Chapter 34 Agreement

Chapter 34 Agreement
She glanced at Luna Rosie busy putting her clothes in the bag. Since her fate was already written by Luna Rosie, she might as well help her. She walked back to the bed and began folding clothes.
“What are you doing?” Luna Rosie glared at her.
“Helping you so you will finish faster because I want to go to the garden, see the flowers and breathe fresh air,” Mira replied.
Luna Rosie sent daggers into Mira’s eyes. “Remember this…all these are my expensive clothes. Everything you are wearing right now is mine and you are using them freely. All the things you enjoyed today belonged to me. You have nothing in your name! But because I’m a kind person I will give you all these things, but you have to repay my kindness by confessing the truth to my husband. Do you understand?"
“I got you.” Mira nodded her head, sighing inwardly. The bitch never fails to remind her of how worthless her life is. She was used to her pathetic life, being a lowly servant with a scar-laden face. She felt normal under the veil covering her ugliness, protecting her from people’s harsh stares. Luna Rosie made sure that she knew that her destiny would never change.
Luna Rosie won the crown as the meanest bully in the entire universe but despite her mean attitude, she still has a few good sides.
“Don’t ever fantasize that my husband will love you after learning the truth. So you better wake up before fantasy blinds your eyes. My husband will never fall for you after he learns about your true identity. Honestly, there’s nothing worth loving about you,” Luna Rosie added coldly.
“I know,” Mira responded with a sigh, her cruel words cut her so deep, she was on the verge of tears.
Luna Rosie saw the tears shone in Mira's eyes. “Are you hurt by my words? Do you feel insulted?”
“Yes, I am hurt. Your words are too cruel for my fragile heart. You don’t care about my feelings at all,” Mira said miserably.
Luna Rosie rolled her eyes. “Sometimes the truth hurts, but it has to be done to remind you of who you are. You're getting so used to your current pampered life that you think it will last forever? Have you forgotten that I’m still here? I am the original owner of your body. I just want to poke your bubble with my needles so that your inflated ego doesn't distract you from confessing the truth to my husband. So don't blame me, this is not my fault!”
“It’s not my fault too,” Mira reasoned in a defiant tone.
Luna Rosie hissed. “You are the reason all these things happen to us. Because you fantasize about my husband and my life. In short all of these are your fault!”
Mira chose silence instead of retaliation, too tired to argue with someone who already had made up her mind.
After they finish packing, the women proceed to the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
“You want some drinks? How about fruit?” Luna Rosie asked.
“Fruits sound good. If there’s mango, banana, watermelon or strawberry, you can bring some here,” Mira replied casually. “Just bring whatever fruit the pantry has,” she added.
“OK.” Luna Rosie left the gazebo, heading to the kitchen.
Mira enjoyed the gentle breeze circulating around the open gazebo. There's a fan hanging from the ceiling above her head but she’s not using it because the fresh air in the garden is enough for her.
She shifted her attention to the colorful flowers growing like mushrooms in the garden, admiring their lovely color. Green plants are good for vision. Her eyes landed on the thick ferns growing nearby. Their vibrant green color was cool to the eyes.
Suddenly, the ferns started moving and Mira stood up. What is hiding beneath the ferns responsible for producing such movement? Could it be the rodents or the snake? It could be anything.
She was tired of guessing what it could be. She must uncover the truth today and see with her own eyes what is hiding beneath the ferns. She stood up, but when she looked at the ferns again the movement completely stopped.
Ah, whatever it is, it must have left already.
Luna Rosie returned to the gazebo carrying a tray with slices of ripe mangoes. “Let’s eat!”
“OK.” Mira took one slice and began eating. “So sweet,” she commented appreciatively.
The women enjoyed their fruit snack.
After the snack was over, Luna Rosie suggested, “Do you want to see the bungalow house—the place where you will be staying after confession?"
Mira fell silent for a moment. Ah, she remembered that house at the end of the property. She was assigned to cleaning it with other servants in the past. But she hadn't seen that house for a while. Curious about the condition of her future home, she replied, “Alright, let's go there. I want to see the house.”
“OK. Wait for me, I’ll bring the tray to the kitchen first.” Luna Rosie picked up the tray and left the gazebo.
