CHAPTER 10
It is a very bright Saturday morning, it is so unusual to wake up early on Saturdays but since we have agreed to meet at the guy’s place, I have to be up on time. It is just 5:00 am and everything is still as quiet as ever. I stretched my hand to pick up my backpack and bring out the note pad which I took from Morris yesterday. I opened the notepad and on the front page was written “ACTIVITIES” so I guess it must be where she wrote most of her plans for every day in a week and so I started checking through it. On a page was written, “WEREWOLFs” and a picture of a man’s body with a wolf head was drawn under it and on another page, I saw “HIDDEN WILLIAMS NORAH” boldly written with the letter “W” and “I” crossed out, and to say the truth I was shocked though not surprised.
“Snap it”
I quickly unplugged my phone from the socket and started snapping all the pages in the notepad where things were written.
I decided to go jog but yet the thought of what happened the other day flashed through my mind, so I decided to do some indoor exercises like squatting, butt kicks, fire hydrants, and the rest. I have a fitness app on my phone which do help me a lot, all I have to do is to open it, increase the volume, set my phone like a screen at the front, and watch and practice with the animation designed to take me through everything. I was still busy with lunges when I heard the front door open so I rushed to my window to see who it can be, and I guessed right it was Kyle going to his car and later he drove out of the compound.
He has been doing a lot of weird things lately which sometimes makes me feel so odd, I remembered the day I caught him in my father’s room also, and after it all he got angry that we never talk about it again.
After the exercise I did my laundry and washed and sanitized my toilet and bathroom especially my bathing tub, I cleaned my room and arranged my closets, and I was happy with myself knowing I did all that without spending money on the laundry and cleaning workers as usual.
I had my bath, and French-braided my hair in the parts, and raised the rest into a high bun, I decided to wear my white and black striped short jumpsuit and my white sneakers. I headed downstairs and into the kitchen to make toast and tea for Kyle and me, and after eating I went back to my room to pick Morris notepad and my range rover key.

I pull up in front of Bran’s house and I can see Kiki’s car already parked, Kiki has always been a very punctual girl unlike me. I pressed the doorbell and immediately the door was opened revealing Kiki.
“You are looking so beautiful” Kiki complemented as she hugged me while I can’t help but to blush She let go of me and I was able to access her also and all I can say is “can I also get a little of your beauty” I said like a question while she smiled and started dragging me into the sitting room with my left ear.
“Let go of me motherfucker” I demanded rudely but in a pleading manner while she smiled and sat my ass down somewhere.
I looked up, holding my ear which is now feeling so hot, to see the guys looking at us like children, and the annoying part was that she sat me down beside Bran who I have decided to avoid throughout today.
“now that the two kids here are done, we Elders can have our way,” Mathis said jokingly earning a handful of laughter from all of us.
“Now I guess we have Ashley and Morris notes here and also Kiki’s letter,” Fed asked while we nodded Kiki spread out the letter while I and Mathis also opened the notes with us and all of us gathered around it to compare and without wasting our time, we can all see the writing clearly matches that of Morris, and at the right corner of the letter was written the ‘werewolves’.
“so, the attack was done by Morris and some groups” Fed cleared before Bran opened his buccal cavity to talk for the first time since I got there “I just remember those attackers wore dresses with a trace of neon green,” Bran said “then I remembered Norah telling us the guys she saw with Ashley on her way back from the forest had scars on their face and also one of my attackers had scars also” Kiki stated
“then we will all agree Morris and Ashley are either in a cult group or have them as backup” Mathis explained while we all signed in agreement.
I showed them other pages in Morris notepad and where my name was written with a letter crossed out.
“I think they actually have a lot of attack plans for us and especially Norah” Fed stated looking at us to reason with him “The total number of your name is the total number of the attack they are planning on for us and on the last letter they are going to finish you Norah” Kiki explained and to say the truth her level of reasoning amazed every one of us.
“Bravo” I commented looking at her so lovingly and the other guys also have that expression on their faces.
Bran stood up and started pacing around the sitting room looking so unsettled while the rest of us turned our attention to him.
“so, they are planning on 12 attacks and they have succeeded in two already which we have only reciprocated one by dealing with the two ladies,” Bran said while we nodded, and immediately Mathis stood up also
“so, they still have 10 more attacks in plan while we must have 10 or 11 more actions to take” Mathis responded while we looked at him confusingly “How is it 11” I asked
“We have to reciprocate or defend ourselves in 11 times also” Mathis explained while Fed smirked I looked at Fed and then at Kiki
“How are we going to stand up to cultists when we are just a bunch of innocents” Kiki asked saying my mind “we will put our brain in use Kiki” Fed responded while Bran and Mathis smiled.
The thought of how Ashley and Morris have always been an enemy and now they have upgraded to another level and also endangering other innocent people flushed down my heart.
“I won’t like to put any of us into more troubles,” I said, and I mean it “It is our fight now Norah as all of us are involved and we can never lose our pride to some group of jobless and homeless boy of our age” Bran retorted sounding pissed and left the sitting room “Never, we are here for you Princess” Fed said smiling at me “We are going to protect you girls because we love you both so dearly,” Mathis said patting Kiki on the shoulder before walking up the stairs too I looked at Kiki to see the expression of happiness all over her face and I am sure mine will be like that also, I looked at Fed to see him staring at me.
“what?” I asked throwing my hands in the air looking at Fed Fed walked up to me looking me straight in the eye and I must say the look is melting my heart and I can see hope in his eye, yes, I just have a feeling of hope mere looking into the beautiful eyes.
“I like so much like you Princess” Fed said still looking into my eye and I can feel my face turning red even as much as I tried to stop it.
“come off it, Norah”
“you can’t continue to look into those eyes if you don’t want to keep remembering them”
Beatrice is very right this time because I am beginning to shiver and I feel so dumb right now, I just blushed in front of Fed. Why do I have to feel like this for God’s sake?
“adolescence, adulthood”
I looked away from Fed but to my greatest surprise he turned my head towards him again
“Bran loves you so much, don’t disgrace my friend please” he muttered as he turned away his face looking so sad, and turned towards the stairs I looked at Kiki not knowing what to say and she immediately pulled me into a hug
“Please Norah, stop fighting within yourself because I know you like Bran also” Kiki whispered I pulled away from her and looked her straight in the eye while she nodded “We have just one more year to spend in High school, so why not enjoying loosen up too,” she said, and I nodded understanding, yet I feel so embarrassed kinda.
“do you still like Kyle” I asked Kiki
“I don’t even know Norah; I can’t feel anything right now” Kiki replied “who do you feel for now” I asked
“I think I am getting to like Mathis which is not healthy,” Kiki said looking so confused and annoyed at the same time “he might like you too, but you have to be calm,” I said while she nodded putting her head on my shoulder.
