Chapter 420 No Laughing Allowed
"I wanted to fight back but was still thinking about it then you beat me to it."
"Thinking? When someone hits you, you should hit back. Why think about it? In this world, except for the people who gave birth to you and raised you, when they hit you, you need to think - everyone else doesn't deserve that. If they hit you, you hit back. Are you an idiot?" Thalia lectured William, grabbing his tie fiercely, looking like she wanted to crack open his head to see what was inside.
"Wait, I need to add one more," Thalia shouted, then realized something was wrong and changed her mind.
"Add what?"
"Except for the people who gave birth to you, raised you, and your wife - when they hit you, you need to think - everyone else doesn't deserve it. They don't have the right to make you think."
Hearing Thalia's righteous words, William couldn't help but laugh. Looking at her, his face full of joy, all the happiness in his life seemed to come from Thalia.
Seeing him laugh, Thalia got a bit unhappy. "Don't laugh!"
...........
"So, Ms. Smith and Mr. Brown's relationship? Is it really like the rumors say?"
"I think so."
"If Mr. Brown marries Ms. Smith, their household will probably be in chaos every three to five days."
"You know what, if Mr. Brown can marry Ms. Smith, that's his blessing. Didn't you see how Ms. Smith protected him just now? What other woman has that ability? When she hits people, she really hits them, and when she protects Mr. Brown, she really protects him," Angelina's affirmative voice stood out among the group's doubts.
Hearing this, the group of executives couldn't find anything wrong with it for a moment, and somehow felt that marrying Thalia might actually be a good thing. But not everyone in the crowd was convinced.
Someone asked the ultimate question, "But when she marries Mr. Brown, will she really hit him too?"
Angelina retorted, "You really are stubborn, aren't you?"
The person who was called out broke into a cold sweat. After watching Angelina leave, he looked at everyone, confused. "Did I say something wrong? Isn't that true?"
..........
At Mistwood Hill, as soon as Thalia and William entered, Fallon came out to greet them. Before getting close, she smelled the alcohol and smoke on them - clearly they'd just come back from a business dinner.
Taking William's jacket, "Do you need hangover soup?"
"Bring it ." The man said, pulling Thalia's hand up to the second floor. As soon as he pushed open the sitting room door, without even entering the bedroom, he grabbed Thalia's waist and placed her on the sitting room cabinet, cupping her face and kissing her hard. Lips and tongues intertwined, like dry wood meeting fire, ready to ignite. William had been holding back his desire the whole way, and in this moment it was all released. In less than three to five minutes, clothes were scattered all over the floor.
The atmosphere in the sitting room kept rising.
The air grew increasingly tight. Thalia hooked her arms around his neck, breathing slightly, softly urging him. "Go inside."
"Go where? Hmm? Baby."
This man, asking when he already knew.
"The bedroom, hurry."
What if someone came into the sitting room?
When Fallon came up with the hangover soup, she heard the exciting part - mixed breathing and the woman's pleasant sounds flowing out like a melody.
Scared, she put the hangover soup on the sitting room coffee table and quickly left.
Late at night, Thalia had already sobered up.
Collapsed on the bed without even the strength to shower.
After William was satisfied, he stroked her waist, over and over, making her drowsy.
"What time is it?"
"Three thirty."
Thalia cursed in her mind. If this continued, she'd die from exhaustion one day.
She knew about the difference in stamina between men and women, but she didn't expect it to be this big. Every time after a night of sex, the next day she felt like her bones were falling apart, while William acted like nothing happened, getting up early to run 3 miles, fresh as a daisy.
It really wasn't fair.
"Where are you going?" William was puzzled seeing Thalia turn over and get up.
"The bed's all wet, I'm going to the guest room."
"Let Fallon come up and change it."
Thalia was shocked. "Are you crazy? Let Fallon come up and change it? Then won't she know what we just did?"
"Aren't you ashamed?"
"Married life is normal, isn't it?"
"I don't care, no way."
"I'm not sleeping in the guest room," William insisted.
"Then you change it yourself. Once you're done changing it, I'll sleep in the master bedroom." After Thalia finished speaking, she curled up barefoot on the sofa.
William was annoyed by her, but thinking about tonight's pleasure, he suppressed his anger.
He called Fallon to bring up a bedding set.
When Fallon came up with the bedding set, her first reaction was to go into the room to help them change it, but William stopped her.
"Just give it to me."
"Let me go in and help you change it."
"No need, go rest. I'll do it myself."
Fallon wanted to say something more, but seeing his expression, she stopped.
In the bedroom, William changed the bedding set smoothly, even tying up the four corners to prevent the comforter from moving around inside the duvet cover.
Thalia was stunned. "How do you even know how to do this?"
"Isn't it normal?"
"It's not normal. I don't know how."
"Thalia, we grew up in different environments. I didn't have a mom growing up; I grew up with my dad. Do you think a man, even if he could take care of people, could be that attentive? These things, I had to figure out how to solve them myself."
"If you had to go back to that kind of life from when you were little, doing everything yourself, could you go back?"
"You think I'm that incompetent?"
Thalia thought about it, and he was right. Someone like William, even if he went bankrupt, would still be rich. That kind of life from childhood could never come back.
"William, you've really shown me what it means to have many skills. With your abilities, even if you go bankrupt in the future, you could work at a hotel making beds. You won't starve."
William glanced at Thalia. "Shut up, but thank you very much."
Thalia was happy, shaking her head playfully as she rolled onto the bed William had made.
..........
"Your grandmother got hit by Thalia."
"Really? Why?"
"Apparently, she went to confront Mr. Brown today, but didn't expect Thalia to be there too. Your grandmother walked up to Mr. Brown and slapped him. Before anyone could react, Thalia slapped her right back, and even said that Mr. Brown is the man she likes, telling your grandmother to know her place in Emerald City."
When Michael heard this news, he laughed.
