The next day, I was Sitting on the couch in the afternoon, Scrolling through my Phone when I noticed Cassian watching me instead of watching the television.
I glanced at him and frowned.
“Why are you Staring at me babe?”
He Smiled innocently.
“I'm not.”

“You are.”
“No, I'm not.”
I narrowed my eyes at him.
“You've been Staring at me for the Past five minutes now.”
He Chuckled.
“I was just making Sure you're okay.”

I rolled my eyes.
“I'm fine, Cassian.”
“Are you hungry?”
“No.”
His expression immediately Changed.
“It’s afternoon, Aria… What do you mean you're not hungry?”

He immediately Stood up.
“Wait here…. I’m Coming.”
I looked at him Suspiciously.
“Where are you going?”
“To get you Something to eat.”
“Cassian, I'm not Starving.”

He turned toward me.
“You're Pregnant… So you must eat time to time.”

A few minutes later, Cassian brought food into the living room and Placed everything in front of me.

“Are you trying to make me explode?”

“Then why is there So much food?”
“Because you need to eat as much as Possible.”
I Shook my head and Picked up my fork.

I had barely taken two bites when Cassian noticed my Phone in my hand.
“Put it down.”
I looked at him. “What?”
“Your Phone.”

“And why Should I do that?”

“Eat first.”

He nodded.
“Very.”
I placed my Phone on the table to avoid any more Complaints.
“Happy now?”
“Yes.” He Smiled.

After I finished eating, I Stood up.
Cassian immediately Stood up too.
I looked at him.
“Why are you following me?”
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going upstairs.”
“Why?”
“I want to Change into something more Comfortable.”

“I'll Come with you.”
I Stared at him.
“You're Coming with me to change Clothes?”
“To make Sure you don't trip on the Stairs.”
I burst out laughing.
“I'm not five years old, Cassian.”

He Smiled.

“Then stop following me everywhere.”
“I Can't.”
I rolled my eyes but Couldn't hide my smile.

He held out his hand and I looked at it.
“You're really Something else.”
I sighed and Placed my hand in his.
When we reached the bedroom, I walked toward the wardrobe and reached up to grab a dress from the top Shelf.

Before my fingers Could touch it, Cassian Stepped forward.
“I'll get it.” He said.
I lowered my hand.
“I Can reach it, Cassian.”
“No. I'd get it for you.”

He easily took the dress down.
“You See?”
“I Could have done that too.” I Protested.
“I don't want you to Stress yourself.”
He smiled Proudly.

I Shook my head.
“You're impossible.”
He handed me the dress.
“Anything else?”
“No.”
He watched me for a moment.
“Are you tired?”

“No, I’m not.”
“Dizzy?”
“No.”
“Feeling Sick?”
“No.”
“Any Pain?”

“Cassian… Why are you acting like this?”

“I'm just Checking.”
I walked Closer and wrapped my arms around him.

Later that afternoon, I decided to take a Short walk around the garden.
I Slipped on my Sandals and headed downstairs.
Cassian was in the living room when he Saw me.
“Where are you going?”

“To the garden.”
“Why?”
“I want Some fresh air.”
He immediately Stood up.
“I'm Coming with you.”
I sighed.

“It's just the garden.”

He walked over and took my hand.
“Come on, let’s go.”
We Stepped outside together.

The afternoon breeze felt Cool against my Skin.

I noticed it and Shook my head.
“You're watching me like I'm going to disappear.”

I Stopped walking and looked at him.

I Smiled and stepped closer to him.

Suddenly, I noticed a Small flower growing near the edge of the Path.
I Smiled and bent down slightly.
“Oh, that's Pretty.”
Before I Could reach for it, Cassian grabbed my hand.
“No.”

I looked at him.
“I'm just Picking a flower.”
“You don't need to bend down.”
“I was only going to—”
“I'll get it for you.”

He Crouched down, Picked the flower, and handed it to me.
I Stared at him before laughing.
“You're Seriously not letting me do anything?”
“Yep.”
I Shook my head.

“You're going to drive me Crazy.”
He smiled.
“As long as you and our baby are Safe.”
I looked at the flower in my hand, then I looked back at him.
For a moment, I felt Completely Safe.
