Chapter 39 Not fun

Chapter 39 Not fun
Ryder's POV

"Chase invited the nerds." Peter yelled so loud so I could hear.

"I'll drop you guys off." I told him, my eyes on the road.

"I said Chase invited the ..."

"I heard you, man." I shot him a glare through the rearview mirror.

"You're so unpredictable." Peter huffed, slumping into the chair.

"So, you're not scared that someone would hit on Uriel? Like Chase?" Mason tried his luck.

"Not attending."

"This might just be the best opportunity for Chase to finally hit it with the girl. You know how these things go." Mason was really getting close...

To being fucking punched.

My grip tightened around the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white.

"Keep going. I think he's changing his mind." Peter cooed, looking at me.

"Nahhh. I don't have a death warrant. You can pick it up from there." Mason shook his head.

"Get out of my car." I told them once I slammed on the brake.

They growled, muttering how impossible I was since I returned.

It was true.

2 years ago, they didn't need to say much for me to just join them. I was a very hormonal teenager but not anymore.

I had goals.

And priorities and currently...

What if Chase drugged Uriel just to get into her pants?

"Yo! Wait up!" I yelled at my bros. They smiled, cheering me as I walked over to them, giving them a smack on their head.

"What changed, Cap?" Peter smirked.

"Figured that I could get laid." I lied through my teeth, making my way inside.

"Now that's it!" Mason chuckled, following me inside.

The noise irritated me. The people too. I rather be smoking somewhere quiet than killing myself with headache.

I know you'll say smoking kills slowly but yeah, I fuck with slow death than rushed ones.

I hated rushed, unexpected death with passion.

My jaw ticked, my heartbeat picking up it's pace.

No.

Not here.

I grabbed a drink, uncorking the bottle with my teeth and spitting out the cover. With shaky hands, I gulped down all of its content in a go.

"Hey ya!" A girl from our level said to me, rubbing her hand up and down my chest.

I held her arm, almost throwing it off when I saw Chase.

If he was here, Uriel would be around.

"I can keep you company, hottie." She whispered in my ear, leading me to a chair.

My eyes scanned the building, searching for a petite, brown haired girl.

The one whose face has been invading my thoughts much more often, since that day in the empty class.

It was sickening.

"You're so stiff." She rubbed on my shoulder with one hand while she guarded my hands into her gown.

"I know you can't remember me but we've fucked you know? I don't know if I did bad or you didn't like my performance but you never called back." She spoke softly, pushing her breast to my face.

I opened my mouth to tell her how I didn't remember her and how I didn't fuck a girl twice when the familiar brown hair caught my attention.

My eyes darkened, turning into something I couldn't recognize as I scrutinized what she had on.

Why was she trying so hard to get attention?

She was on a crop top that stopped just before her navel and a black short skirt that stopped mid thigh.

Though she wore a fishnet tight underneath, it still didn't look appropriate.

She looked like an eyesore.

A pick-me-up girly.

As if all girls here didn't look that way.

When her eyes met mine, a pang of unease shot through me but I was far too into what I was doing to stop.

More like, I didn't want to look too interested in her. Also, I wanted to kill that notion she had in her head.

The one where she thought she affected me.

When the girl on me turned my face to hers, I reluctantly obliged, my eyes still pinned on Uriel.

'You're not so important. See?'

Her eyes shimmered with that of betrayal and disgust. Then she fucking did something stupid -

Took a drink from a stranger.

I broke away from the boring, wet kiss. "Excuse me." I told the girl, throwing her off me.

"Come on, we just got started." The girl held my hand, trying to pull me down.

"And I'm bored already. Don't you get it?" I spoke harshly, shooting her a glare.

"Fuck you." She eyed me, releasing my hands from her grip.

Rolling my eyes, I turned back only to find Uriel gone. Panic shot through my veins. I pushed through the crowd, turning from side to side.

If I was so stupidly perverted, where will I carry a girl?

Room.

I climbed to the stairs in a hurry, pushing every door. I lingered longer when I opened the third door, looking at the fucking bastard, throw his head back, lost in his orgasm as Bia rode him.

If only she was sober to see this.

Maybe she'd snap to her senses.

