Chapter 84 Time To Kill!

Chapter 84 Time To Kill!
Luna Rosie got another addiction, watching suspense, murder mysteries and documentaries, betrayal and espionage dramas. She still watches comedy dramas once in a while.
Her depression comes on and off. There are days where she is feeling fine and there are some days where she breaks into sobbing in the middle of watching a movie.
Some days are really tough for her to deal with because no matter how hard she laughs, the pain never goes away.
The truth is that she will never get her body back in this lifetime, killing her spirit inside.
She was happy when the shaman arrived and is very excited for the soul swap to happen, but unfortunately it’s now a distant dream.
She could never have her body back. She will be forever stuck in Mira’s body all her life until she dies.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow. No one can understand her pain — only herself.
Some days she would go shopping and splurge on expensive bags, shoes, clothes and jewelry. But the more she buys fancy things the more her sadness and loneliness grows.
Her husband still came home to her, but their relationship was never the same. She was no longer talking to him on a deeper level.
She can’t bear his touch anymore. The hatred she had for him is still burning alive in her heart.
She hated him and she hated Mira as well. She hated them both!
She was stuck in the limbo of trying to get over her depression but also wanting to stay angry and depressed all the time.
A mental disorder that never goes away.
Sometimes she feels murderous and wants to kill someone especially after she watched movies with killer protagonists, murdering their victims. She can relate to the rage they feel inside.
There are times when she wants to kill someone because the rage inside her only grows stronger every day, and the person she wants to kill the most is Mira.
She knew she was slowly turning into the psycho killer she saw in the movies. She can relate to scorned, betrayed women who fought back and killed their husbands' mistresses and dumped their bodies in lakes or buried their corpses in dense forests.
She likes the feeling of seeing those evil women deliver justice in the only way they know how. So liberating and satisfying to watch.
Her murderous thoughts grew stronger every day — along with a plan to kill Mira one day if she had the opportunity. She purchased kitchen knives online in different sizes and hid them from her husband.
She will stab Mira a million times until she begs her to spare her life.
She doesn’t care anymore about her unborn child. She already lost her motherly love for her baby.
If she can’t have her body back, then she will kill it along with Mira.
Since she wanted to kill Mira, she must create a solid plan so that she can execute her evil intention with a 100% success rate.
There is no turning back for her.
Her life has already lost its meaning. She has already spiraled out of control.
She is ready to kill and ready to pay the price as long as she can kill Mira!
With a solid plan in mind her life finally had a clear direction. She will channel all her energy into the completion of her goal.
Her body only belongs to her!
She will take it back!
How about she practice first?
She will drive around the city and find a victim to kill and dispose of the body in rivers or lakes? Just like those killers she saw in the movies.
How exciting!
She was getting excited about killing her first victim.
But before she murders someone for practice she must do some in-depth research to make sure her perfect plan can never go wrong.
Yup, that’s right!
She grabbed the remote control and watched more murder mysteries and documentaries to get a deeper understanding of the mindset of the killers.
She had just finished watching a murder mystery and was about to begin watching another one when her husband finally arrived in the room. She quickly switched channels and watched a cooking video instead.
Every time her husband comes home, she always changes the channel so her husband doesn't suspect her.
He came to her side on the sofa and planted a kiss on her cheek. “How’s your day?” he asked.
“Awesome. I watch many cooking videos because I plan to study culinary arts. Would you support my studies if I pursue that course?” she asked with a smile.
“Of course. I will support you,” he said cheerfully, hugging her briefly, patting her back affectionately.
“Thank you,” she beams, hiding her evil plans behind her fake smile.
She would not kill her husband because she still loved him. She wants him to suffer emotionally and psychologically after she kills Mira and their unborn son. That is sweet revenge she has prepared for him. She wants him to suffer badly, consumed by guilt and regrets every day for the rest of his life.
“Have you had dinner already?” she asked as he walked toward the bathroom.
“Yes, done already,” he replied casually.
“With whom do you have dinner?" With Mira?” she asked suspiciously.
“Nope.” He shook his head, entered the bathroom and closed the door on her face.
She released a deep sigh, gritting her teeth in anger. He was obviously lying. She knew he had spent more time with Mira nowadays.
But it’s okay, that will change soon.
“Enjoy your time with Mira while you still can,” she said, smirking diabolically.
She finally turned off the TV, donned her pajamas and got into bed to retire for the night.
She pretended that she was already sleeping, and waited for what he would do next after leaving the bathroom.
He slumped on the sofa and began typing rapidly on his phone, texting someone. It could be Mira or his brothers he was texting or chatting with.
Never mind, let him be.
She began yawning and closed her eyes to sleep, drifting into a deep sleep fifteen minutes later.
She didn't know what time he had slept last night because when she opened her eyes, it was already 7:00 o'clock in the morning and her husband was already gone from the room.
She got up from bed and went to the bathroom for her morning routine. And when she emerged from the bathroom door a few moments later, she saw her husband putting a food tray laden with food on the table. The aroma of delicious pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon drifted into her nostrils.
"Good morning, my love. Let's have breakfast together," he said cheerily.
"Morning," she greeted him, smiling brightly. She went to the table and eased into the chair.
They began eating their heavy breakfast and she talked about her desire to study culinary arts.
"So, when are you going to do it?" he asked, ready to support her.
"After our wedding," she responded merrily.
"OK." He put a slice of bacon in his mouth and continued eating with gusto.
