“Why are you chuckling?” Isley asked as she looked at Ivanna in confusion.

“Happy that you are engaged. When will you two get married?” Ivanna said teasing her sister. How could she let this chance slip? Isley immediately glared at her before turning her face as she didn’t want Ivanna to see there was something wrong with her.

“Why are you avoiding me? Don’t tell me that you are blushing,” Ivanna said as she laughed. Though she was eighteen, her soul wasn’t, she was older than Isley so no matter how Isley pretended to be matured, Ivanna felt that she was still a kid.

“Ivanna,” Isley said before walking hurriedly making Ivanna laugh loudly.

“You should stop teasing her. What if she gets angry at you and doesn’t talk to you?” Averett asked Ivanna as he walked beside her after Isley walked away.

“You have a twin so you can’t understand,” Ivanna retorted stunning Averett who looked at her sister with curious gazes.

Seeing his gaze, Ivanna sighed and said, “She can’t say mad at me for long. If I am not wrong, she will sneak when I am asleep and cuddle me.”

Hearing this, Averett was so jealous. He wished that his mother had snatched Ivanna when she was an infact so that he could also sleep with his sister but now they were already grown up, how could such a thing happen? He was so jealous of Isley and even wished that he were Ivanna’s twin.

If Ivanna knew what he was thinking, she would have been dumbfounded before starting to laugh.

“Oh by the way, Floyd is here, do you want to meet him? After all, he is your fiancée?” Averett said. Though he had not been present at home, he still knew what was going on there.

“No need. I will only see him after he cancels his engagement with the Martinez girl. I don’t want to be labelled as a homewrecker. Though we know the truth about the matter, the public don’t. Their mouths can accuse whoever they want,” Ivanna said and Averett remained silent as he understood everything better than his sister as he was in the entertainment industry.

“Okay, I will text elder brother and tell him about that. However, there is no way I am going to tell that man what you said as I don’t want him to snatch you away,” Averett said before adding, “Its okay Nick married Isley as soon as possible so that I can have another sister but you can’t marry anytime soon. If possible, you should get married after reaching thirty.”

His words made Ivanna speechless. She felt that if she reached that age without getting married then it was better not to get married.

After her reborn, she had thought that she might stay single as she didn’t want any man in her life. However, the presence of her new family, the Barnes, the uneasiness and insecure vanish. Even as time passed, her urge for revenge started vanishing. She stayed so much with her family that she subconsciously didn’t even have time to get her revenge. She even didn’t know whether it was a good thing or not.

Still, she knew that even if she had not done anything to the Bakers, she knew that her eldest brother wasn’t so free. He knew that he had been suppressing the Bakers business every time they would try making a move or getting a project. He would guide the employees into biding and winning it. For this reason, she had relaxed a little bit.

But she understood that her good days were about to end. When Fiona went home and told her parents about her identity, how can they relax and not get benefits from them?

She was determined not to let them get near her family and even teach them a lesson before they even got a chance to. She wanted to make them so busy making them not have any time to cause trouble for her. She only had a few weeks left before she did her exams.

“What are you thinking so hard, huh?” Averett asked when she noticed that she was deeply lost in thoughts. However, Ivanna didn’t hear him at all.

He nodded her forehead making Ivanna frown and look at him with confused eyes.

“Did you hear what I just said?” Averett asked wanting to see whether she was really lost or she was just pretending not to hear him as he had been talking about Floyd.

Immediately she saw Ivanna walking off the stage, Fiona hurriedly stood up. The few students who had come with her looked at each other but remained sitted. They knew that whatever Fiona wanted to do, would offend the Barnes and they weren’t willing to sacrifice their families business cause of her stupidity.

However, Fiona couldn’t get to the backstage as it was hurriedly guarded. There were Averett’s and Nick’s fans so how could the Barnes not be cautious? What if someone sneaked in and hurt the girls? They weren’t even worried about the brothers but Ivanna and Isley seeming to forget Isley’s other identity.

Seeing that she couldn’t reach out to Ivanna, Fiona felt frustrated and walked towards where the VIPs were sitted. She had seen the men who had always accompanied Ivanna in school and knew where they were seated. They were her targets. She was filled with fury, hatred and jealousy.

At the same time, Nadia was walking towards the same place thinking that she could talk to her mother as she had seen but deep down, she had another agenda.
She couldn't just give up her precious identity and make the young ladies in the capital laugh at her. There was no way she would allow that or even become poorer than them. The only way was to scheme and scheme perfectly before she was ruined.