Focus, Ryder.

I shot the door, a bit annoyed as I hadn't found her yet. Then I heard a familiar feminine voice.

"Have you ever seen a unicorn with wings in real life?" She asked the boy who was hurriedly testing keys for a door.

When he raised his face up, I glared right into his eyes.

Finch.

The bastard.

"Get lost, Ryder." He warned, placing Uriel behind him. "I can use this key to hurt you."

"Try your luck and pray you actually hurt me." I seethed, my eyes red.

He held it to my throat level, pushing it forward when I dodged it, twisting his hand to his back. He reeked of alcohol and smoke.

"Ahhhh!!" He screamed when I twisted it far up his back, almost dislocating his shoulder.

"Keep your door locked, Finch. Let's continue when we're sober." I threw him to the wall, eyeing the little fire whose eyes were slowly dropping close.

Before she could fall, I caught her, carrying her out in a bridal style.

"You're really something else, you know that?" I told her as I tucked her into the chair, belting her up.

She grumbled under her breath, her hair covering her face.

I looked at her for a minute, contemplating what to do with her.

I knew for sure her parents would be very mad at her if they found her in this state. I didn't think she'd like that too, so I took the risk.

I didn't something I had never done.

Minutes later, I was pushing through my room door. She clung to me lazily, mumbling under her breath.

When I dropped her on the bed, she moaned, snuggling into my pillow. I stood for a while admiring how good she looked in my sheets.

"Why do I feel so hot, Ryder?"

I froze, holding my breath.

"The place scents so much Ryder. I know it's you." She muttered out, looking at me. "Though your face is scattered. Why?"

"Because you were fucking stupid." I shot, a bit annoyed at her actions. "You could've been -" I clamped my mouth shut when I saw her eyes grow soft.

"Don't yell at me please. If I offended you, I'm sorry. Please."

Fuck

How could I even be mad when she looked so fucking pretty and innocent. And when she talked like a child.

"I'll go get you water." I told her, going downstairs.

I stayed there for a while, thinking my decision through. I heard a loud sound from upstairs, making me race up.

Seated in just undies and crop top was Uriel. Boy, I was cooked.

My eyes slowly roamed around her body, taking all of her in - in the most inappropriate way.

"Kinky..."

"It was itchy." She looked up at me with her puppy doe eyes.

I handed her the glass of water before going to surf for one of my loose shirt.

"Wear this instead." I tossed it on her body, turning around.

It didn't even take a good 5 minutes when she stated she was done. "Turn now."

I turned only to find her in her bra, giggling. My cock twitched in my pants, my eyes widened in shock.

She... She was fucking beautiful.

"Jesus Christ, Uriel." I backed her, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Change. For real."

"You're not fun."

Wait till you're sober, Kinky.

"I'm done."

Not believing her words, I slowly turned, eyeing her carefully with my side eyes before facing her properly.

"You should sleep." I go to take the glass from the bed when her two hands circled around my one wrist.

"Can you stay for a moment?" She fluttered her eyelashes.

My heart began to drum loud, her touch doing great numbers on me.

"Only until you sleep then." I said, taking a seat at the edge of the bed, watching her lay down.

"Why do you lie?"

Huh?

"Everybody lies, Uriel, for different reasons. Personal reasons sometimes." I answered.

"Why do you lie not to care?" She opened her eyes, looking into my eyes, making me pause.

"I... I don't lie about that. I don't care." I frowned.

She was misinterpreting my little kindness.

"Yeah right." She scoffed. "But yet you came to my rescue that day at the eatery because I texted for your help." She smiled smugly at me.

I stared at her for a while, unable to find an answer.

"You...you don't know what you're saying, Uriel. Just sleep." I told her, patting her back softly.

"That's what I thought." She chuckled lowly, shutting her eyes. She stayed quiet for a while, snoring softly.

After waiting for few minutes, I stood up. My body wouldn't move, my eyes were just glued to her, memorizing her body.

A soft chuckle left my lips at her attitude. It was hilarious.

I was about to walk away when she spoke again, her voice soft and low

"I've never had an orgasm before because I've never had sex."

Everything stopped moving.