Mira looked at the fountain nearby, staring at the water cascading from the clay pot that the mermaid was holding in her hands.
A few minutes later.
Luna Rose returned to the gazebo and said, “Do you want to walk or ride the E-buggy to reach our destination?”
“The buggy sounds nice. I prefer it,” Mira replied.
“OK, follow me.” Luna Rosie said and led the way.
The women arrived at the garage area and spoke to the family driver, who was waiting there.
“Greetings, Luna Rosie.” The driver bowed his head.
“Can you please take me to the bungalow house at the end of the property? I want to see it,” Mira said.
“Sure, give me a moment Luna.” The driver ready their transportation.
A few moments later, the women can be seen riding the E-buggy. The vehicle was moving smoothly on the path leading to the bungalow house.
After a short drive, they finally arrived at their destination.
The women left the buggy and walked to the bungalow house.
Mira smiled. Nice! The house was still in good condition. She was pleased to know that her future residence was not only clean and spacious, but it also had its own pond.
“Let’s get inside so you can see your future house,” Luna Rosie said in a low voice.
“OK.” Mira followed her inside the house. In the past, the house was cleaned once a month until the next guest arrived. The furniture was covered with a white cloth, protecting it from dust. It has three bedrooms, with functional kitchens and bathrooms. The nice verandah outside gave her a nice view of the man-made pond in front of the house. A perfect place to stay and recuperate while recovering from her separation from Alpha Gideon.
Luna Rosie faced Mira. “I want you to stay here comfortably because you are carrying my unborn child in your tummy,” she said casually. “As I said before, all your daily needs will be covered by the royal family. Then...after my husband finds a powerful shaman that can perform a successful soul swap between us. I will give you a reward…” she said.
Mira raised a brow. “Huh? W-what reward? You told me that you would punish me after you got your body back. Now you want to give me a reward after a successful swap? Tell me which of your claims are true and which are lies?” she asked suspiciously.
Luna Rosie’s face turned serious. “I told you before that if you cooperate with me and confess to my husband the truth I will be kind to you. I will treat you right. I plan to take you to a doctor who specializes in face surgery to remove the scar on your face. Then I will give you money so you can start a new life when you leave this mansion. It’s your chance to do something good with your life. Don’t be content with just being a maid all your life. Pursue other goals,” she said, her tone filled with sincerity.
“A-are you...are you serious? That you really care about my well-being? Or is this another scheme of yours?” Mira asked worriedly, surprised by the sudden shift in her personality.
Luna Rosie sighed. “I know I've been rude and cruel to you all this time. I wanted to say I’m sorry for treating you badly. It’s just a normal reaction from someone whose life was stolen from her. You can’t expect me to feel happy after everything that has happened to me. From a happy pregnant woman I morph into this grumpy monster because of the soul swap. Can you blame me? I’m sure you will feel the same if you are in my shoes, right?”
Mira nodded her head. “Yeah, I agree.”
“So, let’s forgive each other and start anew in our relationship. From now on I will no longer yell at you and I will not insult you anymore. Is that okay with you? Deal or no deal?” Luna Rosie asked, her tone serious.
Mira smiled. “That would be great because I’m so tired of your constant bullying. Alright, we have a deal!” She agreed wholeheartedly.
“Good. Now we are entering a new phase in our relationship. As long as you confess to my husband the truth, I will treat you right. You have nothing to worry about," Luna Rosie assured her.
“OK. I will give you the benefit of the doubt,” Mira said apprehensively.
“So what do you think of your new house? Would you like to live here until you give birth to my child?” Luna Rosie asked because she’s not sure how long they can find a shaman powerful enough to perform the soul swap.
“Yes, I like this house,” Mira responded cheerfully.
“Good. Now let’s go back to the mansion. They might be looking for us,” Luna Rosie said.
The women left the house and got into the E-buggy heading back to the mansion.
The afternoon passed peacefully.
The women are no longer at odds with each other after they reach an agreement in the bungalow house.
Night has finally arrived.
Mira was getting ready to visit her husband and serve him dinner. She was excited to please her husband with her handjob, a naughty secret she wanted to hide from Luna Rosie.
