Chapter 24 Officially Husband and Husband
"Mom, how do I look?" Barry asked his mom while fixing his bow tie.
"Stunning, son," Lauren smiled gracefully, admiring her son.
"I didn't know my son would grow as beautiful as you; mom is proud of you."
"Of course, I've got this look from my beautiful mother." Replied Barry cheerfully
"You're right, son," She said and raised her hands for a high five then the mother and son laughed.
"You are getting married to your beloved man in less than an hour from now. Cherish your husband to be, he is a gift for us from up above, he made us reunited again. I'll be forever thankful to him for loving you, for taking care of you, and for helping me out of the bars." She said on the verge of tears.
"Mom, don't cry, please." Barry gently wipes the tears from the corner of his mother's eyes. Just by the thought of her suffering from the past, Barry's heart would ache. "It will ruin your makeup, crying does not suit your beautiful face. And let's forget about the unfortunate past. Karma will knock on their door at the right time." He stated.
"That's right, for now; I'm just so happy, son." She responds and smiles so sweetly.
"Me too, mom. I can't find a place to contain my overflowing happiness right now."
A knock on the door interrupts the mother and son's moments.
"Auntie, Barry, it's time," Blaze calls and Barry opens the door.

Barry glanced at Liam," out of the blue, you made me believe in love again after the heartache that I've been through. You make me feel special in every possible way, you make my heart flutter in overflowing love and happiness. I'm so thankful that God has given me you." That was in Barry's mind.
God gave me you, baby.
In your arms, I'm someone new. Barry, before I met you, I didn't truly believe that a love like this, like ours, would exist. I thought of closing my heart from a relationship. At the very beginning, I set my mind, I won't fall in love, because I knew from the start that I'm not into the opposite. I don't want to be judged by a judgemental society. But then the moment I met you, you changed everything. Now, I could care less about others' opinions. I only care about you, because; God gave me you, Barry." Liam thought, glancing at Barry whilst they were approaching the podium.
They reached the altar and stood in front of the officiant facing each other.
"Welcome beloved, friends and family. We are gathered here today to celebrate and to witness the joining of these grooms in marriage." The officiant welcomes and thanks to everyone for gathering and witnessing Barry and Liam's special day.
After the officiant gave some advice, sermons, and read some verses; it's time for the vows and ring exchange
"The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity. It is an outward sign of an inward spiritual bond that unites two hearts in endless love. And now as a token of your love and your deep desire to be forever united in heart and soul.
Liam Fraser may place a ring on the finger of your man and pronounce your vows."
"You look so beautiful to me today, but know that you always look beautiful to me and will always be this beautiful to me, tomorrow, and the next day and the next. As gorgeous as you are right here and right now baby, I will only love you more and more each day of our marriage. I am Liam Fraser, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you, my love, Barry Carter."
Liam slid the ring on Barry's ring finger full of love and respect then bestowed a feather kiss on the ring after.
Officiant: By the same token, Barry Carter you may place a ring on the finger of your man and pronounce your vows.
“I never understood what it is to be truly loved, what it is to have your love wholly accepted, until you. You make me feel whole, not because you make up half of me, but because you accept all of me into the life we share together. I promise to always do the same for you. I am Barry Carter, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you, my love, Liam Fraser."
Barry inserted the ring onto Liam's finger and took it to his lips for a gentle kiss.
The officiant blessed and announced their marriage to seal it with a kiss.
