Alexus Tells Off the Primus

Alexus Tells Off the Primus
Standing with terror lining his face, he looked to the small but pissed off Alexus. Sterling’s words echoed loudly in his ears.

“It’s like you’re doing something you KNOW you shouldn’t be doing and then she pops up under your arm like a little Satan glaring at you. It’s like technically, I KNOW I shouldn’t be scared because I’m bigger, but she still manages to put the fear of God in me…it’s very confusing.”

“HOW DO YOU REMEMBER?!” He blurted out, immediately regretting it as her eyes cut into slits.

“REALLY?! AFTER ALL THIS TIME THAT’S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY? HM?” She pointed out the greenhouse, and his eyes widened seeing Stacy, Jerry, and five wolves all smiling. He stormed out.

“FUCKING MUTINY I TELL YOU!"

“And we’ll take whatever punishment that comes along with it.” Alexus was hot on his trail.

“Don’t you dare yell at them! THIS IS ALL ON YOU AND YOUR DUMBASS IDEA!” He sighed.

“Sorry. Please consider the stipulations to the treaty null and void.” Nodding Jordan patted his back.

“We’re going to leave, nobody wants to witness the murder that’s about to go down.”

“Don’t leave me with her…she’s going to fucking kill me.” Morgan laughed and folded her arms.

“Probably.”

Watching them leave, he turned around and faced Alexus. Considering his option, he thought about shifting and taking off. She glared at him hard.

“DON’T. YOU. DARE DEMETRI DUMB IDEAS VAMP!” Alexus stormed past him into the castle, with him trailing behind. He heard her grumble. “Fucking made ME forget..who does he think he is?…I SHOULD DECK YOU I’M SO MAD!...but you look great and pretty and now I’m angrier…YOU KNOW IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO FIGURE OUT THE CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS THAT WOULD HELP ME GET MY MEMORY BACK?!...now I’m not even a vampire…OH IM SO MAD AT YOU!”

“Will you please stop angry walking through the house?!”

“NO!” She fumed as she made her way up the stairs into the bedroom.

Opening the closet, her eyes widened and she turned and cut them into slits. “WHERE IS THE ORGANIZATION?! I FIXED ALL OF THIS AND YOU COULDN’T EVEN KEEP IT NEAT! THIS IS WHY I DON’T ASK NOBODY FOR NOTHING IN THIS DAMN HOUSE!” He tried his best to stifle his laugh, only making it worse. She tore into the boxes. “THESE SHOES GO INTO THE DEMETRI’S COOKOUT SPECIALS!” AND THESE BELONG IN THE DEMETRI’S BIG BOSS WEAR!” He grabbed her hands.

“Will you stop angry organizing our closet?” She stopped and looked at him.

“O-our closet?” He looked at her but remained silent. Alexus sat on the floor. “How could you do that to me? You threw me away…and I’m trying not to be hurt…but it hurts.”

Demetri sat beside her, and she wouldn’t return his gaze. He sighed. “Leaving you and throwing you away are two very different things Little One. You wanted to be with your sisters and I-I couldn’t compete with that and honestly, I didn’t want to. I just wanted you to be happy, and I couldn’t be apart of that knowing I didn’t know how to be happy myself.” She caressed his face.

“I’m so sorry I made you feel like that.”

Realizing the weight of her words that tore constantly into him. She had been happy with him, and yet she for some reason she couldn’t fully appreciate that. So much so, she’d almost lost the person who’d she loved in every way.

“Demetri...I loved you even when I didn’t remember you.”

“Wha-“ She shook her head.

“I came looking for you every day…and I didn’t even know why. That morning meant so much to me because I’d already fallen in love with you again.” He grabbed her in his arms and placed his head and hers. “Demetri please tell me the truth, am I your beloved?” Demetri inhaled sharply.

“Yes”

“How long have you known?”

“Since Morgan’s wedding…I just was in denial.” He’d fallen for Alexus the moment he’d seen her. And it pissed him off because he knew she would never want to be with someone like him.

"Why did Sam lie?" He shook his head.

"I don't know. But when he did and everyone assumed the worse of me, I just accepted it."He whispered low. "I should have fought for you." She snuggled in closer to him.

“You should have told me the truth about what I was to you.”

“I know.”

Taking her hand, he stood her up and walked her to a large lavender armoire she hadn’t noticed before. “I thought it was fitting.” He said making her chuckled before she opened it to see her clothes. All the ones she’d left, perfectly organized. All her shoes in labeled boxes, resembling his. He sighed.

“I couldn’t look at them, but I still wanted them here." Pulling at one of the boxes, she laughed at the label.

Alexus’ Hot Girl Summers

Demetri rubbed the back of his neck. “I have no idea what it means, but I heard you call them that to Stacy once.” Another box caught her eye, and she pulled it out.

“Demetri’s favorite pair?” She opened it and saw the flats she'd worn on their first date.

“I didn’t throw you away Little One. Never. I love you too much.”

Alexus pulled him to her, kissing him passionately. “I love you.” She murmured.

“I love you.” She laid her head on him.

“I want to hear about everything. Therapy, your travels, all the things I missed.” Grabbing her hand in his, he felt a sense of relief no longer feeling the ring. He nuzzled in her neck, scathing it lightly with his fangs. Breath ragged, his eyes reddened hearing her lightly moan as she stepped closer into him. He picked her up and looked into her eyes.

“Later Little One. There’s something we need to do first.”
