CHAPTER 14
It is a very bright Saturday and Kiki and I have decided to go shopping finally today. The time is just 9:30 in the morning and I think it isn’t too bad for a Saturday, I sluggishly get up from the bed and decided to do a little full-body workout in my room as it is too late to start jogging around the street.
My phone came up and it is Mom “Hello mom,” I said as I pick up the phone and press receive “Hi darling” she replied “Mom you called, hope there’s no problem,” I asked since it is very unusual for my parents to call when no occasion or festival is going on “Don’t be like that Candy” she replied with a kind of sick voice “So, what’s up” I asked again “There is a little problem,” she said while I hum in reply before she continues “We are having an issue with two of our companies recently like an unknown person is trying to claim it as we have been receiving some weird emails recently” she concluded “What?!! how on earth can that happen” I asked with surprise and shock all over me “I just want to tell you that just in case of anything or you noticed something around,” she said “I think you have to report to the police and some other things because how will I be able to notice anything here. I haven’t even been to those companies before and I only have Kyle and myself here so how do…...” I explained before my mom interrupted “I really have to go, Darling, take care of yourself,” she said and dropped the call “shit!” I rumbled as I throw my phone on the bed with annoyance.
This woman is not always ready to listen to anything, she will just talk and drop the call giving me no chance to also express myself.
“I can’t continue again,” I said to myself as I started walking towards the closet to undress and go have my bath.
Getting to the bathroom I realized my body and hair wash will get exhausted in a few days, so I have to add it to my shopping list. I set the water to a very warm temperature a had a very nice bath. I washed my hair thoroughly and did a little treatment I know. After doing all the wash, I comfortably sat in my Jacuzzi while processing some latest occurrences.
“Norah” I can hear Kiki calling from outside I quickly get my ass up and wrap myself with a towel before going out of the bathroom to open the door for her.
“welcome darling,” I said immediately I opened the door to see a very beautiful face “Go and dress up,” she said ignoring my greeting as she went ahead to curl herself up in the couch “Okay,” I sighed before going back to my closet I am wearing black ripped jeans and a baby pink crop top with my black and white striped shoes. I applied burgundy lipstick and mascara to emphasize my eyelashes.
“Your phone is ringing” Kiki called out “Who is the caller” I asked her “Bran” she replied
I quickly round up what I was doing and quickly went to pick up the phone “Hey babe, exam is starting tomorrow,” He said This sounds a little silly, who doesn’t know that “Sure, I know and what’s up with it” I said in form of a question “We came up with the idea of all of us studying together,” he said We will branch there on our way back from shopping” I replied
“see you later then,” Bran said before he dropped the call I looked at Kiki while she signaled to me asking what is the latest “The guys said we should study together,” I told her while I can see her face brightening up “OH YEAH!!” Kiki exclaimed as she carried her bag and started heading out of my room.

“Check this out,” Kiki said making me look up at her.
“It is very nice, but I think you should choose black” I commented.
It is already thirty minutes and we are still in the boutique checking out different dresses that caught our attention. I have been able to pick two gowns for now while Kiki hasn’t picked any yet, but it seems she like a very beautiful Neon green gown she just showed me, I don’t understand her love for lousy colors, but I hope she changed it to black or something cool.
“Got it!” she exclaimed as she picked up a blue gown “Yeah, it is nice” I replied as I stretch my neck a little forward to check what she just got I bought six gowns with matching shoes, high heels, two pairs of trousers, four tops and a beach hat just in case since I now have a boyfriend and an outgoing set of friends. I didn’t forget to buy my bathing necessities too and little snacks for me and the guys to aid our reading. Kiki bought five gowns and three shoes with a high heel, of course, six tops and undies too. We both contributed money for a carton of chocolates to help us prepare for the examination.
“Hope we didn’t forget anything,” Kiki asked “I don’t think so” I replied as we drop our shopping bags in the backseat, and I start the car.

I pull up in Bran’s parking lot and we both jumped out of the car and started walking towards the door when I remembered I haven’t checked nor deliver the letter that Kia gave me.
“I saw Kia yesterday,” I said
“REALLY?” Kiki asked with surprise
“keep it low,” I said signaling to her to lower her voice “He gave me a letter to deliver to Bran, but I want to confirm its content first,” I said in a very low voice “When we leave here, we will go and do that” she replied looking so excited to know what the content might be “Well-done ma,” I said with sarcasm We got to the door and immediately the door opens to reveal Mathis with is beautiful black eye “see my ladies,” Mathis said as he pulls Kiki and me into his arm, giving us a big hug all together After a couple of seconds, he let go of us while I was immediately pulled into another arm which must be Brans and after that, I hugged Fed before we all moved to the sitting room “So, Bran called,” I said trying to distract everyone from the chitchats
“Yes, Fed came up with an idea” Mathis replied
“Which is?” Kiki asked “I feel you girls should stay here for a week and we all can prepare together” Fed explained “It will be fun” Bran added
“Let’s do this Norah, please,” Kiki said pleadingly I looked at everyone and finally, at Kiki, they all have an apologetic face and I wonder if I am the supreme being to finalize their wishes.
“As much as I won’t like to stay here because it might be a big distraction with you guys' presence yet I will still be distracted without you wonderful friends so it will be a YES,” I said excitedly and awaiting more excitement from others.
“OH YES!!” Kiki and Fed exclaimed in sync while Bran jumped on my giving me a very big hug and whispered, “thank you, babe”.
Kiki and I went back to our different houses and we have planned to go to the guys after school tomorrow till the end of our examination so typically I am still going to sleep over in my house today and prepare for my first paper.
Right now, I am sitting on my fur pink study chair with a little pink table in front of me. I hardly sit on this chair if not for studying or assignments, it is a very comfortable piece of furniture for studying that our neighbor in Las Vegas got for me on my fifteenth birthday before we moved to San Diego.
“Anyone home???” I heard Kyle calling out I decided not to answer him and just concentrate on my book but yet he called again, and I have to answer him to stop him from distracting me “I am studying so what do you want” I asked loud enough for him to hear “I ordered Pizza for both of us, so I want to know if you don’t mind” he replied from outside trying to be loud as much as possible “I don’t joke about fucking pizza,” I said as I jumped out of the bed and rushed to the kitchen to meet him “I will be going to Bran’s place with Kiki to study with the rest for six or a week”. I explained to him
“my cousin is already a young adult already so I feel you can take care of yourself well now” he replied with little sarcasm while I just nodded in reply.
