Camilla heard someone sigh and said, "It will happen as soon as you awaken me. I did nothing. I barely have half my ability, and it is completely uncontrollable. As long as you don't discover my body, it will happen repeatedly. "
"Who the hell are you?" Camilla asked.
Camilla heard a chuckle and then heard her voice again, completely disregarding Camilla's question.
"This is not your cup of tea. But the fact is, I'm curious to learn more about Adela."
"What is it?" Camilla questioned.
For a minute, Camilla heard nothing. So she reasoned that perhaps the spirit had left again. But just as she was going to open the door, she overheard, "It's just about her power."
Camilla asked again, "Power?"
After taking another pause, Anesthesia's spirit announced to Camilla in an authoritative tone, "I guess I am done here. Just remember not to bother me in this way in the future. I'll do whatever I want, if I want to. You have no right to stop me if I wish to kill your close friend. So, make yourself the way I desire. You sacrificed everything in order to become stronger. So be courageous in dealing with it."
[Swoosh].
Camilla lowered her head, and her foot hit the ground. While kneeling, she closed her eyes. She formed a pitiful look while chewing her bottom lip. She appeared to have done something bad, for which she had to endure the consequences for a long time.

Everyone was looking forward to the next announcement. However, the field was still being repaired. They could start round 2 on a different field, but it would be risky because everything was left open to the other fields. They were at a loss for time because they needed to go to Sofia as quickly as possible.
James perused his surroundings before turning to look at his father. He needed to act immediately. It was time, and if he convinced his father to end the round here, then it would be a plus point for him. As James considered it, he approached the emperor and addressed him respectfully.
"Father, I have a suggestion for you."
"James, what is it?" Draven questioned. At that moment, everyone was mingling and sipping on the royal wine while snacking on food. Maple wine was the kingdom's most famous wine, and people were fortunate since the emperor commanded everyone to give it out for free. It's possible the emperor was in a good mood.
James looked away as he spoke and said, "Father, I don't think the sorcerers will restore it tonight. As you are aware, we are traveling to Sofia, so we require additional personnel. Therefore, I would advise that you stop round 2 and allow us to choose our warriors. Because the more we are late, the more we will be late for the mission. If we quit in the second round, we'll take the chance to travel to Sofia the following day."
Draven intently listened to James. He turned his attention away from James and remained silent for a while. It seemed he was considering James's suggestion. He touched his beard, and while rubbing, he sighed like a wise man, then said, "Not bad, James."
He smiled at James and said with a satisfied tone, "I am really glad you are being so smart. You are not like your older brother. You know exactly how to handle the situation."
James wasn't expecting his father to compliment him, but it was enough. He knew he might subdue his father gradually before taking over the entire country. After that, no one could stop him from taking control of the kingdom.
Draven summoned an imperial guard to arrive. He said something to him after that. When he heard what Draven said, he curtsied and left the space. James grinned when he saw that. Finally, he was going to have what he desired.

Adela was strolling about as if she was seeking someone. She came to a standstill in the midst of the crowd and peered around. She resumed her stroll. She abruptly heard Max's voice. When she turned around, she said, "Senior."
"Are you looking for Camilla?" Max said as he came near.
"Yes."
"Is everything alright?" he asked.
"How is that possible, senior? I believe you pay attention to everything," said Adela. As they were conversing, they noticed Ron dashing from the crowd with an imperial guard. Adela turned her attention to Max after Ron.
"Adela, I believe Camilla will be chosen for this expedition," Max sighed and said.
"She will. Senior, I need your help. The point is, I want you to keep a close relationship with her. These days, she hardly even tolerates me. I don't understand why." Adela spoke while moving her focus.
"I'm not fit to be her bodyguard," said Max.
Hearing Max, Adela suddenly said, "I know you are not, but you like her."
Max's eyes startled when he heard Adela say something unexpected. He never expected to hear it from Adela. He spoke hesitantly. "What — what are you saying?"
"Senior, you are well aware of what I am saying. Therefore, kindly stay by her side and make every effort to keep her safe."
Adela said with no hesitation and walked from there, leaving Max there alone. Max was astounded after hearing it all. Everything happened so rapidly that he did not have time to consider his options. Max walked away from him and lightly brushed his hair.
Ron, who was on the other side, approached the emperor and bowed. "Your Royal Highness,"
"Ron, set up the options for choosing. Round 2 has been postponed for this year."
Ron started to become anxious, and he asked, "Your highness. What are you saying, exactly?"
"Yes, carry it out."
But Ron was hesitant to act. When Draven observed him, he said, "Is something wrong?"
"Your Royal Highness, what if the other participants rebel regarding the circumstances?"
After giving Ron a serious look, Draven remarked, "You know what I can do with them if it happens."
Ron swallowed, then curtsied and stuttered, "I-I get it, your royal highness."
After saying this, Ron sprinted away from the spot. James saw it and grinned slightly. He was truly joyful, but he could not convey it to anyone. He was keen to add Adela to his team. Adela was going to become him in a short while.
Ron ran through the crowd and entered their senior meeting room, where Francis and other important members were there. He entered while gasping. Seeing him in that miserable state, Paul asked, "What is it, Ron? Why are you rushing?"
"The emperor has sent us some news. And we have to go right away," Ron remarked.
Francis, however, was not in a good mood because he had not expected Adela's arrival. God did not listen to him. So, with a foul attitude, he said, "Is the field ready?"
"We don't need the field prepared right away," Ron answered.
Everyone exclaimed in a surprised tone, "What?"
"Yes, the second round will not be held this year," Ron said.
"What do you mean? Therefore, what happened to our match and expedition?" Francis asked with a narrowed gaze.
"Don't worry; it will happen just like previously. Only the second round this year has been canceled. Let's now proceed to the field. I've received an instant order for it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ron hastily left the chamber. Paul and others went after Ron. But upon hearing that, Francis was a little taken aback. As he left the chamber, he considered what would happen if the participants revolted.
Standing on the corner, Alfred and David exchanged words, and Alfred narrowed his gaze. "What?" he said in a serious voice.
"Yes, Alfred. I've heard this from Camilla," David responded.
Everything that David's daughter said to him was conveyed to Alfred. That was a serious issue for them. As far as David knew, there was no such regulation. So why did Camilla tell him that someone had taken a sample of her blood?
Alfred nodded his head in a negative way and said, while pondering something, "It's impossible, David. Because there is no such rule. Why did someone take Camilla's blood?"
"Yes, Alfred, I am aware of the same. But it happened," said David.
Alfred pondered David's comments as he furrowed his brows. David was right, so who would have wanted to draw Camilla's blood? Were there others who were playing another game with them, or was there someone among them who was playing with them? Alfred needed to find out.
[Targoviste]
The fight between Veronica and the Lycan got underway quickly. Except for Richard, everyone was engaged in battle. Richard had a slight calmness in his heart as long as he continued to hold the crystal, but the figure did not budge. He wondered whether he was the only one who could see the hazy figure as he stared at it. He turned to face Veronica again before turning to the others, as he thought. No one could notice that figure except him.
Richard clenched the crystal firmly and yelled to get Veronica's attention, "Duchess, if you don't open the barrier, I will break it."
Veronica strained her eyes as she considered the prince's obstinacy.
'The first prince is really grating on my nerves. If we don't fight, I'll give him a solid lesson. He really irritates me.'
While fighting the Lycan, Veronica had a thought. Veronica pondered why the Lycan was so powerful. The prince wasn't wrong; the Lycan was really strong. Someone must have bewitched the Lycan, but who could it be? Veronica wondered as she fired another fireball towards the Lycan.
To be continued.
