Chapter 19 Lullaby

Leon gently hugged me from behind and whispered in my ear, as if he was telling me a secret.

“That’s a temple dedicated to the moon god,” he said.

“Will there be witches living in the temple?” I asked curiously.

“No, no one lives in the temple. It has been abandoned for hundreds of years, and it is said that there is an eternal candle burning inside, which is why it burns all year round,” Leon explained.

“So no one has entered the temple?” I asked, full of curiosity about the temple with the eternal candle.

“It is said that an enchantment has been placed around the temple, and no one can enter,” Leon replied.

“Is there a legend about the temple?” I turned my head and looked at Leon expectantly, hoping he would tell me a story about it.

But instead, he pretended to yawn and said, “It’s too late, we all need to rest!” He then pinched my chin with his hand and asked, “If you’re not tired, we can do some exercises in bed. So, do you choose exercise or sleep?” “Well, I choose to sleep,” I grumbled in a low voice.

Before leaving, I took one last look at the temple standing atop the distant mountain peak, my heart still full of curiosity about it. I believed that one day, I would find the answers I was looking for.

As soon as I saw the soft, big bed in front of me, my body couldn’t wait to lie down. I had been full of vitality on the roof just moments before, but now my body felt heavy and sleepy, and my eyelids were as heavy as boulders.

I barely made it to the edge of the bed before collapsing, too tired to even take off my shoes. Someone helped me remove my shoes and gently moved my body to the center of the bed. It was Leon, and his movements were gentle, as if he were treating a baby. It was hard to believe that such a man could talk about killing people as easily as breathing. His gentle hand slowly moved up my thigh, and I closed my eyes, letting him explore my body.

“Stop! You said you would let me sleep well tonight,” I complained softly. “The werewolf needs to sleep!” Leon smiled, but his hand didn’t stop. He moved his hand up from my lower abdomen and stopped at my breast.

“I may be a smart student, but that doesn’t mean you’re qualified to educate me now!” Leon pinched my breast on purpose, sticking out his tongue and licking my lips.

“I’m used to having some snacks before bed!” he said with a mischievous smile.

“I’m tired!” I replied, my voice as light as a mosquito. I had almost exhausted all my strength just talking to him.

But Leon lifted my dress up from the bottom and buried his head in my skirt. That damn guy, he never seemed to be satisfied. He kissed every inch of my body, leaving hickeys all over. He was a bad guy, but I couldn’t do anything about him.

I was completely awakened by Leon. While he teased me, my body responded to him. My blood began to boil again, and I decided to tease him back. When Leon wasn’t looking, I rolled over and quickly pressed him under my body, then held his wrists with my hands.

“I should hand in your homework, shouldn’t I, dear teacher?” I said proudly.

“Wow, you really are a clever student! I feel very proud as a teacher!” Leon smiled and looked at me with his charming purple eyes.

“Tell me more about the black wolf!” I blurted out. I was not someone who could keep secrets, and I had too many questions that I needed Leon to answer for me.

“Not yet!” Leon’s attitude immediately became indifferent, and his direct refusal made me feel frustrated.

“What is the black wolf? Why do the slaves of the black wolf want to poison me? I need to know!” I insisted, hoping that Leon would compromise with me.

But instead, he suddenly turned over and put me under his body. His movements were quick and agile, and his strength was beyond that of an ordinary person. Before I knew it, he was in control.

“I said not yet!” he said, pressing his hands against mine and using an alpha tone. “Every female wolf should submit to her mate, understand?”

I didn’t respond, but I tilted my head and didn’t dare to look at him. The strong pressure from an alpha scared me.

“It’s too late!” he muttered. “It’s time for bed!”

“Sing me a bedtime song!” Leon hugged me face to face, burying his head in my chest and acting like a baby who was being comforted by his mother. “Just sing a song you like!”

I thought about it and decided to sing "Dream". I sang it in a melody suitable for hypnosis, slow and melodious.

Leon fell asleep in my arms like a baby, with my nipple in his mouth and the melody of the song in his ears.

What was the black wolf, and what secrets were hidden in the Moon Temple?

I was filled with doubts as I glanced at the man who was already asleep in my arms. Then I sighed and closed my eyes.

He seemed to hide a lot from me. Although I really want to know the answer, I know very well that when a man refuses to answer, you can only wait.

I will wait until the day when he answers me voluntarily.

I had a very strong feeling. The secret between me and him will drive us farther and farther apart. Perhaps he did not tell me because he was trying to protect me. But this web of intrigue is eating us all up, and I do not wish him to face it alone.

He was as quiet as a child in his sleep. What had he endured? I wanted to look inside him. I wanted to see what he was thinking.
