Chapter 66

Reyna felt very excited about going through her pregnancy. Every week, she actively did prenatal exercises with an experienced instructor. Prenatal exercises were not just physical activity, but also a valuable moment for Reyna to interact with other pregnant women. They shared experiences, tips, and support with each other.

In every exercise session, Reyna felt the benefits. She felt fitter and more energetic, although sometimes there was discomfort that arose. However, the instructor always provided motivation and explanations about movements that were safe for pregnant women. Reyna followed every instruction with enthusiasm.

Aryan, her husband, sometimes accompanied Reyna. When Aryan is not busy with work, he always tries to support Reyna. The two of them often take morning walks in the housing complex. This activity is not only good for Reyna's health, but also provides quality time for the two of them. They chat, laugh, and plan their future as parents.

Reyna also pays close attention to her health and preparation for childbirth. She regularly consults with her doctor to make sure everything is going well. The doctor gives various suggestions, ranging from a healthy diet, breathing exercises, to relaxation techniques that can help during the labor process. Reyna notes down all the important information and tries to apply it in her daily life.

One day, after a gym session, Reyna and Aryan sat in the complex's garden. Reyna told how happy she was to be able to exercise and meet other pregnant women. Aryan listened attentively, occasionally making comments that made Reyna smile.

"Honey, I'm so proud of you. You've done your best for your health and your little one," said Aryan while holding Reyna's hand.

Reyna was touched by Aryan's support. She knew that her husband's presence meant a lot, especially in times like this. They both promised each other to continue to support each other until the day of birth arrived.

As time passed, Reyna increasingly felt the changes in her body. She learned to accept each change with an open heart. She also began to prepare everything needed to welcome the little one. From choosing a name, preparing the baby's room, to buying the necessary equipment.

Reyna and Aryan also began attending childbirth preparation classes. In this class, they learned about the labor process, breathing techniques, and how to care for a baby after birth. Reyna felt more prepared and confident in facing the labor process.

Day by day, Reyna continued to try to maintain her health and fitness. She knew that all these efforts were for the good of herself and the baby she was carrying. With Aryan's support and the doctor's guidance, Reyna was confident that she would be able to go through the labor process well.

Happiness enveloped Reyna and Aryan as they imagined their future as parents. They were both committed to giving the best for their child, from health, education, to endless love.

With high spirits, Reyna continued her pregnancy exercise routine, morning walks, and consultations with doctors. She knew that every step she took was part of a beautiful journey towards the arrival of her little one. Reyna felt lucky to have a husband who was always by her side, supporting and loving her unconditionally.

This pregnancy period was not only about waiting for the birth, but also about building a strong bond between Reyna, Aryan, and their future baby. Every moment they went through was a precious memory that they would always remember. Reyna hoped that when the time came, she would be able to give birth smoothly and give a new life full of love to her child.

Reyna sat at the dining table, stirring the cereal in her bowl with a blank stare. That morning, sunlight came in through the window, but nothing could warm her heart. She felt unwell, and her stomach began to contract. As usual, Reyna tried not to panic. False contractions were common before labor, and she had prepared herself for it. However, this time was different.

The pain was getting worse, like waves that came and went, but there was no sign of it letting up. Reyna bit her lip, trying to hold back the groan that wanted to come out. She didn't want to worry Aryan. Her husband, Aryan, was busy eating breakfast, and Reyna knew how much he wanted to see her happy and calm.

"Honey, are you okay?" Aryan asked, turning to Reyna with a concerned face. He could sense something was wrong. Reyna smiled weakly, trying to assure her husband that everything was fine. However, Aryan was not easily fooled. He moved closer, took Reyna's hand, and felt how cold her skin was.

"Reyna, you don't look good. Are you feeling sick?" Aryan asked, his tone showing deep concern. Reyna nodded slowly, but didn't want to admit how much pain she was in.

"It's just a false contraction, Aryan. Maybe I'm too tired," she replied, trying to sound reassuring.

However, Aryan didn't believe it. He knew Reyna better than that. He could see the frown on Reyna's forehead and how her breathing was starting to become labored.

"We better go to the hospital," Aryan said firmly. Reyna wanted to refuse, but the increasing pain made it impossible for her to say anything. She just nodded, and Aryan immediately called the maid to help her.

The maid came quickly, and in an instant, Reyna was being carried to the car. Aryan sat beside her, holding her hand tightly. "We'll be fine," she whispered, trying to calm Reyna down. However, inside, she felt anxious. She knew Reyna wanted to have a natural birth, but if this condition continued, she wasn't sure if that would still be possible.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Reyna was taken to the examination room. Doctors and nurses immediately surrounded her, doing checks to make sure everything was okay. Reyna tried to stay calm, but the constant pain made it difficult to concentrate. Aryan never left her side, always by her side, giving Reyna the support she needed.

After a while, the doctor finally gave a diagnosis. "Reyna, you're having stronger contractions than we thought. These aren't false contractions. You're in early labor," the doctor said in a calm voice.

Reyna felt a mixture of fear and happiness. She wanted to have a natural birth, but the pain was making her doubt herself.

"Aryan, I don't know if I can do this," Reyna complained, tears starting to form in her eyes. Aryan rubbed the back of her hand, giving her the encouragement she needed. "You can do it, honey. I'm here with you. We'll get through this together."

Time passed, and the pain grew more intense. Reyna tried to stay focused, remembering all the lessons she had learned during her pregnancy. She knew that each contraction was a step toward meeting their baby. But as the pain grew, she felt hopeless.

"Doctor, I want to have a natural birth," Reyna said in a shaky voice. "But I don't know if I can make it."

The doctor smiled, giving her understanding. "We'll help you. Remember, every woman has strength within herself. You're not alone."
