Before we got up the stairs my father opened the door.“ what did you miscreants do?”

I looked at both of them. Cyrus just blurted it out.“ I'm hiding from my wife”

I looked at him. “Why?”

“Can we please go inside first”

We headed inside. I walked over to the bar and got a scotch so did dad and Cyrus .

“I don't know what to do with Natalie, we've never had a problem before but I think the pregnancy changed her”

“ What do you mean? ”

“All she wants is sex ,the minute we're alone . I told her I'm working late and she's going over to your place ”.

“Eating certain things , waking up late , throwing up ?”

“Yes , yes and yes but that day she said she had a stomach bug” .

“Well son it seems like she's pregnant ”, dad said looking at me.

I pulled out my phone and called Dr Marshall and put it on speaker .

“Mr chase ”

“Yes or no?, Is my wife Pregnant?”

“ Yes or no ?”

“ Yes Mr Chase , but she made me swear not to say anything. She asked to do a test because she was late. When I confirmed it she was a bit shaken up ”

“Wait , do you think they planned this?”

I looked at Cyrus .“What do you mean?”

“I mean planned to get pregnant at the same time?”

“We'll only find out if they tell us"

Daniel called to say he was working late ,I didn't mind cause Riley was coming over . Natalie called me around five to see what I was up to. Apparently Cyrus was working late too so I invited her over . When they came over we sat and talked for a while. Riley shared her news with Natalie , she told us how Kevin proposed ,it was perfect and romantic and I was happy for her.

After Dinner we were sitting outside on the balcony drinking tea and I just Said it out loud. “ I'm pregnant”

Natalie looked at me and she had a smile on her face.

“ I'm pregnant. I found out the day I went to get the cast removed”

Riley hugged me. “I'm so happy for you Athena. Have you told Daniel?”

“ No I haven't ”

Natalie looked at me. “You're scared aren't you ?”

“Yes I am ,I don't know how he's going to react ”

“Where is he?”

“He said he's working late but I know he's lying, he's probably hiding from me”

Riley just looked at me. “Why would he hide from you?”

I started laughing.

“Well pregnancy screwed up my hormones and Everytime i see Daniel I just…..”
