Before, she’d never even glimpsed his arms, let alone his bare chest.
Now it seemed he’d grown accustomed to flaunting his body.
Maureen averted her gaze.
Seeing her there, Geoffrey promptly retreated to shower and change.
Last night’s drinking, coupled with Maureen vomiting on him, left him feeling utterly wretched.
Half an hour later.
Geoffrey emerged from the bathroom. Walking out, he grabbed his phone and noticed several missed calls from Wayne.
He dialed back: “What is it?”
“Boss, that hacker transferred the 7.9 billion.”
Geoffrey’s expression darkened: “Trace the location?”
Wayne paused briefly before responding.
“We found it, but…”
“But what?”
“It’s at the Private Country Estate.”
No explanation needed–it was clearly a decoy.
Geoffrey let out a cold laugh: “Seems our tech department needs a

thorough clean house.”
He hadn’t called the police earlier because he wanted to personally catch the person behind the computer.
Anyone who dared to touch his things wouldn’t just end up in jail
But he never expected to end up helping that guy,
“Find that person within three days, whatever it takes!”
Wayne understood Geoffrey’s meaning: “Yes.”
Geoffrey grew increasingly curious about who knew about the Private Country Estate.
At the kindergarten, Jacob sneezed, feeling drowsy.
Suddenly, his gaze fixed outside the window.
Two familiar figures–one was the kindergarten principal, the other was actually Sean.
The big bad Sean even flashed Jacob a smile, one that held too much meaning.
Jacob quickly dialed Katherine using his smartwatch.
Katherine was getting torn into by her father at the company.
“Who told you to tell Albert you wouldn’t marry?”
Two days ago, Sean asked Katherine to bring the child to see him. Instead, she called Albert directly, telling the old man she had no interest in his grandson.
She hadn’t expected her father to confront her so soon.

Her phone rang just as she was about to answer it, but Scott snapped coldly: “Turn it off.”
Katherine could only obediently switch off her phone.
Scott’s face flushed with rage: “Why don’t you take a good look at yourself? The Robsons are a powerful family, Mr. Robson is handsome, and he even holds a law degree. How could he possibly be beneath you?”
Katherine was stunned to learn Sean had studied law.
“If he studied law, he should understand marriage is voluntary.”
Scott raised his hand to strike her.
Katherine flinched, and his hand dropped helplessly.
“I don’t care about your ‘voluntary marriage‘! If you refuse to marry into the Robson family, don’t bother coming to the company.
You’re no daughter of mine.‘
Katherine didn’t believe him.
Ten minutes later, he kicked her out.
Personal belongings tumbled onto the sidewalk as Katherine stared dumbfounded at the locked company doors.
“Dad… you’re serious?”
A doll sailed through the air in response.
Katherine stood utterly bewildered,
She pulled out her phone to call her driver, only to see a missed call from Little Dot.
Chapter 174
“What could she want now?”
Katherine redialed, but the line rang into silence.
Katherine sensed trouble and immediately called Jacob’s teacher.
“Hello, teacher? Could you put Jacob on the phone?”

“Oh, Mrs. Ramirez! Jacob’s dad just picked him up,” the homeroom teacher replied.
His dad…
Geoffrey?
Bullshit!
Geoffrey didn’t even know Jacob was his son!
Unless…
Katherine froze.
“Mrs. Ramirez? Are you still there?”
“How could you let someone take my son?
What if he’s dangerous?
Who was he? What did he look like?” Katherine roared into the phone.
If Jacob went missing, she could never face Maureen.
This teacher was utterly irresponsible,
Katherine knew those two children meant everything to Maureen–she’d never let anything harm them.

Now someone had taken Jacob, and she hadn’t even noticed.

Ignoring her scattered belongings on the ground, Katherine rushed to hail a taxi. “International Academy, now!”
The teacher sounded bewildered: “You don’t know what your child’s father looks like?”
Katherine’s face flushed crimson. “We had a one–night stand. Never saw his face. What’s it to you?”
As the child’s teacher, taking a child away without informing the parents first shows utter irresponsibility.
The homeroom teacher sounded flustered as she explained: “Ms. Katherine.
please don’t be angry. I had no choice–the director brought him here.”
“He’s tall, about six foot three, strikingly handsome with captivating eyes. Oh, and I think his surname was Sean…” the teacher fumbled for words.
Sean? Who else could it be but, Sean?
Katherine immediately hung up and dialed Sean’s number.
“The number you have dialed is currently unavailable. Please try again later…”
Her hands trembled: “Did that jerk block me?”
“What do we do?

Seaside Villa.
The artificial lagoon Sean had built was nothing short of extravagant.
Jacob’s first thought upon being brought here against his will: more money than sense.
He should’ve stolen from this fake dad who mistook him for a son, not his real father.
