Chapter 28 I'll Never Came Into Your Life

Chapter 28 I'll Never Came Into Your Life
I suddenly begin to feel strange.

My body grows unbearably hot, as if something inside me is burning. The very next moment, a chill creeps in, so sharp that it makes my skin prickle. I try to ignore it, forcing myself to stay calm. I lie down on the bed and pull Ria into my arms, holding her close.

The second I hug her, my breath catches.

Her body is burning too far too warm. In that instant, I understand. Ria is not well.

My eyes fill with tears. Something inside my chest cracks open. I am exhausted tired of life, tired of enduring pain after pain. I feel like I no longer have the strength to fight anymore. Sitting there in silence, holding my child against my heart, I feel completely broken.

Then suddenly, sound comes from near the window.

My body stiffens. I turn my head slowly, fear gripping my spine.

A man is hanging outside the window.

My breath stops.

It’s Neil.

For a moment, my mind refuses to process what I’m seeing. He struggles, trying to pull himself in, and says in a shaky voice, “Babydoll… help me… I’m going to fall.”

My heart starts pounding violently. Driven by panic, I rush toward him and grab his waist, pulling him inside the room.

He stumbles in.

I look at him closely he is completely drenched, soaked through, whether from rain or something else, I can’t tell. My voice trembles as I whisper, “Y-you… here?”

I meet his eyes.

He is staring straight at me.

And in that single moment, every memory crashes back every wound, every mistake, every pain I tried so hard to forget.

I step back abruptly.

“Get out!” I scream, my voice shaking with rage and fear. “Leave my house right now!”

He steps closer, lowering his voice. “Calm down… Ria will wake up.”

Something inside me snaps.

Through my tears, I grab the table lamp beside me and hurl it at him with all my strength. He catches it midair.

Shock flashes across his face. “Kiara…?”

My anger only grows. “Go!” I shout. “I don’t want to hear anything!”

But suddenly he moves closer too close. I try to step back, but my legs give way.

The next moment is chaos the bed, tangled breaths, my racing heart, my terror.

I freeze completely.

He suddenly grabs my arm.

His grip is so tight that for a moment I can’t even move. The very next second, his hand touches my neck in shock, as if he’s trying to feel something.

His voice changes. “Oh God… you have a fever.”

Something inside me explodes. I jerk his hand away from my neck and scream with all my strength, “You have no right to worry about me! Even if I die, stay away from me!”

My voice is trembling, but my words carry both hatred and pain.

He snaps back angrily, “Shut up! You are mine. I have a right over you.”

My heart starts pounding violently. With tears in my eyes but firmness in my voice, I say, “No. You are nothing to me.”

Without hesitation, he replies, “I am your daughter’s father… and your future husband.”

My soul shudders at his words. I scream, “You have no relationship with Ria! None at all!”

My words are now drowning in tears.

Without saying anything, he immediately walks toward Ria. Before I can even understand what’s happening, he lifts her into his arms.

My heart feels like it’s tearing out of my chest.

“Ria!” I panic, my breathing is becoming uneven.

He looks at Ria’s face in shock, places his hand on her forehead, and says softly, “She has a fever too?”

Tears start flowing down my face. Crying, my voice breaking, I shout, “You don’t need to worry about my daughter! You’re an animal… a monster!”

Hearing this, he steps back slightly. His voice softens, “You’re misunderstanding me. Just listen to me once…”

But I don’t want to listen.

“I don’t want to hear anything!” I scream.
“Leave right now!”

I quickly snatch Ria from his arms and pull her into mine, pressing her tiny body against my chest as if I’m hiding her from the entire world.

He opens his mouth to say something, but before he can speak, I say, “If you ever loved me even for a moment, then for the sake of that love, leave my life. And never come back again.”

Silence fills the room.

He just keeps looking at me. There’s something in his eyes maybe pain, maybe shock, maybe defeat.

After a few moments, without saying a word, he turns toward the window and quietly jumps down.

My heart starts racing.

I rush to the window and look down. He is walking away slowly, drenched in rain.

My eyes fill up. Tears fall on their own.

I whisper to myself, “So this was your love? You left the moment I told you to…”

I pull Ria even closer to my chest.

I slowly walk to the bed and lie down. The tears refuse to stop. My chest feels heavy, as if the weight of the entire world has fallen on me at once.

Ria is in a deep sleep. Her tiny breaths are steady, yet the warmth of her body fills me with fear.
I’m deeply worried about her health. Again and again, I place my hand on her forehead, silently praying.

Then suddenly, Knock… knock…!!!!

Someone knocks on the door.

I flinch. Who could it be at this hour? My first thought is maybe Dad has come, but so late at night?

I get up from the bed and slowly walk toward the door. My heart is pounding loudly in my chest.

The moment I open the door, I freeze.

Neil is standing there with a doctor is with him,
and Neil is holding a gun pointed at the doctor’s forehead.

My breath catches. With a gesture, Neil signals the doctor to come inside. The doctor enters nervously. At the same time, I see Dad standing behind them his face filled with shock and confusion.

Everyone walks into the room. Neil says in a hard voice, “Sit on the bed.”

I glare at him angrily and shout, “Neil!”

The doctor immediately folds his hands and pleads, “Ma’am, please sit down tonight, or I’ll lose my life.”

His words make me feel sick. My anger rises even more. I stare at the doctor and say bitterly, “I’ve never seen a bigger animal than you in my life.”

Neil responds without any expression, “You won’t see one either, God didn’t create another like me.”

The doctor quickly checks Ria, then examine me. After a moment, he looks at Neil and says, “Because of the cold, both of them have a normal fever.

I’ve given the medicine, Just take care and protect them from the cold.”

Neil nods silently.
The doctor leaves.

An uncomfortable silence fills the room, Dad looks at Neil and asks softly, “Neil?”

Neil replies calmly, “Nothing… I just came for my love and my child. Now I’m leaving.”

He turns to go. And then, All the pain and anger inside me explodes.

I scream with all my strength, “I hate you!”

Neil stops.

Through tears and rage, I keep shouting, “No matter what you do, I will never come into your life! I hate you! I hate you!”

His back is facing me. Hearing my words, he closes his eyes for a brief moment.

Just one moment, Then silence remains.

TO BE COUNTINUE...!!!

Should I go back into his life?
