Her words only made everyone angry, even those who weren’t associated with Ivanna. Ivanna’s eyes went cold when she heard those words. She wondered how heartless Fiona was not to even be afraid as she threatened them.

“That’s why I am making your whole family pay for that price. Maybe you will be able to avoid prison, but your family will go bankrupt. Cause your family has money, that’s why you have such a big backbone. With it gone, what will you do? Mmh? Will you continue being arrogant here?” Ivanna asked coldly, making Fiona stop laughing.

“Also, who said that going to prison is the only way to pay for your crimes? I will beat you twice the amount you beat her, and burn you twice also. If you dare to go to the police. Hahaha, as I said, we are the law. Whenever we go, we will just turn the tables around and charge you for beating and burning Ivanna. At that time, we will just say that you did that to her in school, thus it would be regarded as bullying,” Isley said with a wicked smile on her face.

“You are crazy,” Fiona shouted when she heard their words.

“Oh? Let me show you how crazy I am,” Isley said as she took her dagger then started studying Fiona.

Without giving anyone time to react, she stabbed the latter in her thigh, making Fiona scream. “Shhh. You made a mistake calling me crazy. If you continue screaming, I will stab you on your other thigh,” Isley said as her dagger, which was filled with blood, shut Fiona’s mouth, making her freeze.

She wished she could faint, but how could she? Something told her that if she dared to feign it, she might be stabbed once more so that she could wake up. Inwardly, she thought that the latter was really crazy. To stab her in front of all of those people without even fear. However, she had learnt her mistake, and though she thought Isley was crazy, she wouldn’t dare call her that.

“See, if you could have behaved so quietly and obediently before, would any of this have happened?” Isley asked coldly, but she had a smile on her face.

“Too bad there isn’t a fire here. I would have burned you,” she said as she pouted, making people’s mouths switch.

“We can ignite fire there,” Nick said as he pointed at a fire furnace that was in the room. This made him earn everyone’s stare as they wondered whether he would be a pampering husband once the two got married. How come the two were just engaged but still supported her, knowing too well how wrong her actions were?

Fiona panicked when she heard that.

“Can you please let me go. I promise, I won’t tell anyone your identity or that I was stabbed,” she said as she looked at Ivanna, who chuckled.

“Fiona, have you not yet realized your position? Are you in any position to negotiate with me? Also, trying to threaten me with that stab? For all I care, you can stare here the whole day, you keep bleeding till you die out of blood loss,” Ivanna said coldly, but she inwardly admired the latter’s courage. She was so shameless, even to this point.

“What else do you want? You already made my family go bankrupt, now she has stabbed me, and you still don't let me go?” Fiona said angrily and started shouting.

“Naah. Not yet. I have to wait till I receive a call that it has been ruined. Cause it seemed that you don’t believe that I can do it? Also, do you think that you can come and go whenever you want? When your family goes bankrupt, you will be poorer than your adopted parents. Hahaha, I even wonder how they will be able to afford your school fees. Oh, maybe they already completed paying it. But what about university? I don’t think you will be able to go,” Ivanna said with a smile on her face, but her eyes were so cold.

“You used to love to bully people, bully the poor in school. Do you think that those dominions of yours will even want anything to do with you when they discover that you have no money? I am so sure that they will be the first to start bullying you. The way you used to bully people, it would be your turn. How will it feel? I can just imagine the scene, how miserable you will be looking and begging for forgiveness and for them to let you go,” Hazel said as her eyes were filled with tears.

“Why are you crying?” Nadia asked as she couldn’t understand why the other party was crying, and she wasn’t the one being bullied.

“I am just happy. Hahaha. These are tears of happiness. You can’t understand,” Hazel said, making Ivanna and Abby smile faintly. The girl has always been a true friend.

Nadia, who had been watching everything, was first jealous when she saw how Ivanna had genuine friends who really cared for her. She had only thought that the latter just had a family that loved and cared for her till the youngsters walked in. Everything they have done so far it portrayed how much they loved and cared for her. This made her realise the gap between her and Ivanna. Those who had always been around her were just fakes who were after her identity.

At the same time, seeing how Isley treated Fiona, she trembled. When she recalled how Isley had played with the same dagger in her face, she knew at that time that Isley would have really stabbed her or even ruined her face. She was so grateful to Ivanna while also thinking that Isley had really gone slow and soft for her. At least, she told her, but with the lady in front of them, she didn’t announce anything; she just did it.

Fiona bit her lower lip, gritted her teeth as the pain became worse, and she started feeling aggrieved. There were a lot of people present, but none could tell Ivanna or this Isley to let her go. They all looked down on her cause she didn’t have a good background like them. The thought of it made her eyes full of hatred when she stared at the two of them. But inwardly, she blamed it on her parents for not being successful enough and not having a good background.

If the Baker's couple, who had rushed over, heard her words, they would be so angry that they would vomit blood and faint.

As they were being brought to the room, Mr Baker's phone started ringing. All of his phones rang at the same time, making him feel puzzled as to why he was being called. He took one of the phones and answered the call.

“Sir, the other companies are terminating contracts with us. They don’t even care how much they have to pay for the termination fee,” the secretary said, stunning Baker so much that he even halted.

“What do you mean? Can you please explain slowly?” he asked as he tried to control himself so that he won’t panic.

“I don’t know what is happening. They just started terminating the contracts. But another force is attacking us. Boss, we haven’t even paid the tax fee yet. Do you think that their actions will alert the officials?” the secretary asked, panickingly and worried.

Mr Baker stayed there frozen. He wasn’t a fool; the force that was attacking them was the one that was responsible for the terminations of the contracts. Those people who used to fight for his favor didn’t mind leaving him to fight on his own when something came up. They were all afraid of being implicated by him and did everything possible to prove that they didn’t have any involvement with him,

He took a deep breath to calm himself. At this time, her wife had already sensed that something was wrong. When the phones started ringing, she had not thought too much about it till she saw her husband’s pale face. When she recalled what happens when a company is about to go bankrupt, her face paled, her eyes blurred as she started feeling as if the earth was rotating.

The person who had been sent to go for them sneered when he saw how they were. He didn’t have to be told to know what was happening. They could only blame their brainless and stupid daughter for ruining all their hard work.

“Have you found out the party that is attacking us?” he asked his secretary.

“No, they have hidden themselves too well. Sir, what if you call the other bosses? Maybe they know something that we don’t know? That would help us in knowing how we can either fight or apologise,” the secretary answered, making Mr Baker fall into deep thoughts. He had initially disdained calling those people, but the second sentence made him waver.

“Do you want to first sit down and solve whatever is going on with you?” the man accompanying them asked coldly.
