After settling into her new room, Mira explored her new phone. But she didn't call or send a message to Alpha Gideon because she didn't want to disturb him. She will wait for his text, which is the best thing to do.
She looked around the room, equipped with a 45 inch smart TV, liking its spacious space and big windows. She liked the bed. It was comfy.

One hour later, Lena entered the room and announced, “Dinner is ready.”
“OK.” Mira put the phone on the bedside table and left the room.
The women sat on the chair facing the table and began eating their delicious meal.
“Alpha Gideon really cares about you…” Lena commented casually.
“Um, why did you say that?” Mira asked.
“Because when I checked the fridge and the pantry in the kitchen, it was already stocked with groceries, vegetables, meat, spices and dry goods. We got everything we needed to cook delicious meals every day for the entire week,” Lena said merrily, putting a slice of chicken tender in her mouth.
“The house was sparkling clean when we arrived here, which means Alpha Gideon makes sure his unborn child is living in a clean environment and will not starve. Everything he does is for the nourishment of his precious offspring growing in my tummy,” Mira stated casually, but deep inside she was happy because he really cared deeply about her health and well-being.
Lena rolled her eyes. “Still pretending, eh? When I know deep inside you are just trying to play safe.”
Mira giggled. “Can you blame me?”
“No.” Lena smiled. “Actually you are a lucky girl, very lucky to be reborn in the body of Luna Rosie. You are very blessed.”
Mira took a deep breath, roaming her eyes around the kitchen. “I like this house. I feel at home here because it’s far from Luna Rosie and the royal family. I feel at ease here and be myself. No need to worry about what others think about me.”
Lena nodded her head. “I just hope Luna Rosie doesn't come here and pick up a fight with you. I know Luna Rosie too well. She would not sit and do nothing. I have a bad feeling about this. I think this current setup will not end well,” she said anxiously.
Mira patted Lena’s arms gently, trying to calm her. “Stop worrying about your fears. If that time comes, we will avoid Luna Rosie. We will shut the door on her face because we don’t want to deal with her anger and sadistic behaviour. Don't worry, if she comes here and starts a fight I will immediately ask Alpha Gideon to come here. I’m sure he will defend us from his wife’s intrusion,” she assured her anxious companion.
“OK. Let’s just enjoy our peace while it lasts.” Lena continued eating her meal.
Mira was trying to sound calm but deep inside she knew that kind of situation would eventually come. The truth is she doesn't know how to face Luna Rosie when it happens. The only thing she can do is protect the baby in her tummy, and Alpha Gideon’s responsibility is to restrain his wife. The rest doesn’t matter anymore.
After they finished eating their meal, Lena washed the dirty dishes, while Mira sat on the verandah, admiring the beautiful view of the lake, and enjoying the evening breeze.
She was holding her new phone in her right hand, debating whether to greet Alpha Gideon good evening or not at all.
After a few minutes of internal debate she finally composed a short message and sent it to him. In her message she greeted him good evening and told him to eat dinner on time.
A few moments later she received a reply from him, saying he had just arrived at the hospital to see his wife and he would sleep there for the night.

That’s all. She was expecting him to say I love you, but he never did. She waited for another message from him. But she was disappointed.
After one hour of waiting, she finally realized she would no longer receive any new messages from him that night. She finally gave up, entered the house, locked the door and went to her room to retire for the night.
After brushing her teeth in the bathroom, and changing into her pajamas, she lay down on the bed and hugged the extra pillow close to her heart, imagining it was Alpha Gideon, hugging her.
She breathed heavily, feeling miserable, trying to stop herself from crying.
No! She doesn't want to cry tonight for that immature reason. She must act like a mature adult and learn to accept that Alpha Gideon is not always romantic towards her. It’s her fault because she expects so much from him.
Still tears roll down her face no matter how hard she tries to stop them.
She looked at her pet with tear-stricken eyes. Brownie was staring at her face. Maybe her pet was wondering why she was crying.
“I’m fine, don’t worry about me. Go to sleep,” she murmured, drying her tears with the blanket.
The snake settled in the space beside her.
After one hour, Mira finally drifted into a deep slumber.

The next day.
Mira woke up late at 8:00 in the morning, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The first thing she does after waking up is enter the bathroom to gurgle water in her mouth, splash water on her face and finally leave the bedroom to help Lena with breakfast preparation.
When she arrived in the kitchen, food was already arranged on the table, a ham and cheese sandwich, scrambled egg and hot chocolate coffee.

After eating, she covered the food, put the dirty dishes in the sink and washed them.

“He’s here!” Mira’s heart leapt in joy.
He entered the house and proceeded to the kitchen after Lena told him where she was.
