Chapter 58
It all happened in an instant, so fast that only Jonathan managed to catch how the girl dodged that wild swing. All the crowd saw was her left hook smashing straight into Falkevik’s face.
Bang. Falkevik’s leg gave out as he crashed hard onto the ground, leaving the arena in stunned silence.
Moments later, the crowd erupted, their cheers nearly shaking the arena apart. “Whoa.”
This stunning girl had floored Falkevik with a single blow.
Jonathan’s eyes flickered, the adrenaline in his veins cooling down. But his heart was still pounding wildly. Why did this girl feel so familiar?
Falkevik lay sprawled on the mat as the referee stepped forward, slapping his hand against the ground and counting, “Three, two-”
On the third count, Falkevik sprang to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury as he glared at Annabel, the look in them sharp enough to cut.
He missed. Not only had he missed, but she’d knocked him down instead. Falkevik roared in frustration, “Ah.”
He lunged at Annabel, his massive frame barreling toward her like a freight train, even though she was only a third of his size. The audience was on fire
now.
One–sided fights were boring. A real clash was what got the crowd fired up.
“Go for it.”
“Get him.”
Annabel stood unfazed amidst the deafening roar of the crowd. Cool as ice, she effortlessly sidestepped Falkevik’s attack. Her movements were swift and precise, like a swallow in flight. She pivoted on her toes and unleashed a flying kick that struck Falkevik square in the head.
Falkevik staggered, his massive frame swaying like a drunkard. He slammed into the nearby railing with a loud thud, only to rebound and collapse onto
the ground.
The towering foreigner hadn’t even regained his senses when a shadow loomed over him. A foot, small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, came crashing down on his face with the weight of a heavy stone.
Before losing consciousness, Falkevik caught a glimpse of a pair of icy cold eyes–eyes belonging to the girl he had completely underestimated. In his native tongue, he cursed silently, ‘Fuck.‘
Falkevik was defeated. The audience held their breath as the referee leaned down to the seemingly lifeless Falkevik and began the countdown. “Three-”
The crowd joined in, their voices rising in unison, “Two, One-”
Falkevik didn’t get up. He had lost. The man who had reigned as champion for six years, a figure feared like a god of war, had been defeated. And the one who beat him was a girl, a girl from their homeland.
As the referee signaled for Falkevik to be carried off, he suddenly realized he didn’t even know the name of this mysterious lady.
With utmost respect, he asked, “Miss, may I know your name?”
Annabel’s voice dropped to a low, icy tone as she said, “Black Fox.”
As soon as the name left her lips, the crowd exploded, chanting in unison, “Black Fox is so cool.”
Amidst the roaring cheers, the referee smiled and declared, “The winner of this match is Miss Black Fox.”
From this moment on, the name Black Fox would undoubtedly become a legend in the boxing world.

Chapter 581
“Black Fox, champion.” Some fans were so ecstatic that they threw their clothes onto the stage.
Jonathan watched her, calm and composed even in the midst of the chaos. A smirk tugged at his lips. She really did remind him of Little Wildcat
Annabel had claimed the championship, defeating Falkevik in under a minute. No one in their right mind would dare challenge her now. But fame meant nothing to her. She really did remind him of a little wildcat.
In the underground boxing scene, anonymity was common. A girl unwilling to reveal her real name was hardly unusual. To the boss, the rule was simple, The winner takes the prize. And tonight, that prize was the red diamond.
As the victor, Annabel was entitled to claim it. But trouble awaited her as she stepped out of the arena,
A hand suddenly shot out from around the corner as she stepped into the parking lot, grabbing her wrist and yanking her away.
Annabel let out a startled cry, but before she could react, she was slammed against the side of a car.
Her breath caught as Jonathan’s strikingly handsome face appeared inches from hers, his features magnified by the closeness. She froze. “Y-You?”
‘What is he doing here? Has he followed me all the way here, or has he recognized her back at the boxing ring despite my disguise?‘ she wondered.
A storm of thoughts and emotions swirled in Annabel’s mind, but her expression remained calm, her gaze steady.
Jonathan’s sharp eyes locked onto hers, unwavering and intense. He spoke slowly, his voice low and deliberate, “Who are you?”
Annabel exhaled softly, suppressing the tremor in her voice as she replied coldly, “Get out of my way.”
Jonathan’s lips curled into a faint smirk as he reached for the mask concealing her face. “Little Wildcat, I know you are-”
Annabel’s brows furrowed deeply. Without hesitation, she blocked his hand and shoved him back with all her strength, her eyes flashing with cold defiance. Her voice was sharp and commanding as she warned, “Don’t follow me.”
Not sparing him another glance, Annabel climbed into her car and drove off, her movements swift and resolute.
Yet, the faint sense of trust she’d begun to feel toward Jonathan crumbled entirely, replaced by a renewed wall of vigilance.
Unbeknownst to her, Jonathan remained standing in the shadows, his gaze fixed on her retreating car. A sly smile tugged at his lips as he watched it
vanish into the night.
Annabel called Mason on her way. “I’ve got the red diamond. Can you take it for appraisal?”
“Sure thing,” Mason replied. “Come over now. I need to talk to you about something.”
“Alright,” Annabel said. Annabel quickly returned to Aether Studios, took out the red diamond, and handed it to Mason.
– Mason examined the red diamond closely for a long time, his gaze almost entranced. “This red diamond is incredible. No wonder so many people were
fighting over it. I heard some real pros showed up at the boxing match this time.”

Annabel didn’t respond, her expression calm and indifferent.
Mason carefully put the red diamond away before handing his phone to Annabel. “There’s a rumor online about you and that sleazy man. I’ve been deleting posts, but whoever’s behind it just keeps uploading more.”
Annabel took the phone and glanced at the screen. The headline read: [Frostville Tycoon Jarvis to Marry Miss Annabel White Soon.]
The post had tens of thousands of comments, most of them viciously attacking Annabel.
[Isn’t Annabel supposed to be Mr. Shaw’s fiancée? Did she dump him just to marry into the Kent family?]
[Can someone please make Annabel disappear from the internet? I’m about to go blind from looking at this disgusting woman.]

Annabel’s face remained expressionless, but Mason was visibly furious, clenching his jaw. “These online trolls don’t know a thing but love to stir up drama. I’ll keep deleting their garbage.”
“You should-” Annabel started to say, but her phone rang, cutting her off. It was Walter calling. She raised a hand to signal Mason to stay quiet before answering the call.
“Annabei, don’t worry about those posts online. I’ve already hired a lawyer to handle it. Just leave it to me,” Walter said, his voice slightly strained, which made Annabel’s heart tighten with worry.
She hesitated, wanting to refuse but afraid of upsetting him. After a moment, she replied, “Alright. Thank you, Grandpa.” Annabel exchanged a few more words of concern with him before ending the call.
Although Walter had taken action, Mason had dealt with the situation first. Those people were as persistent as flies, so Annabel didn’t hold out much hope.
To her surprise, the matter was resolved in less than a day. The rumors about her marrying Jarvis disappeared entirely.
Not only were the posts gone, but there were also clarification statements. Even Jarvis himself publicly denied the news.
Annabel was puzzled and planned to ask Walter about it when she had the chance. But before she could, an unexpected visitor showed up.
Elizabeth seemed cheerful as she said with a warm smile, “Annabel, do you have time to join me for a meal tomorrow?”
