Chapter 59
Reyna nodded, feeling the genuine support from her father. "I just feel so empty, Dad. It's like a part of me is missing. I want to feel the baby so badly."
Mr. Marcel took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "Loss is a part of life, even if it's hard to accept. But remember that the love you have for that baby will never go away. He or she will always be a part of your life.”
Reyna felt a little more at ease hearing her father's words. She knew that the healing process would take time, but sharing this story made her feel lighter. They continued their conversation, discussing fond memories and hopes for the future.
After a few hours, Reyna felt better. She knew that this journey was not just about sharing sorrow, but also about finding strength within oneself and support from loved ones.
"Thank you, Dad. I feel better after talking to you," she said, her voice full of gratitude.
"Always, Reyna. Remember, I'm always here for you," replied Mr. Marcel, looking at his daughter lovingly.
Mr. Marcel set the dining table with great care. Small candles were lit, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere in the dining room. The aroma of delicious food filled the air, making Reyna impatient to immediately enjoy the dishes her father had prepared.
Reyna, who had just come home from work, felt happy. She knew that her father always tried to give the best for her, especially at times like this. Even though he was married and had his own life, Mr. Marcel always considered Reyna as his little princess who needed to be protected and loved.
"Reyna, come sit down! Dinner is ready," Mr. Marcel called with a smile.
Reyna stepped closer, looking at the dishes served. There was pasta with fresh tomato sauce, vegetable salad, and freshly baked garlic bread. "Wow, this is amazing, Dad! It looks delicious," Reyna said with sparkling eyes.
"Thank you, son. I know you like this pasta," Mr. Marcel replied as he poured pasta onto Reyna's plate.
They started eating while chatting. Reyna told him about her day at the office, about the new project she was working on, and how she felt happy to be able to contribute more. Mr. Marcel listened attentively, occasionally giving wise comments or advice.
"Don't forget, Reyna. Even though work is important, don't neglect yourself. Take a break if you need to," Mr. Marcel advised.
Reyna smiled, feeling warm inside. "I know, Dad. But sometimes I feel like I have to give my best. Besides, I want to make you proud," she said.
Mr. Marcel nodded. "You've made me proud, son. Just by being yourself. Remember, nothing is more important than your happiness."
After dinner, the two of them sat in the living room, enjoying a cup of warm tea. Reyna felt comfortable being around her father, sharing stories and laughter. She knew that no matter how busy her life was, moments like this were the most precious.
"What about Aryan? When is he coming back?" Mr. Marcel asked, reminding Reyna of her boyfriend who was out of town.
"He should be back tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait," Reyna replied excitedly. "We've planned to go out for dinner together."
Mr. Marcel smiled. "That's good. Make sure you take care of yourself too, okay? Relationships should be mutually supportive."
Reyna nodded. "I know, Dad. Aryan always supports me, and I try to do the same for him."
The night was getting late, and Reyna felt sleepy. She said good night to her father, thanking him for the special dinner. Before going to bed, she thought about how lucky she was to have a father who loved her so much. Reyna knew that no matter what the future held, Mr. Marcel’s love and support would always be a strong foundation in her life. With that thought, she fell asleep with a smile on her face, looking forward to a hopeful tomorrow.

The next afternoon, Aryan picked up Reyna at Mr. Marcel's house, his father-in-law. "How was your business trip, Aryan?"
They chatted there and Mr. Marcel asked how Aryan's business trip was yesterday.
Reyna was also present among them. She is much calmer now.
Aryan smiled, feeling warm with the attention from his father-in-law. "Yesterday's business trip went quite smoothly, Mr. Marcel. We managed to sign a contract with a new client who was quite potential," Aryan replied while looking at Reyna who was sitting beside him.
Reyna nodded, listening intently. She felt proud of her husband's achievement. "That's amazing, Aryan! I knew you could do it," she said with a big smile.
Mr. Marcel nodded, his face showing pride. "Very good, Aryan. I always believe that you have the ability to take our company in a better direction. Keep working hard," he said in a tone full of hope.
Aryan was touched to hear the support from his father-in-law. He knew how important trust was, especially in the challenging business world. "Thank you, sir. I will try my best," he replied sincerely.
They continued the conversation, discussing various things from business developments to plans for the upcoming family vacation. Reyna felt comfortable being among them, the warm and affectionate atmosphere made her feel calm.
After a while, Mr. Marcel asked Reyna to help prepare tea. "Reyna, can you get some tea from the kitchen? We need to freshen up this atmosphere," he asked.
Reyna got up and went to the kitchen. While preparing the tea, she reflected for a moment. She felt grateful for the life they were living, despite the challenges they had to face. When she returned with the tea, Aryan and Mr. Marcel had already continued their discussion about future business plans.
"Reyna, you should join the next meeting. Your opinion is very valuable," Aryan said when he saw Reyna return.
Reyna was surprised. "Me? But I don't know much about business," she replied hesitantly.
"That's what makes your opinion valuable. Sometimes, an outside perspective can provide different insights," Mr. Marcel added.
Reyna smiled, feeling appreciated. "Okay, if that's what you want, I'll try," he said with renewed enthusiasm.
The night grew late, and the three of them enjoyed tea while chatting. The warm and intimate atmosphere made Reyna feel closer to her family. She knew that even though life was not always easy, the support of her loved ones would always be her strength.
After a few hours, Aryan and Reyna said goodbye to go home. "Thank you for a pleasant evening, Mr. Marcel. We'll be back soon," Aryan said while holding Reyna's hand.
"Good evening, Aryan and Reyna. Take care of yourselves," replied Mr. Marcel with a warm smile.
On the way home, Reyna felt happy. She looked at Aryan and said, "I'm glad I could share a moment like this. It feels like we're getting closer."
Aryan smiled, "I feel it too. We will continue to build this relationship, Reyna. Together."
That night, they went home with hearts full of hope and love.
