. I just didn't want those people around you to target you. I wanted to share some of the pressure with you."

"Well, thank you so much for confirming the bad reputation of being unfaithful."

"Does that mean you're admitting we're a couple?"

Seeing Atlas's surprised and delighted expression, I snorted coldly, "Mr. Lancaster, no wonder Knox can't beat you. Now I finally know why - he's not as shameless as you!"

"If being shameless can win your heart, then I'll be shameless."

As Atlas spoke, he brought my hand to his lips again.

"What are you doing? There are cameras in this elevator."

I struggled to break free, but Atlas held tight. As we were playing around, the elevator door suddenly opened.

Outside, Lyndon was waiting with York. Seeing our hands together, he quickly turned around and deliberately said to York, "York, tell the waiters to start serving. Ms. Lockwood and Mr. Lancaster are here."

York, not understanding, responded and glanced toward the elevator. Before he could greet us, Lyndon sent him away.

"Young people these days really don't know when to make themselves scarce."

He shook his head, then looked at Atlas and me with a smile, "The private room is ready. Mr. Lancaster, Ms. Lockwood, this way please."

During the meal, Atlas and Lyndon became much closer.

When it ended, Lyndon, dizzy from drinking, grabbed Atlas's hand and wouldn't let go.

"Mr. Lancaster, our whole company thanks you. Really, you've solved a huge problem for us."

"Lyndon, you're too kind. We're friends, no need to be so formal."

"Right, friends, friends!"

Lyndon smiled happily, "Mr. Lancaster, we're all hoping your relationship with Ms. Lockwood will go further."

Hearing this, Atlas smiled broadly, "I'll work hard. I won't disappoint you."

Seeing these two getting more ridiculous, I interrupted, "Alright, the driver's waiting downstairs. Time to go."

I gave York a look, and he quickly stepped forward to pull Lyndon along, "I'll take you back."

"Okay, let's go, let's go!"

You could tell Lyndon was really happy tonight - he was already drunk and slurring his words.

After they left, I also pulled Atlas downstairs.

As soon as we got in the car, Atlas couldn't wait to rest his head on my shoulder.

"Helena, I'm so happy today. From now on, you're mine. No one will compete with me anymore."

I pushed him reproachfully, "What nonsense are you talking? I haven't agreed to your pursuit yet."

"Yes, yes, yes. I'm being too hasty."

Atlas nuzzled my shoulder, "It's okay, I have plenty of patience."

When we got back, it was already dark. The study light was on. I knocked on the door and saw Henry working. I was about to turn and leave.

But he stopped me with one sentence, "Helena, Natasha said she ran into you at the hotel tonight?"
