Oh no!

The next day, Nima awoke to the warmth of the morning sun streaming through her window. It was a new day, a new opportunity to advance her mission, and her thoughts were as resolute as ever. She knew that her journey was far from over, and secrets were waiting to be unraveled.

Nima had made a promise to herself that she would act nicely to get more information from the ladies.

After a long and refreshing bath, she descended the staircase and made her way to the dining table. The aroma of a hearty breakfast wafted through the air, and she found the other ladies: Hazel, Juliet, Mia, Flora, Anita, and some other girls, they were already seated, chatting amicably.

She noticed that she had only met three sisters out of the five sisters that Alex had, and she wondered where the remaining two were.

"Good morning, Nima," Hazel greeted with a warm smile as Nima took her seat. "Did you sleep well?"

Nima nodded and replied, "Yes, I did. Thanks for asking, what about you?" She asked with a sweet voice.

"My night was great. I'm looking forward to the day ahead," Hazel replied with a smile.

Juliet, who sat beside Nima, chimed in, "Today is an important day for our mission. We'll be starting our training for the college mission, and we must stick and work together if we want to succeed."

"Hmm," Nima hummed, she wanted to ask more questions about the mission, but she didn't want to raise suspicion either.

As Nima dug into her breakfast, she observed the friendship among the ladies. They appeared to be a tight-knit group, united by a common purpose. Yet, she couldn't help but wonder how her presence might disrupt the harmony.

Yes, her presence was really going to affect them, because she didn't come for peace, she was here to eat their darling Alpha's heart.

Mia, who was sitting across from Nima, spoke with enthusiasm. "Nima, we'll be a strong team once we get to our mission venue, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. We can support each other through our training and any challenges that come our way."

Nima smiled and nodded, her heart heavy with the weight of her hidden agenda. "I'm grateful for your kindness and support. I look forward to being a part of this team."

Somehow, her heart was yearning for the type of friendship that this lady shared, but more than eighty percent of her heart was consumed with her quest for revenge.

The conversation at the table continued, filled with laughter and anticipation. The ladies discussed their training plan, their objectives for the college mission, and the importance of unity within the pack.

"You know, I plan to fuck as many guys as I can!" Hazel confessed, and the girls burst into laughter.

"Oh, Hazel! That sounds like a nice plan. Don't worry, I will assist you, all the way!" Flora replied with sarcasm.

"Omg! If Lanky should hear his baby girl's words, trust me he will turn wild, and he might go berserk!" Juliet joked, and Hazel nodded immediately.

"How about we tell him about it?" Becky asked with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Don't even think of it!" Flora growled and stood up playfully. Pretending to be angry.

The girls laughed at her, and Flora also joined in the laughter.

Nima watched them, and she secretly wished that she had friends back when she was alive.

Mia didn't say anything about what happened last night, and it seemed that the ladies had forgotten about it.

As the morning passed, Nima found herself feeling conflicted. On one hand, she was building connections with the people she had initially seen as her enemies. On the other hand, her thirst for revenge still burned within her.

She didn't know what to do, and she decided to seek Rody's help. But she could not, Rody might give her away, he may report to Dragoni. And Dragoni would definitely be mad at her.

The day continued, and Nima realized that she hadn't seen Alex throughout her time at the pack house. His absence was disturbing, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was aware of the little lie she had told Desmond and had chosen to keep his distance.

The ladies spent their day in a huge room, there were twelve in total, and a governess taught them how to behave properly once they got to college, she also taught them some important subjects, which every student is supposed to know.

Nima wasn't surprised when Mabel came to the front of the room, and to explain how to wear makeup.

And despite the governess's yells and threats, Mabel still refused to behave properly. She said that her brother and elder sisters would punish anyone who hurt her.

If it wasn't for Mia and Flora's pleas, Mabel would not have sat down.

"I also learned during the process that Mabel is the third-born, Mia is the fourth, and Jecinta is the youngest."

As the sun began to set, Nima retreated to her room to reflect on her life's events. Her alliance with Dragoni, the mysterious sisters, and her mission for revenge weighed heavily on her mind. She knew she had to find a way to get closer to Alex uncover the truth, and find out his weak spot.

Just as she was deep in thought, there was a soft knock at her door. Startled, Nima opened it to find Fred, the cloaked figure who had come to meet her the previous night.

"Nima," he greeted with a sly smile. "I hope you're having a pleasant day. I couldn't help but notice that you didn't have the chance to see Alex today."

Nima eyed him warily, her suspicions about Fred growing. "What do you want, Fred?"

Fred stepped closer, his voice hushed. "I have information about Alex, Nima. Information that you might find interesting. Would you like to know why he's been avoiding you?"

Nima's heart raced, and her curiosity got the better of her. "Tell me. What do you know?"

Fred leaned in his voice barely above a whisper. " I think Alex has found out about your mission, Nima. He's aware that you're here for revenge. That's why he's been avoiding you. He's trying to keep his distance and protect the pack from the danger you might pose."

Nima's world seemed to spin. The revelation was unexpected, and she was torn between anger and anxiety. "How does he know? Who told him!? "Who dares to do that?" She yelled at the top of her voice.

Fred's eyes gleamed with a mischievous glint. "I have my ways, Nima. But, I can help you get closer to Alex. I can be your ally in this mission, but in return, I want your heart."

Nima looked at Fred as if there were a screw loose in his head. After a while, she smiled slyly. "Fred, can I ask you for a favor?"

"A favor? That's strange, I thought demons are not supposed to ask, they are supposed to grab! Or are you starting to have a soft heart like the human!" He replied with a menacing smile.

I hissed, "Look, I know that you are lying, but—"

"That's a strong accusation leveled against me, do you have proof?" He asked and raised his brow like an innocent puppy.

"Look here demon, I don't have time for this! I need you to make sure that Dragoni doesn't do anything stupid at my back!" I replied.

"And in return?" He asked with raised brows.

I sighed "In return, I will treat you well in bed!" I replied and offered him a ghostly smile.

It was actually half truth, half lie.

"Then if is settled we will work together. Who knows, you might even start to catch feelings for me," he grinned at his own words.

"Fine, Fred," I said cautiously. " You better not betray me. I'll do whatever it takes to get to the truth about my death and that of my father."

Fred nodded, his smile widening. "Trust me, Nima, you won't regret this decision. We'll work together to uncover the weaknesses of this pack, and you'll get your vengeance."

Fred promised me, but if only I had known what was coming, I wouldn't have let my guard down.
