The Decision

The Decision
The Day of the Wedding

“How do I look, fellas?”

“Like a damn fool.” Sam rolled his eyes at Elijah's words.

“Why are you three my groomsmen again?”

“Because nobody fucking likes your ass including us, but we love Alexus so unfortunately we’re forced to be here” Jordan looked at Sterling.

“JESUS!” Sam nodded his head.

"YOU SEE THE WAY HE SPEAKS TO ME ALPHA!” Jordan nodded.

“I would have personally said you look like an fucking piece of shit, but then again, who am I to judge?” As the three left, Sam rolled his eyes.

This will be all over in a minute.

He couldn’t wait until he was on the other side. “You okay?” He called and he saw his special guest arrive from the darkness.

“You shouldn’t let them speak to you like that.” She seethed. He scrunched his face.

"I could give a shit how they feel. Once Alexus marries me, I'll finally get my revenge.” Taking her mouth, he moved to behind her ear. Licking the mark he’d placed, he smirked. “You love me?” She nodded.

“Of course.” She couldn’t wait until this was all over, so she could claim him.

Pulling her into his arms, he quickly unfastened his pants. “I want you.” He murmured, lifting her to his waist. Sliding her panties to the side, Sam entered her and pressed her against the wall. “Damn…” He murmured as he stroked deep inside. Feeling his mate's walls around him, drove him immediately to his release. He gripped her face. “Say it. Say you love me.”

“I love you.” She moaned out. Releasing inside of her again, he kissed her neck. “Fuck, you make me want to keep going.” She smirked.

“Put me down…you have a wedding to attend.”

Sam groaned before sitting her down. She looked at him. “Are you going to sleep with her?” He laughed.

“It would be weird if I didn’t sleep with my wife wouldn’t it?” Seeing the hurt in her face, he clasped it. “Don’t worry, I’ll always belong to you.”

He relished in the idea of biting Alexus, turning her while being inside her. He’d put in all this time, he felt he should reap the rewards. Readjusting his suit, he kissed his mate before walking out the door.

Alexus looked to her sisters. “Why do you two look more nervous than me?” They said nothing as Morgan fixed her veil. She linked to Rachel.

"We tried"

They were sure seeing Demetri leaving would change everything, yet here they were. Preparing Alexus to walk down the aisle, to a man she clearly didn't love. They stood in silence, the agony in their stomachs growing. Morgan grabbed both Jordan and Sterling’s arms and walked down the aisle. She watched Rachel and Elijah shortly join her, and then everyone stood for Alexus. Though she couldn’t see her, Morgan felt the dread in her heart.

The dress wasn’t hideous, but it wasn’t Alexus, it screamed something Sam would like. And as she joined him at the alter, he grabbed her arm and pulled her close.

“You know what I like.” He smirked, and Alexus looked down to the floor. “I can’t wait to rip that off of you.” Alexus looked back to her sisters. She couldn’t understand their expressions, but they were clearly unhappy.

“I want to welcome everyone to the wedding of Sam and Alexus. Two destined mates, who found one another and fully plan to move forward in Dark Moon.”

Alexus could hardly hear the words coming from the officiant's mouth. Her mind spinning, her thoughts all over the place in the hopes that they would land on something that brought her peace. She looked to the crowd knowing he wasn’t there and feeling foolish that for a moment she thought he would be.

“And now…if there are no objections…”

“STOP!”

Alexus looked to her sisters who spoke in sync. “What are you two doing?”

Morgan grabbed her arm and the three moved away, and she noticed the sadness in their eyes.

“Alexus…you know we love you more than anything right?” She nodded. “No…do you really know? Because I feel like you might not.” Alexus shook her head.

“Do we REALLY have to talk about this right NOW?” Shaking their head feverishly, they pressed her to answer. She sighed.

“Sometimes…I feel left out of the little club that you have and though I know you love me, I also know that I mess up a lot. And I wonder…how could you still feel the same…when I’ve done so many things that hurt you.”

It was then that the Pierce sisters realized their true mistake. Rachel breathed in deep. “Alexus, there isn’t anything you can do that could make me stop loving you, and I really need you to understand that because of what I’m about to say. YOU DO NOT need to sacrifice your happiness to be with us. Your happiness is your happiness..your life is your life.” Morgan chimed in.

“And we want you to live that life whether it be human…werewolf-“ She lifted Alexus's veil over her head. “Or vampire.” Alexus eyes widened.

“Y-you don’t want me to be a werewolf?”

“We want you to be with who YOU want to be with. If it's Sam, then we will support you and stand by your side. But if you’re only marrying him because you want to be with us, we can’t support that…we need you to truly be happy.”

Alexus looked to her sisters, and Rachel wiped a tear from her eye. “It’s time you stand up for yourself Lexy, whatever you decide we have your back.” Alexus inhaled sharply.

“I-I think…I know…I’m in love with someone else…” Morgan smiled.

“Demetri?” Alexus nodded her head. “Then what are you going to do about it?” Alexus looked to the crowd. She saw Terrence and Annie nod their heads at her.

Puffing out her chest, she turned around and faced Sam. “I don’t want to get married today.” She saw his face fall.

“How could you do this to me? I love you.” He walked and tried to grab her hand and Alexus shook him off.

“I’m sorry Sam…but I’m in love with someone else. I offically reject you as my mate.” He seethed.

"It’s that fucking vampire isn’t it?”

“His name is Demetri and I understand you’re upset, but I can’t help how I feel.” She turned to her sisters. “I’m sorry…I just wanted so much to be with you.” They embraced her tightly.

"You are with us, but it’s time you stand on your own. The Clan and the Wolves work together, we won’t be far. “ Nodding, she spoke low.

“I-I lost him…he left.” She felt the tears well in her eyes, and then a hand on her shoulder. Unable to contain the secret anymore, Stacy looked at Alexus.

“I know you’re going to hate me…but there’s something I REALLY need to tell you.”
