TYSON
I became tense at once and dashed outside despite Marcella's voice yelling at me to come back.
There's no way Zenevieva would go missing at once in the space of how many hours.
I rushed to the dungeon and saw her…the girl that's always with her.
"You can't enter such a filthy place, my King."
One of the guards insisted and blocked the path of the dungeon.
"Fetch me Zenevieva!" I retorted, looking frustrated already.
He went inside and came out almost immediately.
"She's not here, Your Majesty!"
I threw a punch at him and he fell down and went up almost immediately to apologize.
"What the fuck is your duty here? Where the heck is the Luna?" I yelled, getting restless and imagining my mum's face getting all fierce and angry, actually giving up because of me and that stupid girl whose aim was to frustrate my life.
"I…I'm sorry, I really don't know!"
I pushed him out of the way and got inside the dark and large dungeon to drag the girl I saw earlier.
"Where's Zenevieva?" I fumed the moment we were out and she flinched in fear, tears pooled in her eyes and she burst out in fresh tears.
Good heavens!!
What have I done wrong to this one that's making my already chaotic life far worse?
"Where's she? Why the heck are you crying? Were you hurt by something?"
She sniffed and wiped her tears.
"Am I going to be flogged naked? Please I beg you, don't do that to me, please…I don't know her whereabouts. Please don't flog me naked!"
She lamented loudly and I don't know whether it's supposed to make me feel powerful or proud.
I stood there, shock and confusion clouded my face.
"I.. wasn't going to do that," I confessed to her and my wolf moaned in pain and disappointment.
"You're a monster now!" It howled and I seethed.
It was so disappointing that I wanted to toss that feeling away but it clouded me like the air.
I felt terrible.
The first thing that came to this girl's mind was flogging her naked the moment she saw me, was that the aura I carried?
"She was with me when the chief maid called her with your orders."
"My orders?" I gasped and pinched my brows in confusion. " I never sent for Vieva ever since I sent her away…oh shit!! Shit!!"
I cursed and left the girl's sight whose face frowned in confusion as she watched me as If I was going crazy.
The guard told me she beat them and locked them up but it slipped my mind.
There were three types of dungeons in the palace and pack but Zenevieva and the chief maid aren't there.
I need to look for that guard and ask him to show me the exact dungeon.
"Send George to me," I told one of them and waited helplessly for him.
"Tyson!" My mum's voice was like an electric bomb to my heart and I knew I was finished.
I turned but she was all smiling radiantly.
"Come here dear, your beta is back!"
She said gleefully and I sighed and closed my eyes in satisfaction.
"Is this one of your tricks?" I asked to be sure.
"Come on, he just arrived and the first thing that left his lips was Tyson, that boy couldn't even greet me properly."
I gasped and dashed out from her presence to the palace living room straight.
I can't believe he's here finally.
"Tyler!" I gasped and he came over and threw a warm hug on me and we both laughed crazily.
"You lazy ass!! You ran from the zone?" I joked and hugged him.
"Of course not, I'm officially done. A renowned and extraordinary beta."
He said dramatically and I laughed.
"When did you arrive or leave?"
"As soon as we got new recruits and when we were officially signed as the overall best. I'm a cool one, no one would dare try me."
"Of course, I can see that, your muscles are practically going to rip off your dress, ugh!"
"Silly!"
"Don't dare! I'm now your king stupid boy, control your tongue!"
"Oh Yeah, rub it all over my face! I was dying in anger when I couldn't attend the royal wedding, my visa literally sent orders never to leave the training zone. Oh goodness!"
"It was frustrating too, but it was cool." I shrugged.
"So Marcella finally became the Queen huh? Aren't you a lucky one? Where's she?"
I sighed.
"Marcella isn't my Queen," I uttered painfully.
Yeah, Tyler has always known Marcella to be mine, and getting married to her was a must.
He's my childhood best friend and my beta despite the appointed beta chosen by the elders.
I would never have him as one when Tyler is here. I know Tyler lacked the skills of being a beta but he was as intelligent as a tortoise and I love him to infinity, I couldn't ask for anyone else so I sent him to the military pack zone to be trained as a beta for a space of five years.
Seeing him now is like a heavy pack of burden is lifted but the disappointment on his face is priceless.
"She's not? Why?"
"I found my mate!" Ew! I felt like puking even calling her that.
"Hmm…you don't seem to like this mate of yours at all "
"If you know how much I've tried to kill her to get the hell out of my life, you would feel for me?"
"Wow!! This is the most bizarre news ever, I was rooting for Marcella, not that I like her though but because you're crazy about her but trying to kill your chosen mate is extreme, you can't blame the poor girl for fate."
I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue.
"Where's she?" He asked
"Where's Zenevieva!!".
Mum barged in looking very pissed.
Oh shit!! I forgot about her again.
"Aren't you saying anything? Where the hell is Zenevieva ? Didn't you say that you were going to release her from that dungeon?"
I opened my mouth only to close it back, I really don't know where that rogue is right now and no one is giving me a clue.
"Dungeon?" Tyler asked and Mum turned to him.
Yeah, preach mum…sing everything to him.
"Yes darling, the dungeon. That's where he threw his Queen after flogging her naked in public!" She yelled in rage and Tyler gasped, gripping the table frame for support.
"Right now, she's missing!!" She turned to me fiercely.
"I'm going to meet the moon goddess right away! You don't deserve that throne!!"
She yelled and I knew my mum meant that.
"You can't do that, I've already appointed the King. I didn't do anything and I can do whatever I please, I didn't make her miss."
"You threw her into the dungeon, flogged her naked in public, and broke my golden plaque, I'm sure she will be pleased to hear that as the new King of Mudville Pack right?"
I'm doomed, this woman isn't in support of even the throne. She doesn't give a damn just because she enjoyed hers for a long time.
"Don't!! Please, I'll find her!" I begged.
