I was lying on the Couch in the living room, Scrolling through TikTok while Cassian was sitting across from me with his laptop.
I had been Scrolling mindlessly for almost thirty minutes, barely Paying attention to most of the videos appearing on my Screen.

Some were funny, some were romantic, and others were random videos that I immediately Skipped.
Then a woman appeared on my screen, and Something about her video made me stop Scrolling.
She was dressed in a beautiful suit, Standing inside what looked like a huge office while talking about her Career.

But what Caught my attention was the little girl sitting beside her.
The woman Smiled at the camera and explained how she had built her Company while raising her daughter.
She talked about long nights, meetings, motherhood, and the Challenges of balancing everything.

I watched the entire video without touching the Screen.
When it ended, I immediately replayed it.
There was Something about seeing a woman Successfully building her Career while being a mother that touched me.

I looked down at my Stomach and slowly Placed my hand over it.
Could I have a life like that too?
Could I become a Successful woman and still Come home to my child every evening?
Could I Sit in a boardroom during the day and hold my baby in my arms at night?

The thought made a Small smile appear on my face.
I Started imagining myself wearing a beautiful suit, walking Confidently into my own Company while my Child waited for me at home.

I kept Scrolling, but suddenly, almost every video Seemed to be about mothers and Careers.
One woman was Showing her morning routine before taking her children to School and heading to work.
Another was talking about how she Started a Small business while raising her Son.

Another woman was Standing inside her Company with her baby in her arms.
I stared at the Screen with wide eyes.
It felt like TikTok was Showing me exactly what I had been thinking about.
I smiled Softly as I imagined myself in their Place.

I Could see myself waking up early with my baby beside me.
I Could imagine getting ready for work while making Sure my child had everything they needed.
I Could imagine going to my company, attending meetings, making important decisions, and building Something of my own.

Then I Could imagine Coming home exhausted and Still finding enough energy to hold my baby.
The thought didn't make me feel trapped.
Instead, it made my heart feel Strangely full.
I wanted that life.

I suddenly Sat upright.
Cassian looked up from his laptop.
“What happened babe?”
I turned my Phone toward him.
“Look at this.”
He glanced at the Screen and looked confused.
“What am I looking at?”
I sSmiled.
“She has a Company and she's a mother.”

Cassian looked at the video before looking back at me.
“Okay?”
“Do you think I Can do that too?”
His expression immediately Softened.
“Why wouldn't you be able to?”
I Shrugged.
“I don't know.”

I looked down at my Stomach.
“Everything is going to Change once the baby Comes.”
Cassian Closed his laptop.
He Placed it on the table and turned his entire attention toward me.

“I still have to finish School, graduate, and build my own Career from the scratch too.”
Cassian Smiled.
“You already have one.”
I frowned.
“What do you mean?”

He moved Closer to me.
“Do you remember the Cosmetic company I established for you?”
I blinked, looking Confused.
He smiled.
“The Company I told you would be yours once you graduate, you Still don't remember?”

I Stared at him for a moment, then suddenly I Started remembering everything.
“I remember now, the one you gave me the documents for it then?”
“Yes.” He Said.

I Stared at him with a mixture of emotion.
“I almost forgot, so I don't have to Start from nothing?”
Cassian Shook his head.
“Not at all, you just have to finish School, then you can Step into your Position as the CEO.”

He reached for my hand.
“You don't have to worry about building everything from the ground up, I did that already.”
I looked down at our intertwined fingers.
“But what about the baby?”

“You'll be a mother and you'll Still be the CEO… There's no big deal there.”
I looked at him.
“You make it Sound so easy.”
He smiled.
“Because it is when you have Someone beside you.”

I felt my eyes becoming watery.
“I don't want you thinking that you have to carry everything alone… You're my wife, and that's our Child growing inside you.”
His thumb gently rubbed the back of my hand.
“I'll be there for both of you Surely.”

I Swallowed hard.
“I was Scared I'd have to choose between being a mother and building my Career.”
Cassian Shook his head.
“You don't have to Choose… You can have both and I'll make Sure you have the Support you need.”

I Stared at him.
“You've already done so much for me, Cassian..”
I laughed Softly through my tears.
“You're not even giving me a Chance to Struggle at all.”
He Chuckled.

“I don't want you Struggling unnecessarily and worry about things that I Can handle.”
I leaned Closer to him.
“What if I don't know how to run a Company or what if I make mistakes?”
“Then you'll learn.”

My lips Curved into a small Smile.
“You've really thought about everything.”
“I just wanted you to know that you never have to depend on anyone else for your dreams, I want you to be a boss on your own.”
My eyes filled with tears again.

I looked down at my Stomach.
“I’m happy that our baby will meet me as a Successful woman.
Cassian Squeezed my hand.
“You're going to be a Caring mother and a Successful CEO.”
“CEO and Mommy… I like the Sound of that.” I said.

Those two words made my Chest tighten.
Because it Sounded so Simple with Cassian beside me.
I leaned against his Chest and wrapped my arms around him.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.” He replied and kissed my forehead.

I Stayed in his arms for a few moments.
Then I opened my notes app and Started writing down my goals.
Finish School, graduate, become a CEO, build the Company, and become a good mother.

Cassian leaned over and read the list.
He Smiled.
“You forgot Something.”
I looked at him.
“What?”
“Be happy and never lose yourself.”
I thought about the words, then I added them to the list.

My heart felt lighter.
I didn't know exactly what the future would look like, but I knew I had a husband who believed in me.
I knew I had a Child waiting to enter the world, and I knew I already had a Company waiting for me.
I closed my Phone and Smiled.
