Reyna felt calm and happy. She knew, no matter what happened, they would always be together, facing all challenges and celebrating every beautiful moment in their journey as parents. With hearts full of love, they both fell asleep, dreaming about a bright future with their little one who would soon be born.

Suddenly Aryan got a call from Leon, his subordinate.

He said there was a problem with the company. Worriedly, Aryan immediately went to the office after saying goodbye to Reyna.

"I'll go to the office first, okay?"

"Yes, be careful on the road, Aryan."

Reyna looked at Aryan anxiously. Until Aryan got into the car and left the yard.

Aryan walked quickly to the office, his mind filled with worry. The call from Leon, his trusted subordinate, made him feel that something was very serious. He didn't want to take any risks, especially when it involved the company he had worked so hard to build. After saying goodbye to Reyna, who looked anxious, Aryan was determined to find out what was really happening.

When he arrived at the office, the atmosphere seemed tense. Some employees were seen whispering, while others looked restless. Aryan went straight to the meeting room, where Leon was already waiting with several other board members. The expressions on their faces showed that this situation could not be taken lightly.

"Thank you for coming so quickly, Mr. Aryan," Leon said, his voice firm but with a hint of anxiety in it. "We have a serious problem with the last financial report."

Aryan nodded, feeling the tension in the air. "What happened? Why are you only telling me now?"

Leon sighed. "We found discrepancies in the financial report. Several transactions were not recorded properly, and some money was missing from the company's cash."

Aryan felt his heart beating fast. "How much is it?"

“Around two billion,” Leon replied in a heavy tone. “We are still investigating, but it is possible that it involves one of our employees.”

Aryan felt angry and worried at the same time. Two billion was not a small amount. If this problem was not handled quickly, it could have fatal consequences for the company. “We need to hold a board meeting immediately. We need to find out who is responsible and how we can fix this situation.”

Leon nodded. “I have contacted all the board members. They will be here soon.”

After a while, all the board members gathered in the meeting room. Aryan stood in front of them, trying to calm himself down even though his heart was pounding.

“Thank you for coming so quickly. We are facing a serious problem that we need to solve together. Leon has explained the situation, and we need to find a solution immediately.”

One of the board members, Mira, raised her hand. “Do we have an idea of who might be involved in this?”

Aryan shook his head. “Not yet. We need to conduct an internal investigation first. However, we must be very careful not to cause panic among the employees.”

“Agreed,” said Rudi, another board member. “We also need to consider the impact on the company’s reputation if this news leaks to the public.”

Aryan nodded. “We have to keep this confidential. Let’s divide the tasks. Leon, you and your team should investigate the financial statements and find out where the mistakes are. Mira, you can help by contacting an external auditor to conduct an in-depth audit. Rudi, you can monitor internal communications so that no information is leaked.”

All the board members nodded in agreement. Aryan felt a little relieved. Although this was a very serious situation, at least they had a plan to deal with it. “We have to act quickly. If we can find the perpetrator and fix this mistake, we might still be able to save the company.”

After the meeting was over, Aryan returned to his office. He sat at his desk, contemplating the situation he had just faced. The thought of possible betrayal within the company made him feel uneasy. He had built a solid team, and if one of them was really involved, it would be a big blow.

A few days passed, and the investigation began to bear fruit. Leon reported that they had found some suspicious transactions made by an employee named Dimas, who worked in the finance department. Aryan was shocked. Dimas was one of the best employees he had ever had. However, he knew that nothing could be left unchecked if proven guilty.

“Leon, we need to call Dimas to provide an explanation,” Aryan said. “We can’t just accuse without clear evidence, but we also can’t ignore this finding.”

Leon nodded. “I’ll arrange a meeting with Dimas. We have to be professional and not show our emotions.”

The next day, Dimas was called into the meeting room. Aryan and Leon sat at the table, while Dimas looked tense. “Thank you for coming, Dimas. We want to discuss some things related to the financial report,” Aryan said in a calm tone.

Dimas nodded, his face looking pale. “Sure, how can I help you?”

Leon began to explain their findings. “We found some transactions that were not recorded properly and some money was missing. We need an explanation from you.”

Dimas looked increasingly agitated. “I don’t know what you mean. All the reports I made were in accordance with the procedures.”

Aryan looked at Dimas seriously. “We have evidence that shows that you were involved in these transactions. We just want to hear your explanation.”

Dimas paused for a moment, then sighed. “Okay, I’ll be honest. I was forced to do this because of pressure from outside parties. They threatened to ruin the company’s reputation if I didn’t help them.”

Aryan was shocked. “Who are they? What do they want?”

Dimas explained that he had been contacted by a group of people who threatened him. They asked Dimas to manipulate the financial reports and transfer some money to their accounts. Dimas felt trapped and didn’t know what to do.

Aryan and Leon looked at each other. “We will report this to the authorities,” Aryan said. “You have to give all the information you have about them.”

Dimas nodded, looking relieved. “I will help as much as I can. I don’t want this company to be destroyed because of my mistake.”

After the meeting, Aryan felt a little calmer. Although the situation was still complicated, at least they had a clear direction to take. They immediately worked with the authorities to arrest the group that threatened Dimas and further investigate the suspicious transactions.

A few weeks later, after an intensive investigation, the authorities managed to arrest the perpetrators and recover most of the missing money. Aryan was relieved, but he knew that the process of restoring the company’s reputation would be long.

At the next board meeting, Aryan talked about the steps that would be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. “We need to strengthen our internal monitoring and auditing systems. We also need to provide training to employees on how to deal with external pressure.”

All the board members agreed, and Aryan felt optimistic about the company’s future. Although they had faced a major storm, they had weathered it together. Aryan knew that trust and cooperation were the keys to rebuilding a strong company foundation.

When Aryan returned home, Reyna greeted him with a smile. “How is the company? Is everything okay?”

Aryan nodded, even though he knew that their journey was still long. “We managed to overcome this problem, but we must remain vigilant. This is a valuable lesson for all of us.”

Reyna hugged Aryan. “I believe in you. We will get through this together.”

Aryan felt a new spirit flowing through him. Together with Reyna and her team, he was ready to face any challenges that would come. This company was a part of his life, and he would not let it fall apart just like that.
