The Loss Of Feelings
His hands were clenched and shaking, he wanted to rebel, show his disagreement with the one-sided plan.
Braaakkk...
He could no longer hold back the anger that he kept holding back. Leonidas hit the table hard, making a sound that everyone was surprised to hear. The force was so strong that it even cracked the table. The Queen Mother held her chest, she almost had a heart attack because of her grandson's actions.
"Leo, what are you doing?"
"Father, do I always have to follow everything you say? Tell me, do I always have to follow everything you tell me?" The anger was very clear in his voice. His father's ambition and arrogance cost him the woman he loved.
He didn't know what sin his ancestors had committed that he had to receive this kind of punishment? He doesn't want anything, wealth and throne, because all he wants is to spend his whole life with Disha.
Seeing his reckless actions did not allow the emperor to understand his feelings. He thinks that Leonidas is too excessive in looking at the love he has for the first time in his life.
He was too naive and thought that his life would be much better without the power and throne that had been inherited from him. He considers that love is above everything. Love has so blinded his fan's eyes, that he cannot see things that are much more valuable.
"Leonidas, I am sure that without needing to be told, you must know that you have obligations that you cannot violate. You are destined to be the future emperor and the future emperor should not be selfish. You must put the interests of the country above your own!"
"Why should I care about all this? What's the point of me doing all this if I'm not happy...?" He shouted in frustration. His shoulders were shaking. The image of that face always bothered him every time he tried to forget it.
That smile, the soft voice that always called his name and his hug that felt so warm. He really missed everything. His heart ached and although he hoped that time would heal his wounded heart, the torment he felt now made him unable to wait for tomorrow to arrive.
Tears dripped from his eyes even though he didn't want to cry anymore. The blood that flows in his body determines how he will behave when he loves or hates something.
When a feeling of love that is difficult to grow in his heart appears, that love will grow and blossom until its roots even refuse to be released from the ground. That love will be so strong that he can't think of anything else but the love in his heart. However, when the feeling that arises is hatred, it will transform into the most savage and cruel creature that has ever existed.
He still has that love in his heart, love for the only woman and he hopes that the someone he loves will return to him before that love turns into hate.
Leonidas let out a very heavy breath. He knew that none of them would care about his feelings. His father was right, he was too naive and confident that he could control everything, including his feelings. Even though the reality is that his feelings control him.
He didn't want to argue anymore, because he knew from the start that his father would win. Who could refuse the emperor's orders? Even though he was the emperor's son, he did not have the authority to refuse.
Leonidas decided to leave the dining room to calm himself down. Once again he tried to suppress his feelings and restrain himself every time the anger flared up and took control of him.
"Leonidas, where are you going?" Empress Veronika asked. She was worried about her son even though she couldn't show it.
"You will marry, Leonidas! Make sure that you will provide the next heir for Almaric." Said the Emperor. Leonidas didn't move, he didn't want to say anything else. As a future emperor, he had to immediately have descendants who would inherit the power and power of the Almaric dynasty.
He didn't know whether he could still hope that Disha would come back someday and bring their son who should have been born into this world. He was sure that the child in Disha's womb was his, not Lucien's. He was sure that Disha had not betrayed him at that time. Right now he just wants to meet Disha and their children who are now who knows where they are.
His feet stopped right in front of a garden decorated with a large labyrint. The park holds beautiful memories between the two of them. He still remembered how they made out in the maze, embracing each other under the moonlight.
He looked up at the sky, looking at the moon shining behind the clouds. He wondered, is Disha currently seeing the same moon as him? Does Disha miss him now as much as he misses her?”
"Disha, I beg you to go home! I'm not angry with you anymore. I swear I won't be angry with you anymore. I will forgive you no matter how big a mistake you make, I will forgive you. That's why I beg you to go home, Disha! Go home and take it back my love."
He didn't understand why everyone forced him to kill his feelings, when he still had so much love he could give.
He walked with unsteady steps into the dark labyrinth, only the moonlight illuminating this place. He still felt as if he heard Disha's voice.
Maybe he's crazy, maybe he's really sick. He felt like a body without a soul, where the only thing that lived inside him were the beautiful memories with the woman he loved which would live forever in his heart, even though one day he would lose his ability to feel love, but he swore that his love for Disha will live forever.