The couple finished breakfast in good spirits.
"I will go shopping in the mall this afternoon," she stated casually.
"OK. Enjoy shopping," he said, supporting her in whatever makes her happy. He was glad she was finally going out more often to fight depression. She no longer mentioned the soul swap and they never had a major quarrel again. She spends most of her time shopping, watching endless movies on TV and eating ice creams and chocolates. Whatever she does in her own time somehow helps her overcome her depression.
"All is well with you, my love?" he asked one last time, observing her face.
She met his gaze. "Yes of course. I'm having fun. I can finally go out without wearing a veil on my face. I feel so much better nowadays. Please stop worrying about me," she said reassuringly.
He smiled, satisfied with her answer. "Good. If you need anything, tell me right away."
"OK, thanks for your love and care. I appreciate it very much," she said lovingly.
He planted a kiss on her forehead and said, "I love you always."
"I love you too," she responded, misty-eyed.
"Breakfast is finished. I gotta go and talk to my brothers about another important mission. Take care of yourself while I'm away," he said.
"Copy that," she responded with a smile.
He stood up and left the room.
She put back the dirty dishes on the tray and set them aside. A maid will pick it up later.
She went to the dressing table, sat on the chair and stared at herself in the mirror while brushing her hair.
Tonight, she will have her first kill!
She already has a place in mind to scout for her first victim. It should be the homeless people who frequently sleep on the benches in the park. If they die, they will be quickly forgotten because they have no family who will be actively looking for the murderer.
They are an easy and perfect target!
She rose to her feet, went to the cabinet, opened the drawer and picked up a knife, pepper spray, black face mask and put them all in her black shoulder bag. Her weapons are ready for her first kill.
She is getting excited!
What is she going to do next?
Ah, she will watch more murder mysteries and documentaries to reinforce her desire to kill tonight.
She must not waver and kill without mercy so she can have the strength and will to kill Mira and her unborn child. Well, she won't directly hit her baby. She would just aim for Mira's throat, slit it open and let her bleed to death.
That's her plan.
As for Lena? She will find a way to send her away from the bungalow house, or she will just talk to Mira in her bedroom, lock the door, then slit her throat there. Lena won't be able to open the door quickly and even if she asks for help, it will be too late to save Mira.
And what will happen to her?
She is planning to do suicide because she doesn't want to live in jail for the rest of her life. But she will not slit her throat with a knife. She will just drown herself in the man-made lake in front of the bungalow house for a peaceful and painless death.
She and Mira will die together on the same day.
Since she can't get her body back she might as well kill herself and Mira so that they would leave this world together with their unborn child.
If Mira thinks that she can enjoy and take advantage of her body for a long time, she is wrong!
She will cut short Mira's happiness and deliver death to her doorstep.
If she had a choice, she preferred that she was never reborn so soul swapping with Mira never happened. Being reborn was the cause of her never-ending miseries and sufferings.
If she had died, she would never have experienced extreme anger, sadness and depression.
But it's too late for that now. The Moon Goddess played a cruel joke on her, punishing her and tormenting her. Now it's time to put an end to that torment and take charge of her own destiny.
She went to the mini fridge, picked up chocolate bars, sat on the sofa and watched a murder documentary. It's fun to watch, enlightening and entertaining.
She spent the whole day watching true crime tragedies and by the time it was time for her to leave the house for her first kill, she was very inspired and energized.
She left the mansion at 4:00 in the afternoon and told one of the maids that she would go to the mall to buy personal stuff. She also sent a text message to her husband, informing him that she was going to the mall for shopping.
In reality...
She drives her car to a public park on the outskirts of the city. She chose the place because it is far from houses and the lighting is dim at night.
She parked her car near the bakery store, grabbed her shoulder bag and began walking around the park observing the area. She passed by a few homeless people sitting on benches, old and frail, looking hungry, hopeless and lonely.
Their eyes were empty, barely surviving. She could help them by putting an end to their suffering by killing them.
After walking around the entire length of the park, she saw a total of five homeless people. Five pathetic souls begging for some kind of relief and immediate release from their miseries.
This world is a cruel place for them to live in.
This world doesn't care about them.
Therefore, it's now her duty to help them achieve eternal peace and relieve them of their earthly burden.
But before she kills them, she wants to see them smile for the last time.
She walked back to where she parked her car, entered the bakery and bought delicious muffins, bread, cookies, a water bottle, soda and distributed the food to the five homeless people living in the park.
The smile of happiness on their faces and their thank you speeches warmed Luna Rosie's heart, but didn't diminish her desire to end their lives.
She also emptied her wallet and gave them $5K each. The smiles on their faces were priceless.
"Thank you dear, you are an angel sent to me from the heavens above. I'm so hungry and I pray for food and God grants my wishes instantly, using you as his vessel. Thank you so much, dear! You have a kind soul. God bless you," the homeless woman said happily, counting the money several times, putting it in the pocket of her tattered pants, making sure it would never get stolen from her.
'This old woman will be my first victim tonight!' She thought to herself.
The beggars began to warm up to her after she gave them money and food.
'These stupid fools will all die tonight in my hands!'
She stayed beside the homeless woman, listening to her chatter. The old woman told her about her tragic life as a widow and later got kicked out of her rented room and became jobless and abandoned by her own children.
Such a perfect victim!
She opened her shoulder bag to get her weapon.
Her fingers came into contact with the sheath of the knife.
It's time to kill her first victim.
